Birdie L. Stone, 79, of Marion, passed away Jan. 4, 2006 at Western Baptist Hospital.
She was of Baptist faith.
Surviving are two grandchildren, Jeannie Morrison of Ingles, Ind., and Rhonda Hallman of Valparaiso, Ind.; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Stone; a son, Ricky St. Myers; two brothers; two sisters; and her parents, Elmer and Ollie Waddell Conrad.
Services were Jan. 7 at White's Chapel. Bro. Gary Hardesty officiated. Burial was in White's Chapel Cemetery.

Brantley
Funeral services for Dorothy Mae Brantley, 86, of Marion, were Jan. 7, 2006 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Heath Martin and Rev. David Davis officiated.
Burial was in Rosebud Cemetery.
Brantley passed away Jan. 3 at Crittenden Hospital. She was of General Baptist faith.
Surviving are four daughters, Shelia Jeter of Nashville, Pat Fuller and Helen Wilson, both of Marion, and janie Vierkant of Paducah; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Brantley; three sons, Windell Allan Brantley, Curtis Glenn Brantley and Curtis Henry Brantley; two daughters, Dora Nicie Brantley and Doris Jane Brantley; two brothers; four sisters; and her parents, Roy and Mina Brantley Millikan.

Hunt
Orlyn R. Hunt, 80, of Marion, passed away Jan. 11, 2006 at Lourdes Hospital.
He was a member of Marion Baptist Church and the Boilermakers Local #40.
Surviving are his wife, Mary "Peachie" Towery Hunt of Marion; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Ray Hunt; and a brother, Sylvan Hunt. His parents were Jamie and Stella Hunt.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Jan. 13 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Guy Gordon will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Stork
PADUCAH, Ky. - Funeral services for Jessie Louise Stork, 73, formerly of Livingston County, were held Jan. 4, 2006 at Boyd Funeral Home.
Bro. Jeff Wiggins and Bro. Joe Blagg officiated. Burial was in Tyner's Chapel Cemetery.
Stork passed away Jan. 1 at Residential Care of Paducah. She attended Broadway Church of God.
Surviving are three daughters, Gail Hall of Smithland and Linda Viniard and Yvonne Walker, both of Paducah; two sons, Gerald Riley of Jackson, Tenn., and Darrell Riley of Grand Rivers; three sisters, Hazel Driver of Salem, Kaye Munsch of Paducah and Faye Dae of Ledbetter; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Roger Riley.
Her parents were Orville and Elsie Adcock Cox.
Williams
ELDORADO, Ill. – Francis Irene Williams, 92, passed away July 25, 2006 at Ridgeway Manor Nursing Home.
She was born in Tolu and was a member of Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by five sons, Billy Ray (Mildred) Williams of Eldorado, Ill., James Guthery (Ada) Williams of Norris City, Ill., Phillip Williams of Equality, Ill., Floyd Bennett (Teresa) Williams of Harrisburg, Ill., and Ralph Donald (Shirley) Williams of Equality; four daughters, Alma Ruth (Maurice) Yingling, of Maryland, Helen Jean Todd of Evansville, Mona Joyce Pierce of Herrin, Ill., and Sharon Kay (Don) Ryder of Ridgeway, Ill.; a sister, Pauline Bramlet of Arkansas; 30 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Her parents were James Coleman and Florance Alma (Jacobs) Minner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Ollie Williams; two sons, John Wesley Williams and Charles Raymond Williams; two brothers, Niles Minner and Douglas Minner; three sisters, Edna Taylor, Myrtle Minner and Ora Fisher.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., July 28 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Art Donley officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Campground Cemetery.
Myers Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of local arrangements.
McConnell
EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Frances I. McConnell, 83, passed away July 15, 2006 at the VNA Charlier Hospice Center.
She retired in 1985 from Whirlpool Corporation after 13 years of service.
She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Lois Wells of Louisville; a son, Ron McConnell Evansville; a sister, Faye Nelson of Evansville; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom McConnell and a brother, Charles S. Herrin.
Services were July 18 at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Dale Maddux with entombment at Oak Hill Cemetery.

RIDGEWAY, Ill. – James Henry Cole, 89, formerly of Marion, passed away July 9, 2006 at Ridgeway Manor Nursing Home.
He was a member of American Legion Post 193 in Louisville and Westend Baptist Church in Louisville.
He is survived by two daughters, Linda Carter of Florida and Jane Christine Sanks of North Carolina; and a grandson, Michael Grady of Louisville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Walker and Grace T. Jenkins Cole.
Graveside services were July 17 at Repton Cemetery.
Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Brown
TUSTIN, Calif. – Karl Binkley Brown, 77, passed away June 21, 2006 at his home.
He grew up in Princeton and graduated from Butler High School and later from Wayne University in Detroit where he received a master’s degree in engineering. He was a U.S. veteran.
He is survived by a brother, Edward R. Brown of Princeton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elmore R. Brown, and mother, Dessie Binkley Brown; and a sister, Helen Gould Brown.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., July 21 at Crayne Cemetery.
Charly Anna Morgan will officiate the service.
Morgan’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Lain
MAYFIELD, Ky. – Services for Buddy Glen Lain, 60, will be at 1 p.m., July 20, 2006 at Byrn Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Johnson and Rev. Jerry Haynes officiating.
Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery.
Lain passed away July 16 at his home.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of Northside Baptist Church and the International Union of Operating Engineers
