FAIRFIELD, Ill. - Frances J. Galiher, 76, passed away Sept. 5, 2005 at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Mt. Vernon. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Sept. 9 at Nales Funeral Home in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, Weldon Galiher; a daughter, Sandra Dawsey of Browns, Ill.; a brother, Charles Dalton of Fairfield; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gary; four brothers; a sister; and her parents, Jesse S. Dalton and Grace Pearl Riley.
Lowery
Funeral services for Nellie Lowery, 89, of Marion, were Sept. 6, 2005 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Garvey officiated. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Lowery was a member of Marion United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Paul Lowery of Marion; a daughter, Mary Ann Cox of Harrisburg, Ill.; a brother, George Griffith of Romulus, Mich.; a brother-in-law, James H. Lowery of Bellview, N.E.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Ramage
SALEM, Ky. - Eva Lee Ramage, 76, passed away Sept. 3, 2005 at Fannie Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Galatia, Ill.
Surviving are two daughters, Billie Lee Montgomery of Paducah and Mona L. Kirk of Marion; a son, James Vernon Guess of Wall Township, N.J.; two sisters, Pearl George of Salem and Nell Linzy of Sullivan; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services were Sept. 7 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial was in Union Cemetery.

Kemper
KUTTAWA, Ky. - Betty Kemper, 68, passed away Sept. 4, 2005 at Critenden Hospital. She was a former employee of Shawnee Plastics in Kuttawa and a member of Hebron Baptist Church in Lyon County.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth Kemper of Kuttawa; a sister, Faye Stinnett of Dycusburg; two brothers, Goble Joyce of Marion and Art Joyce of Kuttawa; two grandsons, Chad Kemper of Wahpeton, N.D., and Tyler Kemper of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Kemper; a son, David "Sonny" Kemper; two sisters, Margaret Linzy and Jerline Boyd; two brothers, Randy Joyce and Owen Joyce; and her parents, Lelan Joyce and Stella Peek Joyce.
Services were at 2 p.m., Sept. 7 at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville with Rev. Terry Davis and Rev. Darrin Miller officiating. Burial was in Dycusburg Cemetery.
Belt
Ruby Belt, 76, of Marion, passed away Sept. 6, 2005 at Salem Springlake Health and Rehab. She was a member of Hurricane Church.
Surviving are two sons; William Charles Rice of Greenville, S.C., and Robert Rice of Marion; a step son, Phillip Belt of Marion; two step daughters, Dorothea Hodge and Anna Rae Porter, both of Marion; a brother, J.E. Jones of Marion; and one sister, Nadine Chandler of Chester, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leon Rice; her second husband, Miles Lee Belt; a step son, Roy Belt; and a daughter, Peggy Irene Rice.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Sept. 10, at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Winters and Rev. Jimmy "Bub" Porter officiating. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery.

June Marie Lynn, 47, of Marion, passed away Aug. 28, 2005 at her home. She was a member of Glendale General Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Danny Lynn of Marion; a son, Lance Lynn of Marion; a daughter, Amber Green of Marion, Iowa; two brothers, Edward William Baker, Jr., of Marion and Gary Lewis Baker of Chicago; and two grandchildren.
Services were Sept. 1 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial was in Love Cemetery with Rev. Gary Murray officiating.
Byford
Virginia Lee Byford, 86, of Marion, passed away Aug. 27, 2005 at Salem Springlake Care Center. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was the former owner of Byford Department Store in Marion
Survivors include a daughter, Kay Shewcraft of Marion; a brother, Elbert Vaughn of Paducah; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Byford, and a sister; Grethel Vaughn.
Services were Aug. 30 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Bro. Shelby Shewcraft officiated, with burial in Mapleview Cemetery.

Alberta Louise Cline, 85, of Marion, passed away Aug. 26, 2005 at Salem Springlake Care Center.
Survivors include two sons, Mike Cline of Slaughters and Gary Cline of Atlanta; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

LOLA, Ky. - Funeral services for Mary Sue Harris, 74, were Aug. 30, 2005 at New Union General Baptist Church. Rev. David Davis and Rev. Roger Holloman officiated. Burial was in New Union (Ditney) Cemetery. Boyd Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Harris passed away Aug. 27 at Livingston Hospital. She was a member of New Union (Ditney) General Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, William Harold Harris; a daughter, Vonda Sue Todd of Lola; three sons, Harold Gene Harris of Lola, Carroll Wayne Harris of Smithland and David Harris of Lola; a sister, Peggy Ruth Singleton of Lola; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephew.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ruple Belt and Coy Belt; three sisters, Thelma Belt, Dorothy Belt and Pauline Bradford; and her parents, Ora and Ruth Croft Belt.
Moore
CHICAGO, Ill. - Robert C. Moore, 75, passed away Aug. 22, 2005 at St. Maragret's Mercy Hospital.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, April Simmons Moore; and numerous grandchildren.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Jamie Fox, 24, of Salem passed away Aug. 29, 2005 at Baptist Hospital in Louisville. He was a 1999 graduate of Livingston Central High School and a member of Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his parents, J.W. and Dorothy Woodward Fox of Salem; and a brother, Jerry Dale Fox of Salem.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wesley and Nancy Fox and Werdie and Johnnie Lila Woodard.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Sept. 2 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Frank McCallum, Rev. David Fambrough and Rev. Dale Leichner officiating.
Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
