Funeral services for Morris W. Sisco, 70, of Marion, were Aug. 16, 2004 at Boyd Funeral Home. Rev. Hardin Hosey officiated. Burial was in Salem Cemetery.
Sisco passed away Aug. 13 at Crittenden Hospital. He was a member of Deer Creek Baptist Church. He served two years in Germany while in the U.S. Army. He was an equipment operator until he retired in 1976 and returned to Kentucky.
Surviving are three sisters, Evalean Curnel of Salem, Shirley Dalton of Kevil and Dorothy Guill of Marion; a brother, Charles Sisco of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Edward Sisco, W.T. "Cobbie" Sisco, James Sisco and Alvie Sisco. His parents were Roy Ben Sisco and Rosa J. Waters Sisco.
Hunt
STILWELL, Kan. Mary Sybil Hunt, 84, formerly of Marion, passed away Aug. 16, 2004 at Beautiful Savior Nursing Home in Belton, Mo. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Church and was vice president of the Crittenden County Genealogical and Historical Societies.
Surviving are a daughter, Mildred Rogers of Overland Park, Kan.; two sisters, Carolyn Gordon of Bowling Green and Pensy Strickland; a brother, Samuel Morrow of Lilian, Ala.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Shorty Hunt; and her parents, Samuel H. and Ruth Morrow.
Funeral services were Aug. 20 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. David Davis and Rev. Jack Dodson officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Elliott
STATESVILLE, N.C. Mary Lou Slayden Elliott, 87, formerly of Lola, passed away Aug. 21 at her home. She was a member of Van Wyck Presbyterian Church in Van Wyck, S.C.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Kathryn E. Howard of Statesville; and a son, Kenneth Wayne Elliott of Van Wyck; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wayne Elliott; a brother; and two sisters.
Graveside services were Aug. 25 at Lola Cemetery with Rev. Dean Atchison officiating.
Gipson
CHEYENNE, Wyo. Funeral services for Susan Denise Gipson, 38, formerly of Marion, passed away Dec. 7, 2003.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday at Love Cemetery. Gilbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are her father, Stanley Gipson of Grand Rivers; her mother, Marilyn Shewmaker of Marion; two brothers, Michael Gipson and Gregory Allen Gipson, both of Grand Rivers; a sister, Loretta Sill of Murray; a daughter, Deavon Lewis of Paducah; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Wilson
NEWBURGH, Ind. Ellis W. Wilson, 78, formerly of Lola, passed away Aug. 18, 2004 at Woodlands Convalescent Center. He was a member of the Light of Faith Free Pentecostal Church in Evansville.
Funeral services were Aug. 21 at Boyd Funeral Home with Bro, Loyd Shuecraft and Bro. Barry Paddock officiating. Burial was in Lola Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Wilson of Central City; two daughters, Sheila Wilson and Michele Claycomb, both of Evansville; a son, Anthony Wilson of Evansville; a sister, Merna Monroe of Evansville; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Lasher
SALEM, Ky. Sidney Lasher, 82, passed away Aug. 24, 2004 at Salem Springlake Care Center.
He was a member of Hampton United Methodist Church and the Crittenden-Livingston Water District board.

Campbell
ROMEOVILLE, Ill. Eleanor L. Campbell, 76, passed away Aug. 1, 2004.
She is survived by her husband, Marlon Campbell; four daughters, Katherine Maddie, Lynn Kuiken, Tammy Dempsey and Kelli Cannell; two brothers, Harold McClelland and Alex Joseph McClelland; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Katherine Dougherty McClelland; a sister, Ileane Bails; and a grandchild.
Funeral services were Aug. 5 at Anderson Memorial Chapel in Romeoville, Ill.
Patton
Mary Elizabeth Beavers Patton, 87, of Marion, passed away Aug. 24, 204 at Crittenden Hospital. She was a member of Mexico Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Creed Beavers of Marion; two daughters, Joyce Beavers Dinsmore of Marion and Mary Beavers Stroud of Clinton; a sister, Louise Wright of Princeton; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Forrest Beavers; her second husband, Carlton Patton; two brothers; and a sister.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Aug. 27 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Burdon will officiate. Burial will be in Mexico Cemetery.

Brinkley
EVANSVILLE, Ind. Hazel B. Brinkley, 81, passed away Aug. 17, 2004 at Deaconess Hospital. She was pianist at Morganfield First Baptist Church for 40 years and taught Sunday school and held other positions in the church for several years.
Brinkley earned a bachelor of music degree and masters in education from Murray State University. She taught English and music for 39 years at Union County High School, Crittenden County High School and Campbellsville College.
Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Ann Brinkley of Morganfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Coleman Brinkley. Her parents were Roscoe and Lena Babb.
Funeral services were Aug. 19 at First Baptist Church in Morganfield. Rev. Mark Galloway officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery in Webster County.

Callendar
BURNA, Ky. Edna M. Callendar, 98, passed away Aug. 11, 2004 at Superior Care Center in Princeton.
She was a member of Dyer Hill Baptist Church and was a retired school teacher.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Callendar; three brothers; and a sister.
Graveside services were Aug. 14 at Dyer Hill Cemetery. Rev. Randy Beals officiated.
