BENSON, N.C. - Jon Morrison Hall, 64, passed away Jan. 2, 2005 at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m., Jan. 15 at St. Mary's Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Aubrey Williamson and Rev. Frank McCallum officiating.
Hall was raised in Lyon County.
He was a member of St. Mary's Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church, served in the U.S. Air Force, operated a Pizza Inn, was a professional bass fisherman and was a home construction contractor.
Surviving are his wife, Margurite Jones Hall; a son, Ronald "Ron" Wade Hall of Four Oaks, N.C.; a daughter, Pamela Kay Smith of Garner, N.C.; a brother, Billy R. Hall of Brownsville, Ore.; three sisters, Sue Mills of Paducah, Nira McCallum of Marion and Sarah Woody of Paducah; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Marvin Walter and Bernice Dean Mize Hall; and a brother, Daryl Hall.

Wadlington
SALEM, Ky. - Roy Wadlington, 65, passed away Dec. 21, 2004 at Western Baptist Hospital.
Services were Dec. 27, 2004 at Boyd's Funeral Home. Rev. E.J. Hatton officiated. Burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Surviving are a son, Gary Haney of Salem; a brother, Walter Wadlington of Alabama; a sister, Mary Woodall of Marion; one granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lewis and Linnie Rushing Wadlington; four sisters; and three brothers.
Hise
ELDORADO, Ill. Aundean Hise, 87, passed away Jan. 1, 2004 at Ferrell Hospital.
She was born in Marion, was a member of Omaha Nazarene Church, was a Ladies Aid Hostess and active in the Omaha Senior Citizens.
Surviving are a daughter, Rita J. Hise of Salem, Ore.; three sons, Kenneth W. Hise of Washington, Ill., Eldon G. Hise of Eldorado, Ill., and George M. Hise of Ridgway, Ill.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John F. Paris and Alma Crayne Paris; her husband, Glen Hise; a daughter, Margaret Hise; a son, Bertis R. Hise; and a brother, Ellis Paris.
Funeral services were held Jan. 4 at Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway with Rev. Gary Clark and Rev. Steven Wolf officiating.
Burial was in Jackson Cemetery in Ridgway.
Mitchell
SALEM, Ky. Funeral services for Geneva N. Mitchell, 96, were held Dec. 31, 2003 at Boyd Funeral Home in Salem.
Rev. Robert E. Phillips officiated.
Burial was in New Union (Ditney) Church Cemetery.
Mitchell passed away Dec. 28 at Livingston Hospital.
She was a member of New Union (Ditney) Church.
Surviving are a son, Jimmie R. Mitchell of Smithland; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim B. Mitchell; a daughter, Janell Hardin; three sisters; and her parents, John S. and Mollie Tharp Curnel.
Prowell
PRINCETON, Ky. Teresa Prowell, 46, passed away Dec. 26, 2003 at her home.
Funeral services were Dec. 29 at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton.
Rev. David Brown officiated. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Prowell was a member of the Way Station Church in Eddyville.
She is survived by her father, J.W. DeBoe of Tampa, Fla.; her mother, Janet Baker Smith of Caldwell County; a son, Jerret Prowell of Marion; a daughter, Randi Noel of Princeton; a grandmother, Izetta Baker of Princeton; a grandfather, Ernest Baker of Princeton; two brothers, Corey Wiggington of Nashville; Jeffey Wayne Wiggington of Carrollton, Ga.; and a granddaughter.
Davidson
Elaine Davidson, 88, of Marion, passed away Dec. 27, 2003 at Crittenden Hospital.
She was a member of Union Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Betty Mitchell of Burna and Laura Rushing of Smithland; a brother, Maurice Alsobrook of Shelby, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Davidson; a son; and her parents, Leffel and Ethel Phillips Alsobrook.
Funeral services were Dec. 28 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. A.C. Hodge officiating.
Burial was in Union Cemetery.
Robertson
John E. Robertson, 84, of Marion, passed away Dec. 25, 2003 at Crittenden Hospital.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher for many years.
He was a retired crane operator, working at Ingram Steel for 42 years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in World War II where he earned a Purple Heart.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Robertson of Marion; three stepsons, Norris Watson of Oakland City, Ind., Jack Reynolds of Evansville and Richard Reynolds of Hopkinsville; and several nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alta Robertson; his parents, John R. and Amanda Robertson; three brothers; and three sisters.
Funeral services were held Dec. 28 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Waters officiating.
Burial was in Salem Cemetery.
Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

ST. STEPHEN, S.C. Merlon Leon Offtor, Jr., formerly of Livingston County, passed away Dec. 16, 2003 at his home.
He was retired from the U.S. Navy.
Burial was in Whispering Pines memorial Gardens in Goosecreek, S.C.
He is survived by a sister, Milodean Skinner of Marion; a nephew; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Offtor; and his parents, Merlon Leo Offtor, Sr., and Marie Duvall Offtor Dunn.
He was the grandson of the late Percy and Meacy Duvall and the nephew of the late L.N. Duvall.
Adams
Anna Christine Adams, 95, of Marion, passed away Dec. 24, 2003 at Crittenden Hospital.
Surviving are two nephews, James Minner of Fisher, Ind., and Charles W. Gass of Evansville; and a niece, Helen Mitchell of Carmi, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Wallace Adams; and two sisters.
Her parents were Thomas and Nona Lamb.
Funeral services were Dec. 27 at Gilbert Funeral Home.
Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
