Mildred Mae Belt Kirk Dickerson, 88, of Marion, passed away March 7, 2006 at Salem Springlake Health and Rehab. She was a member of Marion Baptist Church, a charter member of Burna Fire Department and a past member of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are two daughters, Sue (Jim) Williams of Marion and Barbara (Clarence) Grump of Bluff City, Tenn.; a son, Jim (Barbara) Kirk of Norco, Calif.; a brother, George Belt of Sturgis; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, P.G. Kirk; her second husband, John D. Dickerson; two daughters, Claire Neal Kirk and Martha Helen Lester; a sister, Oleta Taylor; and a granddaughter.
Services will be at 2 p.m., March 9 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Thurman and Rev. John East officiating. Burial will be in Hampton Cemetery.

Platfoot
Funeral services for Joel Platfoot, 42, of Marion, were held Feb. 28, 2006 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Tom Easley and Rev. David Winders officiated. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Platfoot passed away Feb. 24, 2006 at Salem Springlake Health and Rehab.
He was an Army veteran of the First Gulf War, was owner and operator of Generation Rock and Radio Internet Station, attended Barnett Chapel Church and was a member of the Crittenden County Dugout Club.
He is survived by his wife, Kelly Platfoot of Marion; a son, Deken Platfoot of Marion; a daughter, Skylar May of Kentucky; his mother, Linda Lou Cooper of Piqua, Ohio; his step father, Walt Cooper of Piqua; a sister, Holly Francis of Tipp City, Ohio; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jan and Richard Gregory of Marion; a step sister, Debbie Millet of Piqua; and a step brother, Walter Cooper, Jr., of Piqua.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Platfoot; his grandparents, Helen and Joel Little and Helen and Ernest Platfoot.

Brown
HOBART, Ind. - Carlton Stanley Brown, 59, formerly of Crittenden County, passed away Feb. 12, 2006 at the Jesse Brown V.A. Medical Center in Chicago.
He was a 1964 graduate of Crittenden County High School.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn; four daughters, Tina Louthan of Portage, Mich., Sheri Barneko of Laporte, Ind., Carla Brown of Valparaiso, Ind., and Christi Selby of Hobart, Ind.; a sister, Sue Doom of Eddyville; a brother, Dennis Brown of Franklin, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Dukealea Patton Brown; a brother, Keith Brown; and a sister, Patsy Joiner.
Reynolds
INVERNESS, Fla. - Jack Ransom Reynolds, 84, formerly of Marion, passed away Feb. 11, 2006 at the Hospice Care Unit of Citrus Memorial Hospital.
He was retired from the United State Air Force, a member of the VFW of Citrus County Florida and a life member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart.
Surviving are a daughter, Michael Goodwin of Mayfield; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Stout Reynolds; and his parents, Presley and Hazel James Reynolds.
Services were Feb. 26, 2006 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Lockhart
CORBIN, Ky. - Eva Mae Lockhart, 94, passed away Feb. 24, 2006 at Oaktree Hospital.
She was a retired nurses aid with Southeastern Kentucky Baptist Hospital for 19 years and a cook at Frances Elementary. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Corbin.
Surviving are two daughters, Connie Lockhart Walker of Marion and June Lockhart Delph of Corbin; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Lockhart; two sons, James R. Lockhart and Charles K. Lockhart; four brothers, Orbin Brummitte, Arthur Brummitte, Joel Brummitte and James Douglas Brummitte; four sisters, Mary Jane Brummitte, Ether Brummitte, Willie Gladys Brummitte and Ina Rhae Brummitte; a grandchild, Janis Walker Highfil; and two sons-in-law, Billie Delph and Randall Walker.
Services were at Gilbert Funeral Home Feb. 27 with Rev. J. Bill Jones officiating. Burial was in Mexico Baptist Church Cemetery. Corbin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Maddox
PALESTINE, Ill. - Velma Irene Maddox, 86, passed away Feb. 28, 2006 at Crawford Memorial Hospital Long Term Care Unit in Robinson, Ill.
She was a homemaker and member of Palestine First Christian Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Loretta Sue (Wade) Buntin of Marion and Sheila (Doug) McCammon of Palestine; and a son, Dennis (Brenda) Maddox of Marion; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Maddox; her parents, Sam and Pearl Lamb Richey; four brothers, Carl, Virgil and Eugene Richey and an infant brother; four sisters, Inez Goodlink, Opal Price, Ruth Laughead and a sister in infancy; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Mobley
Jerry Dean Mobley, 65, of Marion, passed away Feb. 23, 2006 at his home. Services were Feb. 25 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial was in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Mobley; a son, Gregory Mobley of Nashville; a daughter, Gina Underdown of Marion; two sisters, Deloris Boykin and Nancy Garrett, both of Princeton, Ind.; a brother, Charles Mobley of Mt. Vernon, Ind.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Anna May Mobley; and two brothers.
Lanham
Funeral services for Vivian I. Lanham, 88, will be held at 11 a.m., March 3 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. David Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery.
Lanham passed away Feb. 28 at Livingston Hospital. She was a member of Glendale Baptist Church.
Surviving are a sister, Imogene Wright of Marion; a grandson, Jamie Ray of Providence; a great-grandson, Zachary Ray of Marion; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lanham; and a daughter, Betty Ray.
Richardson
Mary A. Richardson, 73, of Marion, passed away March 1, 2006 at Crittenden Hospital.
Arrangements were incomplete at Gilbert Funeral Home as of press time Wednesday.
Dobbs
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Margaret Yandell Dobbs, 90, passed away Feb. 15, 2006 at Halifax Medical Center. She was born in Fredonia.
She was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Jeri Westerfield, Barbara Moss and Jane McColly; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Feb. 20 at Dale Woodward Funeral Home in Holly Hill, Fla., with Dr. David Cox officiating.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew S. and Doscia Freeman.
