Lucille Hardesty Wright, 88, of Marion, passed away May 5, 2005 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah. She was a homemaker and the oldest member of Barnett Chapel General Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Bro. Gary Hardesty of Marion; a sister, Wilma Downey of Collinsville, Ill.; three grandchildren, Kevin Hardesty of Tell City, Ind., Chris Hardesty and Tiffany Guess, both of Marion; three great-grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Hardesty; her second husband, Andy Wright; a daughter, Joyce Hardesty; two brothers; and a sister. Her parents were Everidge and Frances Hoover Stone.
Services were May 7 at White's Chapel in Irma. Bro. Gary Hardesty, Bro. Herbert Alexander and Bro. David Winders officiated with burial in White's Chapel Cemetery.

Quinn
STURGIS, Ky. - Funeral services for William Gordon Quinn, 84, will be held at 1 p.m., May 19, 2005 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Sturgis. Father Gerald Calhoun and Bro. Sam Beeny will officiate. Burial will be in St. Ambrose Cemetery in Union County.
Quinn was a U.S. veteran. He passed away May 15 at Regional Medical Center in Morganfield.
Surviving are three daughters, Jane Rich of Marion, Janet Newcom of Clay and Margie Lou Taylor of Madison, Tenn.; two sisters, Ann Theising of Indianapolis, Ind., and Henrietta West of Mesa, Ariz.; five brothers, Seldon Quinn of Sturgis, Welborn Quinn of Kokomo, Ind., Frank Quinn of Green Town, Ind., Joe Quinn of Sturgis and Charles Quinn of Evansville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Jenkins
MORGANFIELD, Ky. - Larry Joe Jenkins, 56, passed away May 11, 2005 at Methodist Hospital in Union County.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Barbara Jenkins; two sons, Wade Jenkins of Newburgh, Ind., and Jody Jenkins of Waverly; a sister, Brenda Martin of Clay; three granddaughters; and a grandson.
Funeral services were May 13 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Morganfield with Father Gerald Baker and Father Sean Kopcynski officiating. Burial was in St. Ann Cemetery.
He was the Judge-Executive in Union County, was a former magistrate, and served on numerous regional boards.
Memorials may be made to Methodist Hospital Union County Foundation or St. Ann's School.
Ringstaff
BURNA, Ky. - Roy Ringstaff, 69, passed away May 17, 2005. He was a Livingston County magistrate for 16 years and was employed at B.F. Goodrich 27 years. He was a member of Hampton United Methodist Church, Salem Lodge No. 81 and the Burna Community Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Toney Bell Ringstaff of Burna; three sons, Glen Ringstaff of Calvert City, Ricky Ringstaff of Ledbetter and Scott Ringstaff of Burna; three brothers, Don Ringstaff of Salem, Jack Ringstaff of Sharp and Wayne Ringstaff of Iuka; two sisters, Gladys Woods of Ledbetter and Ruby Salyer of Grand Praire, Texas; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister; a brother; and his parents, Dewey and Loridean Mitchell Ringstaff.
Services will be at 2 p.m., May 20 at Boyd Funeral Home.
Allen
NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. - William C. "Bill" Allen, Jr., 57, formerly of Marion, passed away suddenly from a heart attack on May 7, 2005 at his home. He was the managing director of Kennedy Information Group, the publisher of The Palm Beach Journal magazine and a member of Marion United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Alexandra Wankowicz Allen; a sister, Barbara (Brent) Allen Roberts of Frostproof, Fla.; stepfather, Bobby Donald (Don) Watson, Sr., of Marion; stepbrother, Bobby D. (Claudia) Watson, Jr., of Nashville, Tenn.; and stepsister, Paula (Doug) Davis of Henderson; seven nieces and nephews; and a great-nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father William C. "Speedy" Allen, Sr., and his mother, Louise Herron Allen Watson. There will be no local service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Marion United Methodist Church Renovation Fund.
Loveless
OMAHA, Neb. - Burnal Marie Loveless, 84, formerly of Salem, passed away May 8, 2005. She was a member of Loveless Chapel Church in Salem.
Surviving are a son, Robert "Bob" Loveless of Salem; two daughters, Mary Jordan of Omaha and Esther Pruett of Council Bluffs, Iowa; four brothers, Ralph Tabor of Omaha, David Tabor of Topkea, Kan., and Paul Tabor and Alfred Tabor, both of Marion; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Franklin Loveless; a son, James Loveless; three brothers; and her parents, Bill and Willie Mae Tabor.
Graveside services are at 11 a.m., May 12, 2005 at Salem Cemetery with Rev. Tim Sprouse officiating.
Mahnke
COULTERVILLE, Ill. - Funeral services for Wanda Mahnke, 67, formerly of Marion, were held May 10, 2005 at Wilson's Funeral Home in Tilden, Ill. Burial was in Tilden City Cemetery.
Mahnke passed away May 8 at Skilled Care Center in Pinckneyville, Ill. She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her husband, Albert Mahnke of Coulterville; three daughters, Theresa Franklin of Louisville, Sharon Asbridge of Marion and Marla Manning of Marion; two sons, Cale Mahnke of Coulterville, Ill., and Tab Hunt of Collinsville, Ill.; two sisters, Cathy Fowler of Evansville and Naomi Stallion of Leesburg, Fla.; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
McMain
Letha Naomi McMain, 85, of Marion, passed away May 6, 2005 at Crittenden Hospital. She was of the Presbyterian faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Lautrieve Martin of San Antonio, Texas; three sons, Charles McMain of Toole, Utah, Jesse McMain, Jr., of Marion and James R. Wallace of Kuttawa; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse McMain, Sr.; a brother; and two sisters.
Services were May 9 at Boyd Funeral Chapel with April Watson officiating. Burial was in Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Union County.
Underdown
Augusta "Gussie" Underdown, 70, of Marion, passed away May 5, 2005 at Lourdes Hospital. She was a member of Dunn Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Bill Wilbanks of St. Louis, Don Wilbanks of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Charles Underdown of Marion; five daughters, Doris Nalin of Evansville, Edna Smith and Margaret McNeely, both of Marion, Lisa James and Patty Young, both of Sturgis; three stepsons, Harold Underdown, Henry Underdown and Junior Underdown, all of Texas; a stepdaughter, Linda Dueser of Texas; 19 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and seven step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert "Bob" Underdown.
Services were May 10 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Hix officiating. Burial was in Dunn Springs Cemetery.

Pullum
Annabel Pullum, 92, of Marion, formerly of Evansville, passed away April 26, 2005 at Livingston Hospital.
She retired in 1968 from the Evansville State Hospital.
Survivors include two daughters, Anna Campbell of Evansville and Patricia Dameron of Marion; four grandchildren, Donetta Doench, Lisa Baker, Tony Campbell and Dr. Kelley Suchman; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services were April 30 at Alexander East Chapel officiated by Rev. R.R. Schwambach with burial at Alexander Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Pullum; and her parents, Alfred O. and Dora Etta Potts.
Underhill
William "Willy" R. Underhill, 36, of Marion, passed away April 27, 2005 at Livingston Hospital.
He is survived by his mother, Deloris Jean Underhill of Marion; his grandmother, Katie Sherer of Tolu; three aunts, Alma Tinsley of Fredricktown, Mo., Mary Phillips and Donna Tinsley, both of Tolu; three uncles, Guthrie Sherer, Roger Sherer and Kenneth Sherer, all of Tolu; and many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Millie Sherer; and an uncle, Larry Sherer.
Services were May 9 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Winders officiating. Burial was in White Chapel Cemetery.
