Cleo Hughes, 95, of Marion, passed away Dec. 3, 2005 at Crittenden Health and Rehab. She was a member of Piney Fork Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a son, Charles Hughes of Evansville; two sisters, Annie Duke Lanham of Weirsdale, Fla., and Lavern Davidson of Detroit, Mich.; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clem and Nora Moran and her husband, Earnest Hughes.
Graveside services were Dec. 6 at Mapleview Cemetery. Rev. Cortis Hill officiated. Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pyse
ERIE, Ill. - Vernon Pyse, 78, passed away Nov. 27, 2005 at Mercy Medical Center in Clinton. Services will be Dec. 1 at the Erie Christian Church where he was an active member. Burial will be in Erie Cemetery. Gibson Funeral Home in Erie is in charge of arrangements.
Pyse served in the U.S. Navy and owned and operated Morrison Cattle Company in Erie and in Crittenden County for over 40 years.
Survivors include four daughters, Diana Beck of Galesburg, Ill., Debbie Pyse of Falmouth, Jody DeBow of Erie and Julie Vaughn of Prophetstown, Ill.; three sons, John Pyse, Jamie Pyse and Jeremie Pyse, all of Erie, Ill.; three sisters, Vernabelle Klosterman of Sterling, Phyllis Siperly of Rock Falls and Marilyn Malmanger of De Witte, Iowa; his first wife Betty Dobbers; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his second wife, Bonnie; a daughter, Jeanne; a grandson David and two brothers. His parents were Fred and Margaret Buikema Pyse.
Millikan
MARENGO, Ill. - Services for Mally Marie Millikan, 18, will e at 2 p.m., Dec. 3 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Bro. Gordon Holland will officiate. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery.
Millikan passed away Nov. 25.
Surviving are her parents, Robert Clifford and Sally Shacklee Millikan of Marengo; three brothers, Michael Millikan of Henderson, Mark Millikan and Max Millikan, both of Marengo; her grandparents, Mildred Shacklee of Marengo and Thelma Millikan of Marion; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by grandparents William "Bill" Shacklee and James "Buster" Millikan.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Carla Rose Longee Hughes, 35, passed away Nov. 26, 2005. Arrangements are incomplete at Boyd's Funeral Home.
Surviving are her mother, Verlynn F. Longee of Wapato, Wash.; her husband, Keith Hughes; foster parents Bill and RoseAnn Davis and Debra Milligan of Montana; four daughters, Cassandra "Cassie" Ann Hughes, Katherine "Katie" Rose Hughes, Gabrielle Lauren Hughes and Marrylynn Lee Hughes, all of Marion; four brothers, Eugene A. Longee, Patrick W. Longee Mitchell, Robert G. Longee and Errol W. Longee; three sisters, Kimberly D. Longee, Elsie E. Longee and Tashina F. Longee.
She was preceded in death by her father, Aaron G. Martin; two brothers, Michael R. Longee Mitchell and Aaron J. Longee; and grandparents William Howard Taff Longee and Elsie L. Lone.
Winters
Funeral services for Nora Helen Winters, 81, of Marion, were Nov. 30, 2005 at Gilbert Funeral Home. She passed away Nov. 27 at Salem Springlake Health and Rehab.
She is survived by two sons, Rev. Larry Yates and Rev. Wayne Winters, both of Marion; a sister, Frankie McDonald of Princeton; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Harley and Irene Gass Kirk; and her husband, William L. Winters.
Watson
LOLA, Ky. - Pearl Myrick Watson, 94, passed away Nov. 24, 2005 at River's Bend Retirement Community in Kuttawa. She attended Lola Pentecostal Church.
Services were Nov. 27 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Fouts officiating. Burial was in Lola Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, James A. Myrick of Salem; two sisters, Christine Shewcraft of Marion and Muriel Roach of Salem; three grandchildren, Tracy Myrick of Lola, Linda Brooks of Smithland and Sherry Lanning of Lola; three great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Brooks and Kristin Brooks of Smithland and Chad McCormick of Salem.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alvin Myrick; her second husband, Harry Wayne Watson; a son, Paul G. Myrick; and a sister, Eddylean Riley. Her parents were George Kimsey and Bertha Adams Kimsey.
Linzy
STURGIS, Ky. - Services for Roger Linzy, 84, were Nov. 26, 2005 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Sister Lucy Tedrick officiated. Burial was in Dycusburg Cemetery.
Linzy was a member of the Frances Liberty Lodge No. 580, was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of the Crittenden County Lions Club, a lifelong member of the Republican party, was former chairman of the Crittenden County Republican Party and was of Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie Gilland Linzy; three daughters, Linda Asbridge of Salem, Becky Linzy of Paducah and Amanda McMain of Marion; four sons, Roger Dale Linzy of Americus, Ga., David Linzy of Salem, Steve Linzy of Sullivan and Timothy Linzy of Murray; three sisters, Mary LeFan and June Heffington, both of Dycusburg and Juanita Green of Kuttawa; two brothers, Lafe Linzy of Marion and Jerry Linzy of Evansville; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother; a sister; and his parents, Ray and Vada Ralston Linzy.
Elder
Una Louise Elder, 92, of Marion, passed away Nov. 25, 2005 at Crittenden County Health and Rehab. She was a member of Crayne Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Ruby Barfield of Marion and Ruth Foster of Royal Oak, Mich.; a stepdaughter, Carolyn Harris of Pine Bluff, Ark.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Melvin Clement Bigham; her husband, Shelton Elder; a brother; and two sisters.
Services were Nov. 27 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Cortis Hill and Rev. Harvey Lynn Elder officiated. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Marshall
LEDBETTER, Ky. - Beverly L. Marshall, 39, passed away Nov. 24, 2005.
She was a cook for Tennessee Valley Towing Co.
Surviving are her mother, Louise Marshall of Ledbetter; three sisters, Linda Marshall of Ledbetter, Betty Faye Little of Desoto, Mo., and Martha Wilke of Belknap, Ill.; a brother, Bob Marshall of Salem; seven nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tilford L. Marshall.
Services were Nov. 27 at Boyd Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Grimes officiated. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Martin
PRINCETON, Ky. - Mary Martin, 85, passed away Nov. 29, 2005 at Caldwell County Hospital. She was a retired nurse and member of Highland Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Jim Martin of Henderson and Bill Martin of Booneville, Ind.; two daughters, June Stone of Henderson and Pat Johnson of Princeton; a sister, Margaret Mills of Sun City, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Martin. Her parents were Snowden and Amma Robinson Davis.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Dec. 1 at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will be in Blackford Cemetery in Webster County.
Turley
KUTTAWA, Ky. - Wanda Turley, 62, passed away Nov. 23, 2005 at Lourdes Hospital. She was a member of Seven Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Pamela Ruth Walker of Grand Rivers; a son, Rusty Doom of Dycusburg; two brothers, Robert Blake of Eddyville and Ronald Blake of Marion; a sister, Mechelle Little of Fayetteville, Tenn., and her fiance, Harold Knight of Kuttawa.
She was preceded in death by a son, James M. Doom; a sister, Cheryl Blake; and her parents, Omen and Ruby Blake.
Services were Nov. 26 at Seven Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Lonnie Knight and Rev. Robert Blake officiating. Burial was in Asbridge Cemetery.
