Kentucky Marriage Records by County

Tabor
Sally Lou Tabor, 83, of Marion, died Oct. 31, 2004 at her home. She was a member of Seven Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Dennis Tabor of Ridgely, Tenn., Bruce Tabor of Marissa, Ill., and Randy Tabor of Zachery, La.; five daughters, Doris Vance of Santa Barbara, Calif., Joyce Haeglin of Marion, Earlene Brown of Eddyville, Patricia Workman of Dry Ridge, Ky., and Lori Young of Flora, Ill.; two brothers, Ed Millikan and Orlan Millikan, both of Marion; four sisters, Mary Buetry of Rolla, Mo., Lee Winegan of St. Louis, Ann Ike of Illinois and Clara Belle Green of Green Bay, Wisc.; 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Tabor; and two sons, Douglas Tabor and Luther Mansfield, Jr.
Funeral services were Nov. 3 at Seven Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Donnie Howton and Rev. Larry Workman officiated. Burial was in Frances Cemetery. Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Humphrey
Funeral services for Roy Joseph Humphrey, 87, of Marion, were Oct. 17, 2004 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Archie Brock officiated. Burial was in Mexico Cemetery.
He was the retired owner of Humphrey's Gas Station and member of Mexico Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Leon Humphrey of Gastonia, N.C.; two daughters, Becky Kirk of West Frankfort, Ill., and Terri Nesbitt of Marion; a brother, Hobart Humphrey of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; a sister, Helen Humphrey of Clinton, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Amburgy
Funeral services for Phillip Amburgy, 36, of Marion, were Oct. 22, 2004 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home in Tell City, Ind. Burial will take place in Troy City Cemetery in Troy, Ind.
Amburgy died Oct. 18 at his home. He was mechanic.
Survivors include three sons, William Amburgy of Tell City, Daniel Amburgy and Garrett Amburgy, both of Cannelton, Ind.; a daughter, Ashley Amburgy of Cannelton; his father, Charles Amburgy of Cannelton; his stepfather, Ronnie Reynolds of Tell City; two brothers, Charles Amburgy, Jr., and Robert Amburgy, both of Marion; a sister, Rhonda Strobel of Cannelton; and three nieces.
He was proceeded in death by his mother, Marilyn Sue Reynolds.

Johnson
DYCUSBURG, Ky. ­ Nellie Marie Johnson, 84, died Oct. 21, 2004 at her home.
Funeral services were Oct. 23 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Walzie Hosick officiating. Burial was in Dycusburg Cemetery.
Surviving are three sons, Jimmy Johnson of Dycusburg, Dickie Johnson of Henderson and Randall Johnson of Burbank, Calif.; two daughters, Wilma McLevain of Tennessee and Peggy Johnson of Dycusburg; a sister, Nina McDaniels of Evansville; 27 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Everett Aubrey Johnson; a son, Silas Johnson; and a daughter, Anna Sue Riddle. Her parents were Reese and Susie Beals Hust.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lourdes Hospice, 2855 Jackson Street, Paducah, KY 42001.

Dixon
HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. ­ Helen Maxine Dixon, 76, formerly of Marion, died Oct. 24, 2004 at Western State Hospital. Funeral services were Oct. 26 at Gilbert funeral Home with Rev. David Winders officiating. Burial was in Watson Cemetery.
Dixon was a member of First Assembly Church of Princeton and was retired from Moore Business Forms.
She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Dianne Hackney of Marion; a sister, Billie Jewel Belt of Salem; and three grandchildren.

Davis
HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. ­ Anna Bell Davis, 70, formerly of Smithland, died Oct. 19, 2004 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center. She was of the Church of Christ faith.
Surviving are a daughter, Fran Hawkins of Clayton, Ga.; two sons, Dalvin Todd and Dell Brown, both of Paducah; two brothers, Walter Langdon of Ledbetter and Albert Langdon, Jr., of Metropolis, Ill.; five sisters, Sylvia Dismore of Grand Rivers, Betty Mordue of Tampa, Fla., Shirley Harmon of Eddyville, Dorothy Langdon and Linda Pace, both of LaCenter; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte Ann Price; a sister; a brother; and her parents, Albert and Mary Tabor Langdon.
Funeral services were Oct. 21 at Dyer Hill Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Carter officiating. Burial was in Dyer Hill Cemetery.
Boyd Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Dunbar
McALLEN, Texas. ­ Edna Earl Dunbar, 78, formerly of Providence, died Oct. 14, 2004 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital. She was a active in the VFW Ladies Auxiliary at the Jack McDowell Post 5484 and attended First United Methodist Church in Providence.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Cameron of McAllen, Texas; a sister, Loretta West of Marion; two grandchildren, Deanna Trevino of Edinburg, Texas and Michael Cawthorn of Louisville; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Jeanne Cawthorn; her husband, Ray Dunbar; and a sister, Robbie Goodwine.
Funeral services were Oct. 21 at Townsend-Jones Funeral Home in Providence with Bro. E.J. Hatton and Bro. Mark and Sister Isabel Brown officiating. Burial was in Big Hill Cemetery in Providence.

Curnel
FORT SMITH, Ariz. ­ Lawson M. Curnel, 86, died Sept. 27, 2004. He was born in Tolu and graduated from Marion High School. He attended Western Kentucky University and Evansville University before joining the Army Air Force and becoming an Army pilot. He retired as director of quality assurance from the Whirlpool Corp., Fort Smith Division.
Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Haaser of Fort Smith; two sons, Kim Curnel of Fort Smith and Scott Curnel of St. Louis; a sister, Mildred Lockhart of Paducah; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Curnel.
Funeral services were Oct. 1 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith.

Ethridge
EDDYVILLE, Ky. ­ Juanita Baldwin Ethridge, 79, died Oct. 18, 2004 at Caldwell County Hospital. She was a self-employed seamstress and member of Fairview Methodist Church in Lyon County.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Kimball Ethridge; a daughter, Carol Freeman of Lyon County; a son, Kenneth Ethridge of Lyon County; her mother, Helen MccCormick Baldwin of Eddyville; three sisters, Genetta Lancaster of Hopkinsville, Betty Schmidt of Toledo, Ohio and Mary Sue Davidson of Eddyville; two grandsons; two step grandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Tribble; and her father, William Baldwin.
Funeral services were Oct. 20 at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville. Rev. Charles Hatfield and Rev. Steve McVay officiated. Burial was in Rolling Hills Cemetery in Eddyville.

Willoughby
JACKSON, Mich. ­ Hazel I. Kirk Willoughby, 79, died Oct. 9, 2004.
She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Jackson.
Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Oliver "Burt" Willoughby; a daughter, Sherri McCumber of Jackson; a son, Ronnie Willoughby, also of Jackson; a sister, Betty Owen of Frances; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lacy and Dalpha Kirk of Frances; a twin brother; and three sisters.
Funeral services and burial were Oct. 11 in Jackson.
