Nation passed away June 30, 1999 at Crittenden Hospital.
He was a retired painter.
Nation is survived by three cousins, Calvin Newcom of Clay, Jewell Bouchard of Burks, Va. and Evelena Enoch of Newport News, Va.
Lapp
Howard Albert Lapp III, 38, of Marion passed away July 1, 1999 at Crittenden Hospital.
Lapp is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Lapp of Marion; two sons, Christopher Lapp and Nicholas Lapp, both of Marion; his mother, Nancy Lapp of Marion; and two sisters, Holly Lapp and Barbara Lapp, both of Chicago, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Albert Lapp, Jr.
Services were held July 3 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Spurrier officiating. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery in Salem.

Alexander
John W. Alexander, 56, of Neoga, Ill., formerly of Marion passed away July 4, 1999.
He was a member of Piney Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Union Local #37 in Evansville, Ind.
Alexander is survived by his wife, Leona Alexander of Neoga; two daughters, Chastity Koester of Tuscola, Ill., and Mrs. Jacklin Roberts of Mattoon, Ill.; two sons, Shawn and Jonathon Alexander of Neoga; three stepsons, Danny Shepard, Scotty Shepard and Chad Shepard, all of Licking, Mo.; a brother, James Alexander of Marion; three sisters, Sarah Ford of Marion, Irene Croft of Salem and Martha Dixon of Licking; four grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.
Services were held July 7 at Piney Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Cortis Hill and Rev. Wendell Ordway officiating. Burial was in Piney Fork Cemetery.

Teka McConnell Martin, 31, of Princeton passed away July 6, 1999 at Caldwell County Hospital.
She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin Martin of Princeton; her parents, James and Judy McConnell of Fredonia; a brother, Keith McConnell of Fredonia; and a sister, Jill Bennett of Fredonia.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, July 8 at Morgan's Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Dawson officiating. Burial will be in Rowland Cemetery in Caldwell County.
Belt
Tammy Belt, 34, of Marion passed away June 26, 1999 at her home.
Belt is survived by her husband, Roger Belt of Marion; three daughters, Miranda Stevens, Chavone Stevens and Cynthia Doss, all of Marion; a son, Joseph Benkowski of Marion; six sisters, Phyllis Harris and Charlotte Jones of Salem, Cady Groendal of Ft. Myers, Fla., Pat Rowlands of Chattanooga, Tenn., Adrian West and Henrietta French, both of Russellville, Ala.; three brothers, David Damron of Eddyville, Elmer Damron of Marion and Ronnie Damron of Lola.
Belt was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Dorothy Damron.
Services were held June 30 at Boyd Funeral Home with Revs. Greg West and Lee Bush officiating. Burial was in Lola Cemetery.
Allen
Amanda Allen, seven months old, of Marion passed away June 26, 1999 at her home.
Allen is survived by her mother, Miranda Stevens of Marion; her father, Jonathan Allen of Marion; her grandparents, Paul Stevens, Paul Allen and Jeanneta Lutz, all of Marion; and several aunts and uncles.

Belt
Rose M. Belt, 61, of Marion passed away June 28, 1999 at Livingston County Hospital.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Clay.
She is survived by her husband, Alton Belt of Marion; two stepsons, Larry Belt of Sullivan and David Belt of Okeechobee, Fla.; four daughters, Kathy Young of Henderson, Genia Rudolph of Salem, Phyllis Campbell of Marion and Candy Yates of Marion; a brother, Billy Moore of Madisonville; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 1 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Phillips officiating. Burial was in Deer Creek Cemetery.
Todd
Services for William Todd, 83, of Marion were held June 27, 1999 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Baker officiating. Burial was in IOOF Cemetery in Clay.
Todd was a charter member and deacon of Emmanuel Baptist Church; the retired teachers' association; a Kentucky Colonel; a member of the soil conservation board; a member of the retired vocational agricultural teachers of America; a tax volunteer; and a member of the Masonic Lodge #256. Todd received his Master's Degree from the University of Kentucky and his Bachelor's Degree from Murray State University.
Todd also served as a military policeman during World War II.
Todd is survived by his wife, Ruth Todd of Marion; a son, Keith Todd of Paducah; a daughter, Linda May of Lola; a sister, Ora Lee Tapp of Morganfield; four grandchildren; eight grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.

Crider
Bobby John Crider, 68, of Marion passed away June 18, 1999 at Crittenden Hospital.
He was a member of Marion Baptist Church.
Crider is survived by his wife, Faye Crider of Marion; two sons, Johnny Crider and Allen Crider, both of Marion; a sister, Olga Nell Lowry of Owensboro; and four grandsons, Jacon Crider, Jett Crider, Jaric Crider and Ross Crider.
Services were held June 21 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Russ Davidson officiating. Burial was in Piney Fork Cemetery.
Bailey
Lena Bailey, 82, of Princeton passed away June 17, 1999 at her home.
Bailey was a retired clerk and cook.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth Bailey of Princeton; a daughter, Betty Land of Owensboro, Ind.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ralph Gunther of Marion; a sister, Pauline Armstrong of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held June 20 at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Rodney Wallace and Dr. Darryl Armstrong officiating. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery in Hopkins County.
