SALEM, Ky. - Marvin Massey, 71, passed away Feb. 13, 2005 at his home. He was a member of Pleasant Grove General Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean conflict.
Surviving are a son, Randall Massey of Salem; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Johnson Massey; his second wife, Loraine Massey; and his mother, Martie Evans Massey.
Services were Feb. 17 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Alexander officiating. Burial was in Pickneyville Cemetery.
Johnson
TILINE, Ky. - Services for Edith Mae Johnson, 83, were held Feb. 15, 2005 at Smith Funeral Chapel in Smithland. Rev. Allen Jones and Rev. Russell Joiner officiated. Burial was in Grove Chapel Cemetery.
Johnson passed away Feb. 12 at Salem Springlake Care Center.
Survivors include a son, Keith Johnson of Symsonia; a daughter, Carolyn Tracy of Tiline; a sister, Kerena Rudd of Paducah; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raleigh Johnson; her parents, Coy and Caroline Kemper Hudson; two sisters; a brother; and a great-granddaughter.
Tabor
NASHVILLE, Ky. - Rylee Tabor, infant girl, passed away Feb. 9, 2005 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
Surviving are her parents, Brant and Rachel Tabor of Marion; a sister, Rhegan Tabor of LaVergne, Tenn.; grandparents, Patsy and Joe Nesbitt of Marion and Hope Hodge of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Fred D. Tabor.
Turner
TROY, Mo. - Recie Mae Tharp Turner, 87, formerly of Lola, passed away Feb. 11, 2005 at her home.
Funeral services were Feb. 14 at Boyd Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Rittenberry officiating. Burial was in Lola Cemetery.
Surviving are a niece, Debbie Dickinson of Troy; and five sisters, Cleo Schnake, Juanita Wilbanks, Dottie Taber and Lucille King, all of Illinois, and Ileene Kroll of Salem.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pleas Turner; her parents, Elmer and Carrie Walton Tharp; three sisters; and two brothers.
Haegelin
Harley J. Haegelin, 84, of Marion, passed away Feb. 10, 2005 at his home. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Marion-Crittenden County Airport Board, was a retired U.S. Air Force colonel and former owner of Lafayette Heights Bed and Breakfast in Frances.
Funeral services were Feb. 14 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Howton officiating. Burial was in Frances Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Haegelin of Marion; three daughters, Tina Tabor of Marion, Donna Green of Marion and Cynthia Stark of Greeley, Colo.; four sons, Cal Brasher of Marion, Johnny Haegelin of ReoMedina, Texas, Tim Haegelin of New Braunsfels, Texas and Tom Haegelin of Pryer, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Allcock
EDDYVILLE, Ky. - Georgia LaVerne Allcock, 71, passed away Feb. 8, 2005 at Salem Springlake Care Center. She was a homemaker and member of Olive Baptist Church in Paducah.
Survivors include three daughters, Cindy Taber of Suwanee and Toni Weldon and Phyllis Rushing, both of Marion; two sons, Ricky Allcock of Marion and Johnny Allcock of Hampton; two brothers, John Travis and Homer Ray Travis, both of Marion; four sisters, Carlene Hill, Peggy Easley, Willie Mae Jenkins and Ruby Jean Hodges, all of Marion; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Allcock; a brother, Billy Joe Travis; two grandchildren; and her parents, Homer and Ora Hillyard Travis.
Services were Feb. 10 at Collier Funeral Chapel in Benton. Rev. Frank McCallum and Sis. Lucy Tedrick will officiate. Burial was in Smith Cemetery in Benton.

Alexander
HERMITAGE, Tenn. - Private graveside services for Michael H. Alexander, 60, formerly of Murray, will be held Feb. 10 at Old Salem Cemetery. Rev. John East will officiate.
Alexander passed away Feb. 7 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was of the Church of Christ faith.
Surviving are his wife, Deborah Alexander of Hermitage; two sisters, Merilyn DeLaney of Branson, Mo., and Karen Bunch of Kings Mountain, N.C.; three brothers, Danny Alexander of Murray, Terry Alexander of Salem and Dewayne Alexander of California; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Walena Alexander.
Boyd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Woodall
DIAMOND, Ky. - John W. Woodall, Jr., 34, of Diamond, passed away Feb. 1, 2005.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Wilcox Woodall of Diamond; his mother, Brenda Woodall of Smithland; his father, John Woodall, Sr., of Smithland; two sons, John Tyler Woodall of Marion and Jonathan Kyle Woodall of Diamond; two daughters, Stormi Dawn Woodall and Tami Michelle Woodall, both of Diamond; a brother, Keith Woodall of Salem; two sisters, Lisa Holloman and Teresa Shewcraft, both of Salem; and a grandmother, Mattie Woodall of Smithland.
Services were held Feb. 4 at Townsend-Jones Funeral Home iin Providence with Rev. Larry Williams officiating. Burial was in Crayne Cemetery.
Hunt
Hubert "Ted" Hunt, 90, of Marion, passed away Feb. 1, 2005 at Livingston County Hospital. He attended Cave Springs General Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Marion Hunt of Dawson Springs, Hubert Hunt, Jr., of Wendell, N.C., and Bud Hunt of Grand Rivers; a daughter, Charlotte Whitledge of Henderson; a brother, Hayden Hunt of Eureka, Mo.; and two sisters, Mabel Guess of Marion and Miriam Marvel of Morganfield.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Margaret Hunt; and a brother, Harley Hunt. His parents were Simeon and Alice Hunt.
Services were Feb. 4 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Heath Martin officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.

SALEM, Ky. - Harold Drew Alsobrook, 70, passed away Jan. 27, 2005 at his home. He was a member of Elks Club in Culver City, Calif., and a member of Loveless Chapel Church which his father built.
Surviving are his wife, Tina Louise Alsobrook of Salem; three daughters, Dana Bayliss and Jenny Oberman, both of Paducah, and Traci L. Parson of Smithland; four sons, Kenny Alsobrook of Paducah, Carter Alsobrook of Salem, Scott Alsobrook of Tehachpi, Calif., and Brian Alsobrook of Palmdale, Calif.; seven sisters, Verna Carter, Georgie Carter, Ona Park, Dean Noskier, Billie Shelton, Jeanette Grimes and Ellen Cockrell, all of California; a brother, Larnie Alsobrook of Illinois; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Vidue Cobb Alsobrook; a granddaughter, Christina Hanson; and a son-in-law, Robert Coursey.
A memorial service was held Jan. 31 at Loveless Chapel Church with Bro. Tim Sprouse officiating. Burial was in Lake Arrowhead, Calif.
