Ruth Travis, 80, of Marion, died Sept. 23, 2004 at her home. She was a lifelong member of Caldwell Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Keith Travis of Fredonia and Dennis Travis of Marion; a sister, Shirley Reed of Princeton; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Travis; a son, Ray Travis; a grandson, Mickey Travis; and one brother.
Services were Sept. 25 at Caldwell Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Shoney Oliver officiating. Burial was in Caldwell Springs Cemetery. Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Riddle
EDDYVILLE, Ky. Funeral services for Sue Riddle, 59, will be at 2 p.m., Sept. 30, 2004 at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville. Rev. Walzie Hosick will officiate. Burial will be in Dycusburg Cemetery.
Riddle was a former employee in the window-making department of Aluma Craft in Paducah and was a member wof Tyner Chapel in Livingston County.
She died Sept. 28 at her home.
Surviving are three sons, Bobby Riddle of Smithland, Richard Riddle of Sharp and Mark Riddle of Crittenden County; two daughters, Candy Matthews of Dycusburg and Kathy Kinnis of Eddyville; her mother, Nellie Marie Hust Johnson of Dycuburg; three brothers, Randall Johnson of Burbank, Calif., Jimmy Johnson of Crittenden County, and Dickie Johnson of Basket, Ky.; two sisters, Wilma McCalvaine of Tenn., and Peggy Johnson of Crittenden County; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded ind eath by a brother, Silas Johnson; and her father, Everett Aubrey "A.J." Johnson.
Doom
SMITHLAND, Ky. Funeral services for Patricia Doom, 69, were Sept. 28, 200r at Smith Funeral Chapel. Rev. C.W. Barnhill officiated. Burial was in Leeper Cemetery.
Doom died Sept. 25 at her home.
She is survived by three daughters, Linda Tincher of Jackson, Miss., Gail Miller of New Boston, Miss., and Mickie Jewett of Smithland; a brother, Eldon Humble of Westland, Miss.; and Ruth Morris of Flatrock, Miss.; three grandchildren.
Asbridge
BELLVILLE, Ill. Allen G. Asbridge, Sr., 76, formerly of Salem, died Sept. 26, 2004 at Lincoln Nursing Home. He was a member of Loveless Chapel Churc;.
Surviving are a son, Allen Asbridge, Jr., of Salem; a daughter, Christine Hamann of Belleville; a brother, Roni Asbridge of Marion; two sisters, Mary Asbridge of Belleville and Thelma Martin of Marion; several nieces and nephews; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mable Thurman Asbridge; two brothers; a sister; and his parents, Allie Asbridge and Christine Lewis Asbridge.
Funeral services were Sept. 29 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Fouts officiating. Burial was in Loveless Chapel Cemetery.
Arflack
RIDGEWAY, Ill. Ena Hughes Ford Arflack, formerly of Marion, died Sept. 25, 2004 at Ridgeway Manor Nursing Home. She was aof the Jehova Witness Faith.
Graveside services were Sept. 27 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Crittenden County.
Surviving are a daughter, Donna Orr of Marion; a granddaughter, Melia Lauren Orr of Marion; two stepdaughters, Betty Loveless and Mary Evelyn Black, both of Salem; and two stepsons, Clifton Arflack and Robert Arflack, also of Salem.
She was preceded n death by her husband, Fred Arflack; and her parents, Sherman G. Ford and Lily Hughes Ford.

Odom
OWENSBORO, Ky. Maxine Odom, 82, formerly of Paducah, died Sept. 20, 2004 at Bon Harbor Nursing Home. She was a member of Heartland Worship Center.
She is survived by a son, Edwin Odom of Paducah; three sisters, Louise Moore of Gilbertsville, Melva Moreland of Perkin, Ill., and Geraldene Dickerson of Paducah; two brothers, Deward Lawless of Michigan, Guy Lawless of Reidland and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Sept. 23 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Don Young officiating. Burial is in Carrsville Cemetery.
Sweeney
PRINCETON, Ky. Euell Sweeney, 90, died Sept. 20, 2004 at Hilltop Nursing Home in Kuttawa. He was of Christian faith and a member of the Elks, Masons and Shriners.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Sept. 23 at Morgan's Funeral Home.
Surviving are two sons, Wayne Sweeney of Hanahan, S.C., and Don Sweeney of Redland, Calif; five daughters, Shirley Konen of Scottsdale, Ariz., Saundra Brookshire of Marion, Annie Lockhart of Princeton, Christine "Mickey" Rogers of Louisville and Sue Myers of Daytona Beach, Fla.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Euell Edwin "Ed" Sweeney; and three brothers.
Wilson
BURNA, Ky. Funeral services for Carl C. Wilson, 78, were Sept. 18, 2004 at Boyd Funeral Home. Rev. Jerry Thurman, Rev. Dennis Wynn and Rev. A.C. Hodge officiated. Burial was in Old Salem Cemetery.
Sweeney died Sept. 15 at his home. He was a member of Old Salem Baptist Church and Salem Masonic Lodge No. 81. He was a pipefitter and ironworker who retired from B.F. Goodrich Co.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Vaughn Wilson of Burna; two sons, Lynn Wilson and Larry Wilson, both of Paducah; a brother, Dean Wilson of Burna; a sister, Beverly Johnson of Salem; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, U.B. and Katie B. Ramage Wilson; a son, Terry Wilson; and a brother, Ernest C. WIlson.

Fowler
RENO, Nev. Katherine Teer Fowler, 80, died Sept. 19, 2004. She was a native of Crittenden County.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Fowler of Reno; three sisters, Birdie Farmer, Helen Cullen and Betty Tabor, all of Marion; two brothers, Forrest Fowler of Robards and Tom Fowler of Marion; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Fowler; two sons, Randy Fowler and Greg Fowler; three brothers, James Teer, Glenn Teer and R.C. Teer. Her parents were Thomas Ed and Gussie Teer.
Burial will be at a later date in Oakwood Memorial Park in Chatsworth, Calif.
Belt
Percy R. "Sam" Belt, 80, of Marion, died Sept. 19, 2004 at Western Baptist Hospital. He was a member, deacon and Sunday school teacher at Repton Baptist Church and was a World War II Army veteran.
Funeral services were Sept. 22 at Repton Baptist Church with burial in Rosebud Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Brown and Rev. Kenny Odom officiated.
Surviving are two sons, Percy K. Belt of Hopkinsville and Dave Allen Belt of Marion; two daughters, Leta Elaine Harris of Florence, Ala., and Dixie Watson of Marion; a sister, Bernice Woodall of Evansville; a brother, Edwin Belt of Marion; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Lois Belt; a daughter, Judith K. Singleton; a sister; and nine brothers.

Jennings
SALEM, Ky. Geraldene "Jerry" Jennings, 74, died Sept. 16, 2004 at Livingston Hospital. She was of Methodist faith.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Clarence Jennings of Salem; two sons, Michael Jennings of Grand Rivers and Roger Jennings of West Plains, Mo.; a brother, Rue Burns of Smithland; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a step grandchild.
Her parents were Willie Burns and Clara Thompson Burns.
Funeral services were Sept. 19 at Boyd Funeral Home. Rev. C.W. Barnhill officiated. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery.
