Services for Andrea K. LeFan, 16, of Dycusburg will be at 11 a.m., June 9, 2006 at Lyon County High School gymnasium in Eddyville with burial in Dycusburg Cemetery.
LeFan passed away June 5, 2006 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville as a result of injuries she suffered in an accident on Ky. 295 (see story, page 1A).
Lakeland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Weldon
Mary Sue Weldon, 90, of Marion, passed away June 5, 2006 at Crittenden Health and Rehab. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Larry Weldon of Franklin, Ed Weldon of Houston, Texas and James D. Weldon of Portage, Ind.; a daughter, Anna Blackburn of Marion; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ullyseus Grant and Anna Blackburn Hughes; her husband, James E. Weldon; and a sister, Evelyn Hughes.
Services were June 7 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Clint Keith and Rev. Dennis Winn officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Newcom
Funeral services for Ruby Newcom, 82, of Marion, will be held at 11 a.m., June 9 2006 at Myers Funeral Home. Newcom passed away June 5 at her home. Rev. Darrell Clarke and Rev. Jerry Thurman will officiate the service, with burial in Mapleview Cemetery.
She was a member of Marion Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Virgil Newcom of Marion; three grandchildren, Perry Newcom of Marion, Angie Head of Henderson and Julie Dean of Charlotte, N.C.; and two great-grandchildren, Katelyn Newcom of Marion and Ella Dean of Charlotte, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil E. Newcom; a brother; and two great-grandchildren.

Davidson
Maggie Helen Davidson, 80, of Marion, passed away June 4, 2006 at her home. She was of Baptist faith.
Surviving are her husband, Pete Davidson; two sons, Ronnie Davidson of Marion and Randy Davidson of Paducah; a granddaughter, Crystal Engler of Paducah; and a great-grandson, Hayden Engler of Paducah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alf and Ruby Hunt Moore; and a sister.
Services were June 6 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Cortis Hill officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Frazer
Ted Frazer Jr., 73, of Marion, passed away June 6, 2006 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was a member of Marion United Methodist Church and a registered pharmacist and former owner of City Drug Company in Marion. He attended Murray State University and was a pharmacy school graduate from University of Kentucky in Lexington.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Grace Frazer of Eddyville; a son Ted Frazer III of Nashville; a daughter Dianne Frazer Pitt and grandson Curtis Len of Carbondale, Ill.; and a brother, Thomas Roe Frazer of Sturgis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melba Williams Frazer and Ted Frazer Sr.
Services are at Gilbert Funeral Home at 1 p.m., June 10. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery in Trenton.
McFarland
Services for Shonda LeeAnn McFarland, 17, of Marion, will be held at 1 p.m., June 8 at Collier Funeral Home in Benton with Jim Mayhugh officiating. Burial will be in Dixon Cemetery in Grand Rivers. She passed away June 5 in a wreck on Ky. 295 (see story, page 1A).
McFarland formerly attended Livingston Central High School.
She is survived by her father, Charles Grundy of Smithland; her mother, Jerrie Renia McFarland Garrett of Marion; her stepfather, Carlos Garrett of Marion; a half-brother, Christopher Grundy of Lyon County; a sister, Keisha Grundy of Marion; a half-sister, Kayla Grundy of Paducah; her grandparents, Shonda and Willis Dukes of Smithland and Lois and Jimmy McFarland of Marion.
Taylor
Arrangements are incomplete at Smith Funeral Home in Smithland for Bobby J. "Joey" Taylor, 23, of Smithland.
Taylor passed away June 5, 2006 in a car accident on Ky. 295 near Dycusburg.
Cox
Patsy A. Tyrie Cox, 69, of Marion, passed away May 27, 2006 at Western Baptist Hospital.
Surviving are her husband, James O. Cox; two brothers, Bill Harris of Indiana and Allen "Pee Wee" Harris of Marion; a sister, Thelma Sizemore of Paducah; two stepsons, James Cox and Timothy Cox, both of Florida; three step grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Pete Tyrie; and a brother, Houston Harris.
Services were May 31 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Roger Holloman officiated. Burial was in Fredonia Cemetery.

SALEM, Ky. - Norma M. Harris, 80, passed away May 30, 2006 at Crittenden Hospital. She was a member of Old Salem Baptist Church.
Surviving are a brother, Jim B. (Norma Jean) Harris of Burna; two nieces, Sharon Wight of Marion and Rhonda (Bobby) Davidson of Salem; a nephew, Jim Steven Harris of Salem; four great-nieces, Deana McDowell and Stephanie Dawn (Shawn) Chambliss, both of Fredonia; Wendi Wight of Marion and Mary Beth Head of Burna; a great-nephew, Ronnie Brian Wright of Salem; three great-great-nieces; and four great-great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bennett Harris and Nadine Ramage Harris.
Services will be at 11 a.m., June 1 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Rice and Rev. David Fambrough officiating. Burial is in Dyer Hill Cemetery.

He was a WW II veteran with the 11th Army Airborne, the Angel Division.
He was a member of the AMVETS, DAV and VFW Post #2078 in Christopher, IL.
Services will be at 3 p.m., May 26 at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home in Canton. Rev. Richard Wilkinson will officiate. Burial will be at Orendorff Cemetery in Canton.

Travis
Johnny Ray Travis, 58, of Marion, passed away May 17, 2006 at Cave In Rock, Ill. He was the owner of Travis Lawn Care in Marion.
Surviving are his wife, Nora Ellen Travis of Marion; a son, Brian Travis of Marion; and a brother, Bobby Travis of Marion.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Travis; and his parents, Glendal and Anna Rigsby Travis.
Services were at 2 p.m., May 20 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery.
