Services were Dec. 20 at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial in Mapleview Cemetery. Rev. Bill McCormick officiated.
Surviving are a brother, William R. Heines of Marion; a niece and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Walker; and a sister.
Jones
GRAND RIVERS, Ky. - Chester Jones, 92, passed away Dec. 15, 2005 at Salem Springlake Health and Rehab. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Funeral services were Dec. 18 at Smith Funeral Chapel. Rev. C.C. Brasher and Rev. Brent Lee officiated. Burial was in Landrum cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Minnie Jones; two sons, James Jones of Smithland and Lee Jones of Grand Rivers; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dudley and Bessie Jones; and a brother, Forest Jones.
McDowell
Cleo McDowell, 73, of Marion, passed away Dec. 17, 2005 at Western Baptist Hospital. He was a member of Repton Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Louise McDowell of Marion; five sons, Michael McDowell, Perry McDowell, Mark McDowell and David McDowell, all of Marion and Wayne McDowell of Henderson; three sisters, Vada Duncan of Marion, Peggy McDowell of Tulsa, Okla., and Polly Chandler of Sturgis; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services were Dec. 19 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Roger Waters officiated. Burial was in Crowell Cemetery.
Driver
PORTAGE, Ind. - Clifton Garth Driver, Sr., 64, passed away Dec. 17, 2005 at the Canterbury Place Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Valparaiso, Ind. He was the owner and operator of Driver & Son Concrete.
He is survived by 13 children, Clifton (Kim) Driver Jr. of Lake Station, Ind., Greg (Barb) Driver of Portage, Ind., Jeff (Karen) Driver of Murray, Terry Driver of Portage, Ind., Belinda (Tony) Campbell of Fredonia, Shana (Jeff) Duncan of Henderson, Tammy Driver of Marion, Shandra (Tommy) Williams of Marion, Garth Clifton (Kristi) Driver of Portage, Ind., Lucas Parish of Marion, Ill., Randy (Tammy) Cowsert of Marion, Candy (Stony) Mills of Marion and Carol Thomas of Marion; 39 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers, Ralph (Ronna) Driver of Knox, Ind., Faron (Tabitha) Driver of North Judson, Ind., Kamen Driver of Murray; six sisters, Dean Neighbors of Murray Viva (Charles) Tinsley of Hopkinsville, Brenda (Mike) Davis of Old Hickory, Tenn., Starr (Tom) Lewellyn of Murray, Rebecca Conger of Marion and Detra (Jerry) Campbell of Marion; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy Ryan Driver; and four sisters, Verna Driver, Thelma Sexton, Glyna Sanders and Gloria Blackmon. His parents were Allie Ray and Nellie Gladys (Knight) Driver.
Funeral services were Dec. 21 at the Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, Portage, Ind. Burial was in McCool Cemetery in Portage.
A local memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Dec. 31 at Hebron Baptist Church in Lyon County.
Donations may be made to the Hebron Church Cemetery Fund.
Jones
SALEM, Ky. - Services for Aubrey Radcliffe Jones, 92, were Dec. 21, 2005 at Boyd Funeral Home. Burial was in Paradise Cemetery.
Jones, a member of Paradise United Methodist Church, passed away Dec. 10 at his home.
Surviving are three daughters, Elsa Irene Moore of Mesquite, Texas, Ruby Lee Reeves of Decatur, Texas and Stella Mae Jones of Salem; a son, Clifton L. Jones of Mesquite, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle M. Dinsmore Jones; five brothers; and two sisters. His parents were Robert Lee and Amanda Johnson Jones.

Katherine Sue Jones, 52, of Marion, passed away Dec. 15, 2005 at Crittenden Hospital. She was a member and co-pastor at Miracle Word Church in Salem.
Surviving are her husband, William "Billy" Jones of Marion; two daughters, Dana (Mike) Doom and Kayla Jones, both of Marion; her mother, Edna Evelyn Wilson of Salem; a brother, Blan Wilson, Jr., of Sharpe; three sisters, Mona Gay Swinford of Frankfort, Lois Rhea chittenden of Lola and Darlene Hunter of Salem; and a granddaughter, Callie Doom of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her father, Blan Wilson, Sr,; a sister; and a brother.
Services were Dec. 17 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Baldock officiating. Burial was in White Chapel Cemetery.
Hart
MORGANFIELD, Ky. - Mary Virginia Hart, 81, passed away Dec. 15, 2005 at New Harmonie Healthcare in New Harmony, Ind. Services were Dec. 17 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. Rev. Frank McCallum officiated. Burial was in Odd Fellow Cemetery in Morganfield.
She was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Morganfield.
Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Walter of Evansville and Kay Greenwell of Uniontown; a son, Keith Hart of Marion; a sister, Margaret Stone of Sturgis; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.G. Hart; two brothers, William Harness and Fred Harness, Jr.; and two sisters, Emma McGree and Dorothy Murrell.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Gilland
Ola Mae Gilland, 84, of Marion, passed away Dec. 10, 2005 at Crittenden Health and Rehab. She was a member of Piney Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Carolyn (Harold) Cannon of Marion, Ola Rhea Crider of Marion, Elaine (Ronnie) Shinall of Marion and Connie Gilland of Fredonia*; three sons, Vernon (Linda) Gilland of Fredonia, Paul Gilland of Fredonia and Dwight Gilland of Paducah.; 12 grandchildren, Kim George, Suzanne Eberle, Gina Brown, Greg Crider, Tricia Gage, Jonathan Gilland, Rhonda Shinall, Keith Shinall, Jayson Gilland, Michael Gilland, Patrick Gilland and Jennifer Starnes; several great-grandchildren; several step grandchildren and several step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Gilland; a daughter, Faye George; and two granddaughters, Lori Perkins and Carol Ann Hughes. Her parents were Charles and Lillie Mae Barnes.
Funeral services were Dec. 12 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Cortis Hill and Rev. Tim Burdon officiated. Burial was in Mexico Cemetery.

Gilland
FREDONIA, Ky. - Funeral services for Connie Gilland, 55, will be held at 11 a.m., Dec. 16, 2005 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Cortis Hill and Rev. Curtis Franklin officiating. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery in Lyon County.
Gilland passed away Dec. 14 at Crittenden Health Systems.
Surviving are a son, Jayson (Teresa) Gilland; three sisters, Carolyn (Harold) Cannon, Ola Rhea Crider and Elaine (Ronnie) Shinall, all of Marion; three brothers, Vernon (Linda) Gilland and Paul Gilland, both of Fredonia and Dwight Gilland of Paducah; two grandchildren, Dakota Gilland, Alyssa Gilland; three step-grandchildren, Nikki Odom, Nathan Odom and Natalie Odom; two step great-grandchildren, Nolan Odom and Hannah Posten.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Faye George; and her parents, Ray and Mae Gilland.
Byler
Barbara N. Byler, 76, of the Amish community in Crittenden County, passed away Dec. 12, 2005 at her home.
Surviving are four daughters, Alta Miller, Cora Miller and Sarah Byler, all of Marion, and Emma Miller of Dover, Del; seven sons, Joseph Byler of Dover, Del., Allen Byler, Enoch Byler and Marvin Byler, all of Fredonia, Penn., Rudy Byler of Charlotte Mich., David Byler of Marion and Paul Byler of Wyoming, Del.; 87 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9 a.m., Dec. 16 at David R. Byler's residence in the Amish community. Burial will be in the Amish Community Cemetery.
Drennan
Hazel C. Drennan, 82, of Marion, passed away Dec. 11, 2005 at Crittenden Hospital. She was a charter member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Services were Dec. 13 at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Rev. Tim Baker and Rev. Rob Ison officiated. Burial was in Sugar Grove Cemetery. Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are a daughter, Winona Woodside of Marion; a son, Roger Drennan of Marion; a sister, Betty Teague of Providence; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Drennan; a son, David W. Drennan; and her parents, Elmer and Letha Gold.
