Walker
DEBARY, Fla. ­ Evalyn Walker, 89, died Dec. 2, 2004 at Fish Memorial Hospital in Orange City, Fla.
She is survived by three sons, Marvin O. Towery of Burnsville, N.C., Carl D. Towery of Crewstview, Fla., and James J. Walker of Debary, Fla.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were Dec. 8 at Shady Grove Cemetery. Rev. Frank McCallum will officiate. Gilbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Walker
GRAND RIVERS, Ky. ­ Nancy Walker, 85, died Dec. 5, 2004 at Livingston Hospital. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, T.J. Walker; three sons, Tommy Walker, Noble Duncan and Darrell Duncan, all of Grand Rivers; two daughters, Janice Dukes of Grand Rivers and Carol Horne of Mayfield; a brother, Bryant Gray of Clay; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ura Duncan; two sisters; and a brother.
Funeral services were Dec. 8 at Smith Funeral Chapel with Rev. Rex Jones and Rev. James Cates officiating. Burial was in Dixon Cemetery.

Stinnett
PRINCETON, Ky. ­ Funeral services for Larnie F. Stinnett, 84, were Dec. 8, 2004 at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton. Rev. Ronnie Sivells and Rev. John Benton officiated. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. She died Dec. 5 at her home.
Stinnett was a member of Southside Baptist church and was a retired maintenance worker with ITT Grinnell.
Surviving are a daughter, Thela Blythe of Princeton; a sister, Willa Bell Lockhart of Princeton; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Aldridge Stinnett; a sister, Dorothy White; and a granddaughter, Kimberly Blythe. His parents were Floyd and Cordie Travis Stinnett.

Hughes
Reeta Juanita Hughes, 87, of Marion, died Nov. 30, 2004 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. She was a member of Dunn Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Helen (Floyd) Hart of Flint, Mich.; a sister-in-law, Margaret Weldon of Marion; and several nieces and nephews.
Hughes was preceded in death by her husband, James Franklin Hughes; two brothers; a sister. Her parents were Walter and Reeta Rankin Weldon.
Funeral services were Dec. 4 at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial in Mapleview Cemetery. Rev. Eddie Boone officiated.

Dunkerson
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. ­ Beulah Emerine Dunkerson, 91, formerly of Hampton, died Dec. 5, 2004 at Hospice at Sandefir Place. She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are two daughters, Georgia Compton and Joe Ann Ludwig, both of Chattanooga; two sons, Frank Emerine of Reidland and Terry Emerine of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a sister, Nellie Hazel Smith; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Emerine; her second usband, Aubrey Dunkerson; her parents, Joseph T. Walker and Florence McElmurry Walker; three brothers; and two sisters.
Graveside services were Dec. 8 at Hampton Cemetery. Bro. Bob Walker officiated.

Marks
MADISONVILLE, Ky. ­ Ronald E. Marks, 72, died Nov. 27, 2004 at the V.A. Hospital in Columbia, Mo. Funeral services were Dec. 1 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Carpenter officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville.
He was a member of First General Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a salesman for Green River Appliance for 17 years and was a Kentucky Colonel. He was a past president of the Bowlers Association and a member of VFW Post 5480.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn F. Marks of Madisonville; three sons, David Marks of Santa Fe, NM, Scott Marks of Hopkinsville and Keith Marks of Morgantown; two stepdaughters, Patsy Jones and Debra Williams, both of Apopka, Fla.; two sisters, Roberta Brown of Madisonville and Rachel Gardner of Providence; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, John Marks and Tommy Marks. His parents were Howard R. Marks and Ona Poole Marks.

Chandler
Mary Emily Chandler, 92, of Marion, died Nov. 23, 2004 at Princeton Health Care Manor. She was a member of Sugar Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a son, Tommy Chandler of Marion; a daughter, Effie Belle Dykstra of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two sister-in-laws, Flora Andrews and Brinnie Andrews, both of Marion; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Chandler; her parents, Chester A. "Pid" and Mary Belle Kemper Andrews; a son, Leroy Chandler; a grandson, Billy Roy Chandler; two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were Nov.26 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery. Bro. Frank McCallum officiated.

Kirk
Irene Kirk, 95, of Marion, died Nov. 27, 2004 at Crittenden County Convalescent Center. She was a member of Crayne Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Tabor of Crayne; two sons, Kenneth Kirk of Dawson Springs and Jim Kirk of West Frankfort, Ill.; a sister, Louise Kroeger of Evansville; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon "Bud" Kirk; four brothers; and a sister. Her parents were Thomas and Lottie Jones.
Funeral services were Nov. 29 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Graham officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Crayne Presbyterian Church, Crayne, KY 42033.

Sherer
TOLU, Ky. ­ Larry "Shirtail" Sherer, 62, died Nov. 23, 2004 at Livingston Hospital.
Surviving are his mother, Katie Sherer of Tolu; three brothers, Guthrie Sherer, Kenneth Sherer and Roger Sherer, all of Tolu; four sisters, Alma Lois Tinsley of Fredericktown, Mo., and Jean Underhill, Mary Estill Phillips and Donna Tinsley, all of Tolu.
He was preceded in death by his father, Millie Sherer.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Nov. 27 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Jimmy Porter will officiate with burial in Whites Chapel Cemetery.

Pahlmann
MURRAYVILLE, Ky. ­ Alyee J. Pahlmann, 81, died Nov. 21, 2004 at Livingston Hospital.
She worked for Capps Manufacturing in Jacksonville, Ill., and had been living in Marion for about two years.
She is survived a son, George Pahlmann of Murrayville; a daughter, Vicki Davidson of Marion; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jenny McDonald; a sister, Angie Willner; her husband, Clyde H. Pahlmann; and her parents, Perrin and Violetta White Moore.
Funeral services were Nov. 24 at Mackey Daws Funeral Home in Murrayville. Burial was in Murrayville City Cemetery.

Coleman
MADISONVILLE, Ky. ­ Millie Clemmie Coleman, 93, formerly of Marion, died Nov. 23, 2004 at Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Madisonville.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Nov. 27 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Maurice Montgomery officiating. Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery.
Surviving are two sons, Bob Coleman of Paducah and John Coleman of Morganfield; a daughter, Linda Welborn of Madisonville; nine grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Alice Elkins; her husband, William Lewis Coleman; and a son, Jimmy E. Coleman.
