Jeffery Lynn Hopper, 34, passed away Aug. 2, 2006 in an automobile accident in Owensboro. A private burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery Aug. 3 in Owensboro. McGinnis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He attended Calhoun Pentecostal Church and was a deckhand for 16 years. Most recently he was employed by PMI in Owensboro.
Surviving are his mother, Donna Sue Tabor of Burna; his father, Steve Hopper of Owensboro; his maternal grandmother and step grandfather, Mamie Lois Barnes and George Barnes of Burna; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. James Hopper of Owensboro; two aunts, Brenda Jewell Tabor of Smithland and Betty Lois Brown of Marion; an uncle, Tom Tabor of Burna; several cousins; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Coy Clifton Tabor and James Hopper; and an uncle, J.C. Tabor.
Edmonds
Services for William C. “Little Tumper” Edmonds, 73, will be held at 2 p.m., Aug. 11, 2006 at Boyd Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Wring will officiate.
Edmonds passed away Aug. 8 at his home. He was a member wof North Livingston Baptist Church and Salem Masonic Lodge No. 81.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Evelyn Edmonds; a daughter, Kathy Helm of Hampton; a son, Tim Edmonds of Hamton; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence A. and Anna G. Fires Edmonds.
Young
GRANGER, Ind. – Donna Mae Young, 67, passed away July 30, 2006 following a long illness.
She was born in the Mexico community.
Surviving are her husband, Gene Wallace Young; three daughters, Rhonda Biel of Granger, RoxAnne Summerlot of Plymouth and Mona Householder of Clay; two sons, Ronald and Randy, both of South Bend; a brother, Oliver Perryman; and four sisters, Jennarae Webb, Doris Kirk, Carol Bragdon and Phyllis - Nichols; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Willie Mae Sunderland Perryman; three brothers; and a sister.
Services were Aug. 2 at McGann Hay Granger Chapel in Granger, Ind. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Jones
Junior E. Jones, 74, of Marion, passed away July 30, 2006 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
He was a member of Sugar Grove Presbyterian Church, where his services were Aug. 2. Rev. Frank McCallum, Rev. Harold Grace and Rev. Paul Davis officiated. Burial was in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Bauer Jones of Marion; two sons, Larry E. (Judy) of Marion and Brad L. Jones of Salem; four daughters, Diana (Mike) Byford of Marion, Valerie (Marshall) Brantley of Hillsboro, Mo., Beverly (Paul) Davis of Clay, and Jualie Jarrett of Paducah; a sister, Nadine Chandler of Chester, Ill.; 14 grandchildren; seven great-randchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceeded in death by his parents John and Lora Wisdom Jones; a sister, Ruby Belt; and a grandson, Daniel Belt.
Myers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Langdon
LaCENTER, KY. – Albert Langdon, Jr., 61, passed away July 29, 2006 at his home.
Surviving are a daughter, Cloris Belle Alexander of Paducah; a son, Albert Langdon III; five sisters, Linda Pace and Dorothy Langdon, both of LaCenter, Sylvia Dismore of Grand Rivers, Shirley Gallie of Eddyville and Betty Langdon of Tampa, Fla.; and a brother, Walter Langdon of Ledbetter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mary Tabor Landgon; four sisters; and a brother.
Graveside services were Aug. 1 at Dyer Hill Cemetery.
Hunt
Services for John D. Hunt, 89, of Marion, were July 31, 2006 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Jerry Thurman and Rodney Paris officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Hunt passed away July 28 at his home. He was a retired carpenter and member of Pleasant Hill Regular Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Wanda Lee Hunt of Marion; two sons, Joe Hunt of Marion and Bernie Hunt of Kentucky; a daughter, Janna Croft of Marion; a brother, Robert Wayne Hunt of Marion; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Nona Dollin Hunt; a son, Ronald Wayne Hunt; and a sister.
Pistone
LEXINGTON, Ky. – No services are planned for Lois Elizabeth Pistone, 87, who passed away July 13, 2006 at her home. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
Pistone was born and raised in Salem and later moved to California.
During World War II she worked in a Douglas Aircraft plant in California as a Rosie the Riveter. Most of her life, she worked as a homemaker, rearing three children.
Survivors include two sons, Darrel Coffer of Lexington and Jimmie Coffer of Las Vegas, Nev.; a sister, James Merl Evans of Reseda, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William L. Knight and Lena Alsobrook Knight; a daughter, Nickie Rae Coffer; a brother, William Knight and two sisters, Velda and Pauline.
Davis
Graveside services for Jacob Bo-Lee Davis, the stillborn son of Jackie and Stephanie Davis of Salem, will be held at 6 p.m., July 27, 2006 at Mapleview Cemetery. Rev. Bill Baker will officiate. Gilbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The infant passed away July 24 at Western Baptist Hospital.
Survivors in addition to his parents are grandparents Rosemary Dunbar Belt, Sandra Guess and Gary Cowan, all of Salem, and Kenneth W. Davis of Marion.

Glass
BURNA, Ky. – Barney A. Glass, 72, passed away July 20, 2006 at Livingston Hospital.
He is survived by a daughter, Patricia Lucassen of Merrillville, Ind.; a son, Barney Allen Glass, Jr., of Merrillville; a sister, Toney Belle Ringstaff of Burna; a brother, Bobby Glass of Burna; and a granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney Franklin and Beulah E. Barnes Glass.
Services were July 23 at Boyd Funeral Home with Bro. Bennie Chandler officiating. Burial was in Good Hope Cemetery.
Alsobrook
PADUCAH, Ky. – Services for Daniel B. Alsobrook, 57, will be held at 11 a.m., July 27, 2006 at Boyd Funeral Home. Rev. Tommy Williams will officiate. Burial is in Dyer Hill Cemetery.
Alsobrook passed away July 24. He was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church in Paducah, an employee of ISP in Calvert City and a member of the IAM Union.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Alsobrook of Paducah; a son, Jeffrey Alsobrook of Cadiz; a daughter, Valerie Phillips of Murray; four sisters, Janice Rogers of Smithland, Donna Beavens of Owensboro, Mary Cleveland of Holbrook, Ariz., and Paula Williams of Galatia, Ill; a brother, David Alsobrook of Benton; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
