Kentucky Marriage Records by County

Belt
Wilma Louise Belt, 74, of Marion, passed away March 28, 2005 at Crittenden Hospital. Funeral services were March 30 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Clarke officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, Robert E. Belt of Marion; a son, James R. "Butch" McDowell of Salem; a daughter, Judy M. Belt of Marion; her father, Boyd Mayhugh of Buckeye, Ariz.; a brother, Eugene Mayhugh of Buckeye; two sisters, Elizabeth Jo Mayhugh and Marie Harris, both of Buckeye; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Henry
SALEM, Ky. - James Stephen Henry, 54, passed away March 7, 2005 at Salem Springlake Care Center. He was employed by the FBI.
Surviving are a son, Scott Henry of Lexington; two sisters, Stephanie and Kathy; and a granddaughter.
Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. No local services were held.

Hanson
SALEM, Ky. - James Anthony "Jimbo" McNamara III Hanson, 20, passed away March 26, 2005 at his uncle's home. He was a member of the U.S. Army, Detachment I, Company A, 1st Battalion, 293rd Infantry with an E-3 rank.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Debbie Hanson Peck and Rell Peck, Jr., of Salem; his father, James A. McNamara, Jr., of Rensselaer, Ind.; two brothers, Bill McNamara of Salem and Ron Hanson of Grand Rivers; a sister, Rachelle "Shelly" Peck of Salem; his maternal grandmother, Betty Dinwiddie of Salem; two nieces; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services were at 2 p.m., March 31 at Boyd Funeral Home in Salem with Rev. John East officiating. Burial was in Salem Cemetery.

Porter
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Betty Porter, 74, formerly of Marion, passed away March 27, 2005 at Mariner Health Center. She was a member of Unity Church in Nashville.
Surviving are a daughter, LuAnn Buchholz of Franklin, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Porter; a son, Marty Porter; and two grandchildren, Drew and Ryan Buchholz.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., April 1 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Clement officiating.

Roberts
BENTON, Ky. - William C. "Tickle" Roberts, 51, passed away March 26, 2005 at his home. Graveside services were March 28 at Hampton Cemetery with Bro. Johnnie Davis officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Regina Roberts of Benton; his mother, Dorothy McReynolds of Gilbertsville; a daughter, Courtnee Tidwell of Metropolis, Ill.; two sons, James Gary Roberts and William Lee Ray Roberts, both of Benton; four sisters, Brenda Boyd of Grand Rivers, Mona Kanipe of Sturgis, Rose Roberts and Ruthie Bone, both of Gilbertsville; a brother, Weldon Roberts of Gilbertsville; two stepbrothers, Chris McReynolds of Mayfield and Denny McReynolds of Seattle, Wash.; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Roberts.

Robinson
GRAYVILLE, Ill. - Elsie Robinson, 80, passed away March 27, 2005 at Crittenden Hospital. She was a member of the Christian Church in Grayville.
Services were held March 29 at Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis. Rev. Harold Grace officiated. Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are a sister, Louise Nelson of Marion; and a brother, Earl Merritt of Ash Flat, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Emma Collins.

Street
PRINCETON, Ky. - Funeral services for Hurie "Hedy" Street, 88, were March 26, 2005 at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton. Rev. John Benton and Rev. Wallace York officiated.
Street passed away March 23 at her home. She was a retired school teacher and member of Southside Baptist Church. She was a member of the 1931 Shady Grove High School basketball team that went to the state tournament.
She is survived by a daughter, Peggy Sigler of Princeton; a son, Dan Street of Princeton; a brother, Morris Hubbard of Kuttawa; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Street; a daughter, Dona Brown; two brothers, Carroll Hubbard, Sr., and J.D. Hubbard; two sisters, Ruth Ambrose and Reba Shelton.

Bruton
Costella Bruton, 89, of Marion, passed away March 23, 2005. Services were March 28 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Hill officiating. Burial was in Lewis Cemetery.
Bruton was born in Marion and was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a brother-in-law, George Bruton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents, William and Carrie; six brothers, Buckner, Harrison, Huzell, George, Lucion and Armon; two sisters, Jane and Lavonia; a sister-in-law, Firdie Mae Chapman; and nieces Jesse Brown and Carolyn Shack.

Travis
Mary "Mac Trail" Travis, 69, of Marion, passed away March 25, 2005 at Crittenden Hospital
She is survived by a son, Larry Simpkins of Marion; two daughters, Monda Lynch of St. Louis and Stacie Travis Binkley of Nashville; a brother, Jimmy Trail of Marion; two sisters, Ann Conger of Marion and Elsie Campbell of Morganfield; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were March 28 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. David Winders, Michelle Trail Wallace and Rev. Kenny Downs officiating. Burial was in Caldwell Springs Cemetery.

Peek
KUTTAWA, Ky. - Juanita Gilland Peek, 85, passed away March 22, 2005 at Crittenden Hospital. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie Jean Childress Martin of Kuttawa; two grandsons; a granddaughter; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were March 25 at Dunn's Funeral Home in Eddyville with burial in Hebron Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Peck; a son, Herman McKinney; three sisters, Naomi "Tootsie" Beckner, Lavine Seibert and Lucille Rowland Barnett. Her parents were Herman and Audi Myers Gilland.

Dunkerson
PADUCAH, Ky. - Funeral services for Vernelle Dunkerson, 80, were held March 22, 2005 at Boyd Funeral Home. Rev. Shoney Oliver and Rev. Randy Beals officiated. Burial was in Dyer Hill Cemetery.
Dunkerson, a member of Dyer Hill Baptist Church, passed away March 19 at Calvert City Convalescent Center.
Surviving are two daughters, Vicki Madison of Calvert City and Melanie Blankenship of Paducah; a brother, Don H. Phillips of Burna; and a grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren G. Dunkerson; a brother, Joe M. Phillips; a son, Eric Warren Dunkerson; and her parents, Vernon Farris Phillips and Thelma Glenn Warren Phillips.

Palmer
SALEM, Ky. - Ina Palmer, 90, passed away March 21, 2005 at Salem Springlake Care Center. She was a member of North Livingston Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Shewmaker of Salem; a son, E.J. Palmer of Smithland; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest John Palmer; a sister; and her parents, Ira Drewsie Harris Poindexter.
Funeral services were March 23 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Wring officiating. Burial was in McMurray Chapel Cemetery.
