Orbie K. Walker, 85, of Marion, passed away Dec. 4, 2003 at his home. He was a member of Baker Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Thelma Newcom and Della Mae Thomas, both of Marion; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Brown Walker; and his parents, John T. and Clara Walker.
Graveside services were held Dec. 6 at Rosebud Cemetery with Rev. Robert Phillips and Rev. Jimmy Cowan officiating. Arrangements were made by Gilbert Funeral Home.
Noel
SALEM, Ky. - Funeral services for Gene Noel, 31, 2003 will be held at 1 p.m., Dec. 4 at Boyd Funeral Chapel. Rev. Lester Joyce will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
Noel passed away Dec. 1 at Livingston Hospital.
Surviving are his fiance, Aleshia Howard of Salem; a daughter, Jalaine Sueann Noel of Salem; a twin brother, Teddy Noel of Hendersonville, N.C.; six sisters, Karen Sprague of Ledbetter, Connie Johnson of Salem, Gaye Lynch of Grand Rivers, Donna Jackson and faye McDowell, both of Marion and Kim Noel of Lexington Park, Md.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Elaine Trail Noel; a sister, Janet Jalaine Noel and a nephew, David Johnson.
Keith
POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. - Florence Keith, 64, formerly of Marion, passed away Dec. 2, 2003 at Three Rivers Healthcare North. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Dec. 4 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Phillips will officiate. Burial will be in McMican Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Keith of Poplar Bluff; a son, Steven Keith of Poplar Bluff; four brothers, Elmer and Dennis Holloman, both of Marion; Willie Holloman of Hammond, Ind., and Joe Holloman of Poplar Bluff; three sisters, Shelby Fritts and Jerri Curry, both of Poplar Bluff; and Betty Corley of Marion; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lorene Holloman.
Hunt
Marvin Hunt, 66, of Marion, passed away Dec. 1, 2003 at West Kentucky Veteran's Center in Hanson. He was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Hunt; a stepdaughter, Shannon Stout; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Hunt; and his father, Eston "Buck" Hunt.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Dec. 4 at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
O'Nan
Betty O'Nan, 75, of Marion, formerly of Booneville, Ind., passed away Nov. 29, 2003 at her home. She was a member of the Marion United Methodist Church, the Crittenden County Hospital Auxiliary and was a retired farmer and licensed beautician.
She is survived by three sons, Jimmy "Ree" O'Nan of Burna, David O'Nan of Salem and Jon O'Nan of Lola; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph D. O'Nan; a sister; a brother; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Miller.
Graveside services were held Dec. 2 at Hackelman Cemetery in Reo, Ind., with Rev. Wayne Garvey officiating. Arrangements were handled by Boyd Funeral Home.
Gipson
Funeral services for Robert Henry Gipson, 78, of Marion, were held Dec. 3, 2003 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Faughn officiated. Burial was in Love Cemetery.
Gipson passed away Nov. 30 at Salem Springlake Care Center. He was a member of Marion Church of God. He served the U.S. Army in World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Shelby Gipson of Marion; two sons, Rickey Wayne Gipson and Ronald Wade Gipson, both of Marion; a daughter, Barbara Jo Gipson of Marion; a brother, George Gipson of Marion and several nieces and nephews.
Guess
SALEM, Ky. - Mary E. Guess, 87, passed away Nov. 27, 2003 at Salem Springlake Care Center. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Ronnie Guess of Burna; and a daughter, Janetta Jackson of Burna; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse A. Guess; a daughter, Lona M. Peck; a son, Jesse R. Guess; and her parents, Francis M. and Addie Duncan Doom.
Graveside services were held Nov. 29 at Loveless Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Roger Holloman officiating.
Phelps
Betty Lou Phelps, 70, of Marion, passed away Nov. 26, 2003 at her home. Funeral services were Nov. 30 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Phillips officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Surviving are a son, Bob Phelps of Evansville; two daughters, Brenda Phelps of Portage, Ind., and Debra Graham of Tell City, Ind.; two sisters, Sara Ritzert and Wanda Jones, both of Evansville; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl "Eulls" Phelps.
Arflack
LOLA, Ky. - Funeral services for Rosemary Arflack, 58, were held Nov. 26, 2003 at Boyd Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Fouts and Rev. Mike Grimes officiated. Burial was in Lola Pentecostal Cemetery.
Arflack passed away Nov. 24 at Lourdes Hospital. She attended Lola Pentecostal Church.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Arflack of Lola; a daughter, Tina Harris of Lola; a son, Chuck Arflack of Lola; a half-brother, Lawrence Kaiser of Sacramento, Calif; three grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Rosalia Lummus Kitchens; and a half- brother.

Lloyd
EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Services for Nellie Ryan Lloyd, 92, formerly of Salem, were held Nov. 22, 2003 at Boone Funeral Home in Evansville with entombment in Park Lawn Mausoleum-Georgian Chapel in Evansville.
Lloyd passed away Nov. 19 at Woodland Convalescent Center in Newburg. She was born in Livingston County, attended Salem High School and graduated from Western Kentucky Teachers College in 1933 before teaching for a few years in Livingston County.
She is survived by two sons, John B. Lloyd of Newburg, Ind., and Robert Lee Lloyd of Aurora, Colo.; a daughter, Sandra Thompson of Evansville; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lloyd; and a brother, Joseph B. Ryan, Jr. Her parents were Joseph Burnett Ryan, Sr., and Jennie Parker Ryan.
Hurley
SMITHLAND, Ky. - Don Ray Hurley, 57, passed away Nov. 21, 2003 at Lourdes Hospital. He passed away as a result of injuries suffered in a car accident near Hampton.
He was a member of Local 181 Operating Engineers of Paducah.
Funeral services were held Nov. 24 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Hurley officiating. Burial was in Carrsville Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Peggy McDowell Hurley of Smithland; a son, Nick Hurley of Burna; a daughter, Jina Whyte of Smithland; his mother, Mildred Hurley of Carrsville; two brothers, Deon Hurley and Dwayne Hurley, both of Carrsville; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Devenous Hurley.
Ingala
PADUCAH, Ky. - Josephine Ingala, 88, passed away Nov. 22, 2003 at Crittenden Hospital. No local services are planned. Burial was in Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury, NY. Boyd Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Ingala of Salem and Joseph Ingala of Springhill, Fla.; a brother, Michael Cowell of Brooklyn, NY; four sisters, Rose Crino of Hampton Bays, NY, Jeanne Tedesco of Florida, Margie Coluzzi of Staton Island, NY and Millie Johnson of California; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters; a brother; her husband, Anthony Ingala; and her parents, Joseph and Antonia Zaxarro Cowell.
