Banks passed away Oct. 18 at Crittenden Hospital.
Surviving are a son, Ronald Banks of Eddyville; three sisters, Gladys Riley and Effie Nell Paris, both of Marion, and Lemma Walker of Pacific, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Banks; her longtime companion John Hobbs; five sisters; three brothers; and her parents, Millie and Otis Harnice.
Millikan
James C. "Clem" Millikan, 50, of Marion passed away Oct. 23, 2005 at Salem Springlake Care Center. Services were Oct. 25 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Donnie Howton officiated with burial in Frances Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Hazel Millikan of Marion; three sons, Eddie Millikan, Wayne Millikan and Thomas Millikan, all of Marion; a brother, Willie Millikan of Export, Penn.; six sisters, Kay Jacobs of Frances, Brenda Millikan, Rita Lynch, Patricia Sysco, Donna Herron and Dana Berry, all of Marion; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Al James and Mary Kathryn Millikan; and a granddaughter, Miracle Faith Angel Millikan.
DeMoss
MADISONVILLE, Ky. - Hiram Glenn DeMoss, 52, passed away Oct. 23, 2005. He was a maintenance foreman for Peabody Coal Company for many years.
He is survived by a daughter, Alisha DeMoss of Cincinnati, Ohio; four sisters, Patricia DeMoss of Evansville, Gail DeMoss, Sharon Harper and Karen LeGrand, all of Madisonville; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hiram Taylor and Willie Hazel Coffman DeMoss.
Services were Oct. 25 at Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Williams
CLAY, Ky. - Betty Sharon Williams, 64, passed away Oct. 11, 2005 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Clay and had recently been employed by the Webster County Public Library. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Bob Williams; a daughter, Rene Williams (Brent Green); a son, Rodney (Tracy) Williams of Bowling Green; her mother, Louise Overfield of Clay; three sisters, Brenda (Paul) Harvey of Clay, Dianne (Larry) Kuykendall of Clay, Carol (Terry) Turner of Dixon; a brother, Stan Overfield of Clay; and five grandchildren, Ryan Boles, Ellie Green, Natalie Green, Kendra Williams, Johnathan Williams and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lank Overfield.
Funeral services were Oct. 15 at First Baptist Church in Clay with burial in New Clay Cemetery. Vanover Funeral Home in Clay was in charge of arrangements.

Rentfro
Dorothy Rentfro, 77, of Marion, passed away Oct. 17, 2005 at her home. She was a member of Marion United Methodist Church and the Crittenden Health Systems Auxiliary.
Surviving are a daughter, Deborah (Danny) Fowler of Marion; a granddaughter, Brandy (Mike) Whitney of Marion; two step grandsons, Aaron Fowler and Joseph Fowler, both of Marion; and a great-granddaughter, Abby Whitney of Marion.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Bob Workman, Ed Workman, John Workman and Bill Workman; two sisters, Kittie Lucas and Mary Fox; and her parents, Carl and Iva Myrick Workman.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Oct. 20 at Boyd Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Garvey will officiate with burial in Lola Cemetery.

Gillespie
Margie J.Gillespie, 87, of Marion, passed away Oct. 13, 2005 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah. She was a member of Repton Baptist Church and a life member of the VFW Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband, Frank Gillespie of Marion; three daughters, Helen McConnell, Sue McDowell and Carolyn Hinchee, all of Marion; 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Her parents were William F. and Mary Ann Winders.
Services were Oct. 15 at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Brown officiated.
Rushing
KENOSHA, Wisc. - William Robert Rushing, 67, formerly of Crayne, did Oct. 12, 2005 at his home. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force, serving in Vietnam. He was also retired from Rustoleum.
Survivors include a daughter, Anna Dora Rushing of Hartwell, Ga.; three sons, Robert Eugene Rushing and Timothy William Campbell, both of Kissimmee, Fla., and William Robert Rushing, Jr., of Hartwell, Ga.; a brother, Paul Ray Rushing of Marion; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jonas Randall and Annie Ona Smith Rushing; three brothers; and a sister.
Services were Oct. 16, 2005 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Odom officiating. Burial was in Crayne Cemetery.
Woodward
Freda Woodward, 85, of Marion, passed away Oct. 10, 2005 at Crittenden County Health and Rehab. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Mike Woodward of Sullivan; a daughter, Teresa Hamilton of Owensboro; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Nellie Brantley; her husband, Shirley Ray Woodward; and a daughter, Linda Berry.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Oct. 13 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Noble Cobb officiating. Burial will be in Rosebud Cemetery.
Robinson
Funeral services for Betty J. Robinson, 70, of Marion were held Oct. 12, 2005 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Alexander and Rev. Nicky Davis officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Robinson passed away Oct. 9 at Salem Springlake Care Center. She attended Marion General Baptist Church.
Surviving are a sister, Debbie Peek of Eddyville; a brother, Jerry Shaffer of Bowling Green; a niece, nephew and great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Robinson. Her parents were Muriel and Lizzie Shaffer.
Scott
Ann Rose Scott, 66, of Marion, passed away Oct. 6, 2005 at Crittenden Hospital. Funeral services were Oct. 10 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Holliman officiating. Burial was in Whites Chapel Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, Otis Scott of Marion; a son, Jim Hughes of Wansuter, Wyom.; three daughters, Janet Dubois of Guthrie, Okla., Karla Hughes Brehm of Wansutter, Wyom., and Abbie Anderson of Minco, Okla.; her mother, Onia Marshall of Marion; two stepsons, Larry Scott of Sapulpa, Okla.; David Scott of Little Rock, Ark.; four sisters, Eava Hutchinson of Las Vegas; Roberta Barnett of Blackwell, Okla., Rita Qualiman of Chicago and Bonnie Jackson of Bakersfield, Calif.; two brothers Harold Marshall and Jerry Marshall of Marion; six grandchildren; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Marshall; three brothers; and a sister.
Rushing
FREDONIA, Ky. - Howard L. Rushing, 73, passed away Oct. 6, 2005 at his home. He was a retired coal miner and attended Charity Baptist Church in Lyon County.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Stiller Rushing; six sons, Bobby Rushing and Daniel Rushing, both of Marion, Ronald Rushing, Joe Rushing and Howard Rushing, all of Fredonia, Charlie Rushing of Princeton; four daughters, Debra Rushing of Louisville, Cindy Waters of Eddyville, Doreen Rushing of Morganfield and Dana Hill of Eddyville; two brothers, James Rushing of Henderson and Spud Rushing of New Albany, Ind.; a sister, Etha Fraliex of Fredonia; and several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Rushing. His parents were Joe A. Rushing and Alie Holloman Rushing.
Services were Oct. 8 at Morgan's Funeral Home. Rev. Roger Waters and Rev. Victor Hill officiated. Burial was in Crayne Cemetery.
