Lloyd Dunning, 46, of Marion, passed away Sept. 23, 2003 at his home. He was a member of Marion Baptist Church. He graduated from Crittenden County High School where he played basketball for four years. He graduated and received a bachelor's degree in business and his MBA from Murray State University. He was employed by Bremner's, Inc., in Princeton and was a member of the Crittenden County Genealogy Society.
Surviving are his mother, Myrle Dunning of Marion; a sister, Lonette Watson of Portland, Tenn.; a niece; and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, L.E. Dunning.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Sept. 26 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Clarke officiating. Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery.

Hunt
Robert "Tom" Hunt, 80, of Marion, passed away Aug. 28, 2003 at Livingston Hospital. He was a retired hardwood lumber dealer.
Hunt is survived by his wife, Shirley Hunt of Marion; three sons, Kenneth Hunt and Russ Hunt, both of Marion and Chuck Hunt of Carlyle, Ill.; three daughters, Mary Ellen Hunt of Carlyle, Jill Pastora of Evansville and Jeri Hunt of Princeton; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Myrtle Carroll of Fairfield, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James B. and Pinkey Ellen Wheeler Hunt; five brothers; and a sister.
Funeral services were held Aug. 31 at Olive Branch Church in Wayne City, Ill. Rev. Richard McCormick officiated with burial in Olive Branch Cemetery.
Drennan
Winfred L. Drennan, 84, of Marion, passed away Sept. 20, 2003 at his home. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Drennan of Marion; a daughter, Winona Woodside of Marion; a son, Roger Drennan of Marion; two brothers, Kenneth Drennan of Marion, and Charles Drennan of Newburgh, Ind.; and three grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Alma and Virgil Drennan; and son David Drennan.
Funeral services were held Sept. 22 at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Carter officiating. Burial was in Sugar Grove Cemetery. Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Roberts
HAMPTON, Ky. - Robert C. Roberts, 79, passed away Sept. 22, 2003 at Livingston Hospital. He was a member of Minisink Reformed Church in Montague, N.J., and the Masonic Lodge of New Jersey.
He is survived by a daughter, Diane Fraley of Smithland; a son, David S. Roberts of Hampton; a brother, Hobart N. Roberts of Smithland; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley B. and Mable Cole Roberts.
Funeral services were Sept. 24 at Boyd Funeral Home in Salem with Bro. Billy Hurley, Bro. Willie Guess and Bro. Jerry Brewer officiating. Burial was in Minisink Reformed Church Cemetery.

Wise
Funeral services for Mildred Ann Wise, 81, of Marion, were held Sept. 24, 2003 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Phillips officiated. Burial was in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
Wise was a member of Sugar Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by five sons, Steve Wise of Campbellsville, Gary Wise of Pacific, Mo., Eddie Wise of St. Claire, Mich., Paul Wise of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., and Darrell Wise of Fayetteville, Tenn.;10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Wise; and a daughter, Norma Jean Binkley.
Johnson
Catherine Johnson, 81, passed away Sept. 11, 2003 at Crittenden County Convalescent Center. She was a member of Barnett Chapel General Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Drury of Marion and Ada Nell Johnson of Tolu; one son, James Eddie Johnson of Tolu; two sisters, Mary Ellen Brown and Juanita Hobbs both of Marion; one brother, W. G. Belt of Nebo, Ky.; and one grandchild, Ashley Dawn Johnson of Tolu.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Johnson; and parents, Samuel W. and Mary Graham Belt.
Funeral services were held Sept. 13 at Barnett Chapel Church with Rev. David Winders and Rev. Loyd Harris officiating. Burial was at White's Chapel Cemetery.
Boyd Funeral Home was in care of arrangements.

Sorensen
MADISON, Wisc. - Lois E. Sorensen 83, a former Crittenden County resident, passed away on Sept. 11, 2003. She was a graduate of Frances High School's class of 1938 and was employed by U.S. Steel Co. for 40 years, first at the Lafayette Mine and then in the district office at Uniontown, Penn.
She is survived by her brother, Milton Sorensen in Madison and a sister, Sherrill Baugh in Carmichael, Calif. Burial will be in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Penn.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Elmer S. and Blanche Gambold Sorensen.
Sterling
CONWAY, Ark. - Ruby June Hodge Sterling, 79, of Conway, Ark., passed away Sept. 14, 2003 at her home.
She was born June 28, 1924 in Mexico, Ky., to the late Vernon E. and Ruby Cruce Hodge. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Gerald W. Hodge.
Sterling was a bookkeeper up until she retired in 2001 and a member of Faith Assembly of God in Conway.
Survivors include her husband William F. Sterling; a daughter, Judith A. Herzog of Malibu, Calif; a son, Richard Davis of Conway; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jean Waterloo of Little Rock, Joan Carver of Las Vegas, Arlene Luster of Texas; two brothers, Vernon Hodge of Ocala, Fla, Don F. Hodge of Marion; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Sept. 16 at Faith Assembly of God Church in Conway with Rev. Roger D. Mattox officiating. Burial was Sept. 17 at Mapleview Cemetery in Marion.

Stratton
SALEM, Ky. - Delores Juanita Potter Steele Stratton, 70, passed away Sept. 15, 2003 at Crittenden Hospital. She was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Marion.
Surviving are her husband, Rollie Stratton; three sons, Michael Gee, Tracey Gee and David Gee, all of Salem; two daughters, Linda K. Crews of Wickliffe and Mae Crews of Resperia, Calif.; a stepson, Jon Stratton of Paducah; five stepsisters, Nancy J. Harrison of Florida, Karen Ann Khavari of Pennsylvania, Linda Sue Rutherford of Alabama, Ruth Marie Steele and Mary Etta Black, both of Florida; a stepbrother, Al Wynn of Colorado; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy S. Gee; her second husband, Linneth Potter; and her parents, David Steele and Nola Alcock Merideth.
Funeral services were Sept. 17 at Milner and Orr Funeral Home in WIckliffe with Rev. David Cunningham officiating. Burial was in Wickliffe Cemetery.
Karr
CARRSVILLE, Ky. - N.S. "Sally" Karr, 93, passed away Sept. 15, 2003 at his home. He was a member of Pipefitters Local 184 in Paducah and Carrsville Methodist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Joyce Hurley and Norberta Williams, both of Carrsville; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearle E. Karr; a sister; and four brothers.
Funeral services will be Sept. 18 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Black officiating. Burial will be in Carrsville Cemetery.
