Bro. Marion Edward Boone, 74, of Marion, passed away March 15, 2005 at Western Baptist Hospital. He was pastor of Dunn Springs Baptist Church for 37 years and was a retired factory worker and farmer.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sue Boone of Marion; his father, Bro. James Boone; four sons, Bro. Eddie Boone, Terry Boone and Matthew Boone, all of Marion, and Jimmy Boone of Clay; four daughters, Debbie Dutton, Sandra Tabor, Mary Ann Boone and Amanda Kirk, all of Marion; a brother, Herbert Boone of Marion; a sister, Karen Wheeler of Marion; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary T. Boone; a sister, Nina Woodall; and a granddaughter, Haylee Boone. Pallbearers will be Bradley Boone, Nathan Boone, Ben Boone, Tanner Tabor, Craig Boone, Joshua Boone, Marc Tabor and Brandon Guess. Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter Boone and Tyler Boone.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., March 17 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Bro. Joe Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery.

Patmor
Funeral services for Eula Riordan Patmor, 76, of Marion, will be held at 1 p.m., March 18, 2005 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Garvey will officiate with burial in Mapleview Cemetery.
Patmor passed away March 15 at her home. She was a member of Marion United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Sondra Grimes of Almo, and Denise Hamilton of Marion; three sisters, Ruby Yates, Lula Foster and Vivian Anderson, all of Lexington; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herschel E. Riordan; her second husband, Raymond Patmor; a daughter, Kim Riordan; three brothers, Willis, Homer and Burnice Barnett; and her parents, Callie and Artie Barnett.
Wiles
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Ruby Gilliand Wiles, 91, passed away Feb. 28, 2005. She was born in Tolu and was later a RN and former hospital administrator. She was very active with the Girl Scouts and was commissioner while living in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Survivors include her husband, Harold B. Wiles of Myrtle Beach; a son, James G. Wiles of Philadelphia, Penn.; and one granddaughter.
Her parents were James and Pearl Hardesty Gilliand, of Rosiclare, Ill.
Funeral service were held March 5 at the Chapel in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Peters, Penn. Arrangements were by McMillan-Small Funeral Home of Myrtle Beach.
Whitis
PADUCAH, Ky. - LaDonna Whitis, 40, passed away March 7, 2005 at UK Medical Center in Lexington. She was a member of Hardmoney Baptist Church in Paducah.
Surviving are a son, Chanse Whitis of Paducah; a daughter, Bobbie Lawrence of Henderson; her parents, James Jones of Fredonia and Geraldine Lane Cochran of Princeton; two brothers, Jesse Jones and Charlie Jones, both of Princeton, three sisters, Teresa Jones of Fredonia, Janet Jones of Orlando and Ashley Tinsley of Ft. Bragg, N.C.; her stepfather, Jeff Cochran; a stepson, Chad Whitis; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., March 10 at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton with burial in Fredonia Cemetery.
Cook
Ira Walker "I.W." Cook, Jr., 71, of Marion, passed away March 5, 2005 at Crittenden Hospital. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 156 in Marion and was a veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are two sons, Mike Cook of Henderson and Steve Cook of Pataskla, Ohio; two brothers, Percy Cook of Marion and Joe Cook of Vincennes, Ind.; four sisters, Doris Brantley of Marion, Martha Kirk of Dawson Springs, Janet St. Clair of Owensboro and Louise Weldon of Newburgh, Ind.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Cook; a sister; a brother; and his parents, Ira Walker and Harpye Herrin Cook, Sr.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., March 10 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Brantley officiating.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Nancy Lee Cross, 70, passed away Feb. 28, 2005. Cross is a former Salem resident, moving from California five years ago following retirement from a career in accounting.
Survivors include two daughters, Deanna Lee Cross-Boyle of Lompoc, Calif., and Denise Lee Cross of Marion; a son, David L. Cross of Salem; six grandchildren, Nichol, Stephanie, Joshua, Nathan, Kaitlin and Alicyn; four great-grandchildren, Adreyn, Austin, Colton and Lillian; three step grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Lee Cross.

Noel
HAMPTON, Ky. - Funeral services for Janet Noel, 43, were March 6, 2005 at Boyd Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Sprouse officiated. Burial was in Good Hope Cemetery.
Noel, a member of Crown Point Church of God in Crown Point, Ind., passed away March 3 at Salem Springlake Care Center.
She is survived by her husband, Ollie Noel of Hampton; her mother, Margaret Jerlene Reed of Crown Point; her father, Emerald Dale Ness; a son, David Michael Harris of Hampton; two daughters, Angela Jerlene Ramsey of Hampton and Mahelet Marie Harris of Utah; two sisters, June Noe of Weirsdale, Fla., and Virginia Strickland of Orlando, Fla.; two brothers, Robert Ramsey of Cedar Lake, Ind., and Ray Ramsey of Orlando; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Ray Ramsey.
Holloman
William D. Holloman, 80, of Marion, passed away March 8, 2005 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah. He was a member of Hurricane Church.
Surviving are a son, Billy Dale Holloman of Orland Hills, Ill.; three sisters, Kuma Little and Mary Lena Belt, both of Maron, and Maggie Staab of Greeley, Colo.; two brothers, James Holloman of Marion and Roger Holloman of Lola; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jennie Faye Holloman; and his parents, Virgil and Mary Eva Holloman.
Services will be at 11 a.m., March 12, 2005 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial will be in Love Cemetery. Rev. Jimmie Porter and Rev. Wayne Winters will officiate.
Pidgeon
HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. - Joseph H. Pidgeon, 69, passed away March 3, 2005 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.
Funeral services were March 6 at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Hopkinsville. Rev. Phillip Brumfield and Dr. Phil D. Hill officiated.
Pidgeon was a native of Crittenden County and was a retired maintenance supervisor for Longmont United Hospital in Longmont, Colo. He was a member of Kelly Baptist Church in Christian County, BPOE Lodge 545, Ft. Campbell Shrine Club, Trigg County Shrine Club, Hopkinsville Shrine Club, Todd County Shrine Club, 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, Rizpah Shriners of Madisonville, L.M. Cox Masonic Lodge 327 in Crofton, Grand Lodge of Kentucky and was a Kentucky Colonel.
Surviving are a daughter, Donna Jo Pidgeon Gardner of Hopkinsville; two sisters, Midge Durbin of Hopkinsville and Ann McDowell of Bremerton, Wash.; and one grandson.
His parents were Joseph H. and Reva Dean Pidgeon and grandparents were marion and Annie Dean, all of the Deanwood Community in Crittenden County.

Harden
ROBINSON, Ill. - William "Harold" Harden, 81, formerly of Rosiclare and Palatine, Ill., passed away March 3, 2005 at the Long Term Care Unit of Crawford Memorial Hospital. He was born in Tolu.
He was a mechanic for Meyer Material in Wheeling, Ill., and for Alcoa Mining in Rosiclare. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Rieke Harden; three daughters, Judy Massof of Washington, Mich., Dolly Robinson and Mary Harden, both of Robinson; a sister, Peavy Threlkeld of Rosiclare; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Franks; a brother, Barkley Harden; and his parents, James Curtis Harden and Mary Olive Hammond Harden.
Graveside services will be held at White Chapel Cemetery.
