Kentucky Marriage Records by County

Ferrell
John Fred Ferrell, 74, of Marion, passed away March 14, 2006 at Crittenden Hospital.
Surviving are a son, Randy Ferrell of Henderson; three sisters, Opal Hawkins of Marion, Francis McEwen of Marion and Grace Speter of Coldwater, Mich.; three brothers, Pete Ferrell of Paducah, Lyle Ferrell of Anna, Ill., and Ted Ferrell of Phoenix, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by two brothers; a sister; and his parents, John Logan and Mary Elizabeth Meyers Ferrell.
No funeral services were planned. Burial was in Crooked Creek Cemetery. Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Patton
FREDONIA, Ky. - Funeral services for Denver Patton, 86, were March 13, 2006 at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyvile. Rev. Lonnie Knight and Rev. Donnie Howton officiated the ceremony. Burial was in Dycusburg Cemetery.
Patton passed away March 11 at Crittenden Hospital.
He was a farmer and World War II Army Air Corps veteran and member of Seven Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Lola Mae Doom Patton; two sons, Marlin Patton and Randel Hardin, both of Fredonia; three daughters, Kay (Alan) Phillips of Versailles, Brenda (Sammy) Pollard of Dawson Springs and Donna (Russell) Martin of Princeton; three sisters, Estalee Zollinger of Corydon, Ella Mae Mitchell of Paducah and Bonnie Joiner of Lyon County; a brother, Ollie Patton of Crittenden County; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Wayne Hardin, Mickey Travis and Jana Sigler; a great-granddaughter, Jessica Cummings; and by his parents, Ollie "Guy" Patton and Lois McKinney Patton.

Guess
PADUCAH, Ky. - James Thomas Guess, 65, passed away March 13, 2006 at Western Baptist Hospital. He was a member of Heartland Worship Center and a retired self-employed general maintenance worker. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Koren Conflict and was a veteran of the National Guard.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Annetta Orendoff Guess; a daughter, Lisa Fox of Paducah; two sons, Charles Guess of Clinton and Ricky Guess of Paducah; two sisters, Virginia Freeman and Pat Raymor, both of Florida; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, James Robert Guess; a sister; and his parents, Herschel Lee and Mary Clayton Guess.
Services will be at 11 a.m., March 17 at Milner and Orr Funeral Home in Paducah. Rev. Johnny Sams will officiate. Burial will be in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Worship Center/Kids Zone, 4777 Alben Barkley Dr., Paducah, KY 42001.

Richardson
Mary Alice Richardson, 73, of Marion, passed away March 1, 2006 at Crittenden Hospital.
Services were March 4 at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial in Dunn Springs Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Richardson of Marion; three sons, Steven R. Smith, Walter Glen Smith and Jamie Richardson, all of Marion; four daughters, Wanda Swan, Brenda Jones and Janie Miller, all of Marion, and Marilyn Walton of Salem; two brothers, Houston Agent and Leroy Agent, both of Indiana; two step sons, Ricky Richardson of Marion and Tommy Richardson of Pacific, Mo.; several grandchildren and step grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Smith; her parents, John Wesley and Tedie May Agent; a granddaughter; a great-grandson; two sisters; and a brother.

Hunt
PADUCAH, Ky. - Funeral services for Lois Edna Hunt, 91, a native of Marion, will be held at 1 p.m., March 16, 2006 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner and Orr Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Ewing will officiate. Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery.
Hunt, a member of First Baptist Church of Paducah, passed away March 14, 2006 at Superior Care Home of Paducah.
She is survived by a sister, Martha E. Richardson of Paducah; and two nieces, Cheryle Bishop of Paducah and Charlotte Bean of Clinton, Mich.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Norman W. Gass. Her parents were Albert Earl and Beulah Asbridge Gass.

Loveless
BENTON, Ky. - Sherrie Michelle Loveless, 35, passed away March 11, 2006 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. She attended Full Gospel Tabernacle in Paducah.
Surviving are her husband, Darren Loveless of Benton; a son, Dalton Loveless of Benton; her parents, Mark and Carol Shumaker of Grand Rivers; a sister, Mandy Russell of Calvert City; her parents-in-law, David and Shirley Loveless of Benton; a brother-in-law, Damian Loveless of Murray; a nephew, Mark Allen Russell of Calvert City and a niece, Savannah Nicole Russell, also of Calvert City; grandparents-in-law, Allen and Hazel Hosick of Benton and D.C. and Edna Loveless of Frances, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert and Marie Boone and Henry and Martine Shumaker.
Services were March 14 at Boyd Funeral Home in Salem with Bro. Terry Phelps and Bro. Tim Sprouse officiating. Burial was in Loveless Chapel Cemetery.

Hamby
CLAY, Ky. - Richard Stephen Hamby, 53, passed away March 2, 2006 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville. He was a coal miner and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his mother, Jean Ryan* of Marion; four sisters, Paula McGill of Princeton, Jeannie Dulin of Eddyville, Vi Hurley of Marion and Robyn Wilson of Dixon; two brothers, Bobby Hamby of Marion and Woody Hamby of Clay; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leamon Hamby; a sister, Shirley Kirk; and a brother, Ollie Hamby.
Services were March 5 at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay. Bro. Danny Shuecraft officiated. Burial was in New Clay Cemetery.

Ryan
PRINCETON, Ky. - Imogene Ryan, 84, passed away March 6, 2006 at Crittenden Hospital. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Bobby Hamby of Marion and Phillip "Woody" Hamby of Providence; four daughters, Paula McGill of Princeton, Vilaine Hurley of Marion, Jeannie Dulin of Eddyville and Robyn Wilson of Morganfield; 19 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leamon Hamby; two sons, Ollie Hamby and Steve Hamby; and a daughter, Shirley Kirk. Her parents were Allen and Lillian Glasgow Driver.
Services were March 8 at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton. Rev. John Benton officiated. Burial was in Glenn's Chapel Cemetery in Lyon County.

Dykes
Gary Wayne Dykes, 45, of Marion, passed away March 4, 2006 at Crittenden Hospital. He was a member of Deer Creek Baptist Church. Dykes is a former employee of the Crittenden County Ambulance Service.
Surviving are his parents, Alton and Betty Dykes of Marion; a brother, Mike Dykes of Paducah; a sister, Sheila Tucker of Ledbetter; and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Gail Dykes; and his grandparents, Sydney and Carlene Dykes and Lloyd and Lola Champion.
Services were March 7 at Deer Creek Baptist Church with burial in Maplelawn Cemetery in Paducah. Officiating were Rev. Brad Hall, Rev. Jamie Baker and Rev. Dee Ann Thompson.
