FREDONIA, Ky. - Christine Crider Yandell, 93, passed away April 10, 2005 at Princeton Health Care Manor. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fredonia.
Surviving are a son, Van (Marjorie) Yandell of Caldwell County; a sister, Pauline "Polly" Young of Fredonia; a brother, Theodore (Shirley) Crider of Fredonia; a grandson, Chris (Jennifer) Yandell of Orlando, Fla.; a niece, Martha Bynum of Fredonia; and a great-nephew, Tom Bynum of Calvert City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.V. Yandell in 1984, and five brothers.
Graveside services were April 13 at Fredonia Cemetery. Rev. Bill Bruce officiated.

Mongel
Victor E. Mongel, 86, of Marion, formerly of Princeton, Ind., passed away April 4, 2005 at Crittenden Hospital. He was a retired oil field pumper and mechanic.
Surviving are two daughters, Violet (Jim) Dillon of Goreville, Ill., and Charlotte (Hugh) Nettleton of Marion; a sister, Rose McIntosh of Bothell, Wash.; three grandchildren, Tony Dillon, Kenny Hensley and Rick Hensley; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Mongel; a brother; two sisters; and his parents, Joseph and Virgie Gahagan Mongel.
Graveside services were April 6 at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton with Rev. John Dunn officiating.
Belt
CERESCO, Mich. - Theda F. Belt, 86, a native of Tolu, passed away April 3 at Tendercare of Marshall. She was born in Tolu and graduated from high school in Tolu in 1938.
Surviving are her husband, Eugene "Gene" Belt of Ceresco; a daughter, Judy St. John of Littleton, Colo.; a son, Danny Belt of Ceresco; and five grandchildren.
Her parents were Cleve and Hattie Barrett Fuller.
Services were April 6 at Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with burial in Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
Mitchell
Sophia Naomi Mitchell, 89, of Marion, passed away April 4, 2005 at Salem Springlake Care Center.
Survivors include two sons, James Oliver of North Carolina and Gary Groves of Paducah; a sister, Nina Grace Peek of Marion; two brothers, William O. (Birdie) Farmer and James (Rosemary) Farmer, both of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James H. and Nellie F. Farmer; a son, Billy Ray Oliver; and a sister.
Services were April 5 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Sis. Lucy Tedrick officiating. Burial was in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
Robinson
KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Rebecca Colleen Robinson, 75, passed away March 30, 2005 at Providence Medical Center. Graveside services were April 2 at White Oak Cemetery in Clay.
Robinson was a member of London Heights Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Everett R. Robinson; a son, Michael Robinson; four sisters, Emma Fuller of Marion, Hattie Brown of Sullivan, Zelma Lindle of Orlando and Phillis Milligan of Sturgis; and a granddaughter.
Stidham
SADIEVILLE, Ky. - Sherrie Stidham, 68, passed away April 2, 2005. She was born in Marion and was a member of Bethel Fellowship Church of Georgetown.
Graveside services were April 6 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Marion.
Surviving are her husband, C.B. Stidham; two daughters, Lisa Renee Casswell of Evansville and Ramona Reed of Lexington; a son, Charles Franklin Hughes of Evansville; two sisters, Mary Lowell and Reba Woodall, both of Georgetown; a brother, James Robert Woodall of Jackson Hole, Wyo.; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Geneva Woodall; a brother, Paul Woodall, Jr.; and a great-granddaughter.
Martin
POPLAR GROVE, Ill. - Helen L. Martin, 68, passed away March 29, 2005 at Kindred Hospital in Sycamore, Ill.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Allen Martin; two sons, Rockie E. Martin of Poplar Grove, Ill., and Allen D. Martin, Jr., of Roscoe, Ill.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services were April 2 at Buck-WHeeler-Hyland Funeral Home in Belvidere, Ill.
Hobbs
John A. "Tooter" Hobbs, 84, of Marion, passed away March 31, 2005 at Salem Springlake Care Center. He was a retired employee of the State of Illinois, a member of the VFW, Masonic Lodge and American Legion.
Surviving are a son, Mike Hobbs (Dorothy) of Marion; a sister, Mayne Frailey of Pickneyville, Ill.; a granddaughter, Melinda Hobbs; a great-grandson, Jacob Hunt; longtime companion Margaret Banks and her son Ronnie Banks; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were April 3 at Rose Gilbert Funeral Home with Danny Starrick officiating. Burial was in Adams Cemetery.
Holloman
Robert Ray Holloman, 73, of Marion, passed away March 29, 2005 at Livingston Hospital. He was a member of Greenhill Baptist Church in Princeton.
Surviving are his wife, Olga A. Holloman of Marion; two sons, Kenneth Holloman of Rosiclare, Ill., and David Holloman of Eddyville; three daughters, Patsy Nesbitt and Betty Lanham, both of Marion, and Barbara Davidson of Paducah; a stepson, Tom Orenduff of Joy; three stepdaughters, Clara Spurlock of Anna, Ill., Merri Seals of Brookport, Ill., and Barbara Wilson of Ullin, Ill.; two sisters, Martha Robertson and Helen Meeks, both of Princeton; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 13 step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Lillie Meeks; a granddaughter, Summer Nesbitt; two great-grandchildren, Kelly Davidson and Rylee Tabor; and his parents, Rev. Alvie Holloman and Ileen Hamby Holloman.
Services were April 1 at Boyd Funeral Home. Bro. James Gray officiating. Burial was in White's Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Holloman, David Holloman, Patsy Nesbitt, Betty Lanham, Tom Orenduff, Merri Seals and Steve Cooper.
Easley
TRUSSVILLE, Ala. - Lyell Edward "L.E." Easley, 75, of Trussville, Ala., formerly of Marion, passed away March 22, 2005.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Trussville where he was a choir member at the church for over 20 years. He was retired from G.T.E.
Funeral services were March 25 at First United Methodist Church in Trussville with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Doug Wells officiated.
Survivors include his wife, Renate Easley of Trussville; five daughters, Beverly Teuscher and Leslie Smith, both of Rome, Ga., Gay Lynn Faircloth of Lexington, Christiane Schaecher of Norfolk, Neb., Jennifer Brazier of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a son, David Kelly of Trussville; three sisters, Nancy Prescott of Punta Gorda, Fla., Eloise Leonard of Huntsville, Texas, and Greta Poole of Plymouth, Mich.; a brother, John Easley of Tallahassee, Fla.; nine grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyell and Sue Rhea Easley; his first wife, Kay; and a son, Allan.
Fritts
VALPARAISO, Ind. - Curtis Leon Fritts, 70, passed away March 19, 2005 at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; two daughters, Phyllis Hinton of La Porte, Ind., and Karen L. Pinkerton of Wanatha, Ind.; four sons, Curtis Fritts of Hebron, Ind., Robert Fritts of North Carolina, Edward Fritts of Alabama, and David Fritts of Valparaiso; two sisters, Barbara Heady of Marion and Geraldine Wallace of Kuttawa; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was buried in Memorial Cemetery in Valparaiso.
