BURNA, Ky. - Elaine Mitchell, 91, passed away April 2, 2006 at Livingston Hospital. She was a member of Old Salem Baptist Church since 1935.
Surviving are a daughter, Vivian Ann Monroe of Burna; Robert D. Mitchell of Burna and William H. Mitchell of Battleground, Ind.; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; four step grandchildren; and six step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Clinton Mitchell; four brothers; a sister; and her parents, Leonard A. Ramage and Maude Bernice Fuller Ramage.
Services were April 5 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Thurman and Rev. Dennis Wynn officiating. Burial was in Old Salem Cemetery.

Long-time Farmers Bank employee Virginia Crider, 77, passed away at Crittenden Hospital Wednesday afternoon, March 29, 2006. Arrangements were incomplete late Wednesday.
McEuen
EVANSVILLE, Ind. - George E. McEuen, Sr., 81 passed away March 26, 2006 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.
He was retired from Whirlpool Corporation after 41 years of service. He was a United States Navy veteran serving during WWII. He was member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Naomi (McMillen) McEuen; a son, George E. (Nancy) McEuen, Jr., of Newburgh, Ind.; a son-in-law, Gary Fink of Booneville, Ind.; a sister, Mary Katherine Farr; four grandchildren, Michele and Jason McEuen, Timberly Brinker and Eddie Carner; and five great-grandchildren, Drew, Trey, Eric, Kayla and Halle.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Fink.
Services were March 29 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel with Rev. Glenn Flowers officiating. Burial was in Park Lawn Cemetery.

King
ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Willard Rudell King, 78, passed away March 16, 2006. He was born in Marion. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and Indiana National Guard. He retired from Chrysler Corporation after 39 years, beginning in Evansville and relocating to Fenton, Mo.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth Pickens King; three daughters, Kathy McClelland, Linda Hokanson and Carol (Charles) Parmenter, all of Fenton, Mo; a son, David (Nancey) King of Cicero, Ind.; a brother, Joseph (Clement) King of Marion; two sisters, Thelma Johnson of Marion and Louise (Donald) Thomas of Kokomo, Ind.; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Steven King; his parents, Conrad and Louisa King.
Funeral services were held at the Jay B. Smith Funeral Home in Fenton with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill, Mo.
Atwell
LOLA, Ky. - Evelyn Taylor Campbell Atwell, 90, passed away March 24, 2006 at Salem Springlake Care Center. She was a member of New Union (Ditney) General Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Robbie Tabor of Marion and Norma L. Rouse of Newport, Ohio; two sons, Jerry L. Atwell of Amory, Miss., and Donald R. Atwell of Marion; 10 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert; a second husband, Floyd Hobby; a son, Edgar Willis Atwell; a daughter, Betty Alberta Atwell; two brothers; two sisters; and her parents, Arch E. and Dora Walker Campbell.
Private funeral services were held March 26 at Lola Cemetery with Rev. Tim Fouts officiating.
Walker
MADISONVILLE, Ky. - Funeral services for Robert L. "Bob" Walker, 84, were March 27, 2006 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. He passed away March 23 at Princeton Health Care Manor.
He retired from Andalex Coal Co., where he was a tipple operator. He was a member of Madisonville First Presbyterian Church, was a World War II Army veteran, decorated having served in the Battle of the Bulge and European theaters. He worked for Pleasant View Greenhouses after he retired and farmed for several years in Iowa before moving to Kentucky.
Surviving are his wife, Lottie Franklin Walker; three daughters, Barbara Holland of Cadiz, Bonnie Kington of Madisonville and Brenda Guess of Marion; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Estill; and his parents, Edwin Harvey Walker and Eva Laverne Thomas Walker.

Duvall
Donald Charles "Charlie" Duvall, 67, passed away March 26, 2006 at Western Baptist Hospital. He was a member of Mexico Baptist Church.
Services were March 28 at Mexico Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Burdon officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Dot Duvall; two daughers, Serita Duvall and Rose Ann Bebout of Crayne; two sons, Greg Duvall of Charleston, Ind., and Billy Stalion of Princeton; two sisters, Brenda Hodges of Kuttawa and Jan Duvall of Illinois; four brothers, Robert Duvall of Texas, Doug Duvall of Madisonville and Steve Duvall and Larry Duvall, both of Indiana; six grandchildren, Todd Bebout and Kayla Bebout, both of Crayne, Brandon Stalion of Kentucky and Brian Mullins, Chris Mullins and Amanda Mullins; a great-granddaughter, Jeana Mullins; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Cleo Duvall; and a nephew, Mike Duvall.
Fraley
VALPARAISO, Ind. - Graveside services for Robert Glenn Fraley, 52, were held March 22, 2006 at Deer Creek Cemetery. Fraley passed away March 18 at his home.
He is survived by his mother, Juanita Fraley of Salem; two daughters, April Fraley of Minnesota and Robin Fraley of Valparaiso; a stepdaughter, Charity Powell of Valparaiso; a brother, Danny Fraley of Smithland; four grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Fraley.
Mutter
TOWN OF WAUKECHON, Wisc. - Burnette V. Mutter, 91, passed away Feb. 7, 2006 at her home.
She attended St. Mary's Catholic School and St. Mary's Academy in South Milwaukee, Wisc., and worked as a nanny before she and her husband operated Mutters Tavern and Grocery Store for 32 years.
Surviving are a son, John Mutter Jr., of Town of Waukechon; a foster daughter, Nancy Doran of Shawano, Wisc.; a daughter-in-law, Edith Mutter of Marion; three brothers, Richard Thorn of Town of Waukechon, Clarence Thorn and Gene Thorn, both of South Milwaukee; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Mutter, Sr.; son, William Mutter; five brothers, Peter Thorn Jr., Edward Thorn, George Thorn, Robert Thorn and Raymond Thorn; and two sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Wilson and Helen Munia.
Services were Feb. 11 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Shawano, Wisc. Father Len Evers officiated with burial in St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery in Town of Waukechon.
Carter
Edith Carter, 83, of Marion, passed away March 19, 2006 at Crittenden County Health and Rehab.
Surviving are a daughter, Charlene Armstrong of Marion; a son, Billy Carter of Marion; a grandson, Tony Armstrong of Marion; a great-grandson, Shane Armstrong of Marion; and a sister, Betty Lou Hooks of Clarksville, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Carter; a grandson; a brother; a sister; and her parents, Roy and Vola England.
Services were March 22 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Tony Perryman and Rev. David Davis officiated. Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery.
Gibson
PROVIDENCE, Ky. - John Shirley Gibson, 61, passed away March 9, 2006 in Stuart, Fla. He was a member of River City Church in Owensboro. He was vice-president of Eastern Livestock Company. Surviving are his wife, Anna Gayle Gibson of Providence; three sons, John Todd (Janie) Gibson of Marion, Benjamin Wayne (Julie) Gibson of Providence and Rev. Brian Michael (Jessi) Gibson of Owensboro; a brother, Tommy (Patsy) Gibson of Lanesville, Ind.; and four grandchildren, Chelsea Ann and John Jacob Gibson of Marion and Kaitlin Gayle and Barrett Wayne Gibson of Providence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Alphretta Gibson.
Services were March 13 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Faughn officiating. Burial was in Big Hill Cemetery in Providence.
