BURNA, Ky. - Funeral services for William Aurel Threlkeld, 92, will be at 11 a.m., Feb. 16, 2006 at Boyd Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dyer Hill Cemetery.
Threlkeld, a member of Dyer Hill Baptist Church, passed away Feb. 11 at Salem Springlake Health and Rehab.
Surviving are a daughter, Ann (Jack) Wiley of West Branch, Iowa; two sons, Bill (Kay) Threlkeld of Carlsbad, N.M., and Jerry (Jeri) Threlkeld of Angola, Ind.; a brother, Donald (Alice) Threlkeld of Daytona Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Threlkled; and a grandson, Emil D. Threlkeld. His parents were Aurel Ross and Mary Golightly Threlkeld.
Butler
MARSHALL, Mich. - Milton Young Butler, 63, passed away Jan. 28, 2006 at Oaklawn Hospital.
He is survived by his parents, M.Y. "Little Hub" Butler and Bertha Rice Butler of Marshall; and a sister, Jeanette Butler of Brownstown, Mich.
Rev. Bill Hunt officiated funeral services Jan. 31 in Mapleview Cemetery.
Hamilton
Marvin Hamilton, 78, of Marion, passed away Feb. 14, 2006 at his home. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, was a retired safety coordinator for Kentucky Utilities after 38 years of service and was a 1945 graduate of Kuttawa High School.
Surviving are a son, David (Teresa) Hamilton of Owensboro; and two grandchildren, Jonas A. and Joshua D. Hamilton, both of Owensboro.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian K. Hamilton; a daughter, Mary Beth Hamilton; and his parents, Jonas and Molly Doom Hamilton.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Feb. 17 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Rob Ison officiating. Burial will be in Doom's Chapel Cemetery in Kuttawa.
Brasher
Austin Brasher, 93, of the Mexico community, passed away Feb 6, 2006 at Salem Springlake Health and Rehab Center. Funeral services were Feb. 8 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Cortis Hill officiating. Burial was in Mexico cemetery.
Surviving are a son, Dwight Brasher of the Mexico community; and a daughter, Janet Sergent of Westport.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Verna Mae Simpkins Brasher; and a sister. His parents were John Edward and Tennie Myers Brasher.
Hardin
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Randel Wayne Hardin, Jr., 44, passed away Jan. 26, 2006 at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Margie; two sons, Eric and Brenton; a daughter, Kerri; and a granddaughter Jazmin, all of Philadelphia; two brothers, Billy and Bobby Hardin, both of Marion; his father, Randel W. Hardin, Sr., and grandparents, Denver and Lola Mae Patton, all of Fredonia.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Arlene Hardin.
Services were held Jan. 30 at the David Richardson Funeral Home in Philadelphia, followed by cremation.
A private memorial service will be scheduled in Kentucky at a later date.
Wilson
LOLA, Ky. - Edna Evelyn Wilson, 90, passed away Feb. 3, 2006 at Crittenden Hospital. Funeral services were Feb. 5 at Boyd Funeral Home with Bro. William Jones and Bro. Jimmy Black officiating. Burial was in Lola Cemetery.
Surviving are a son, Blan Wilson, Jr., of Benton; three daughters, Mona Swinford of Frankfort, Darlene Hunter and Lois Chittenden, both of Salem; a sister, Helen Woodyard of Smithland; a brother, Dwayne Bebout of Evansville; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Blan Wilson, Sr.; two daughters, Katherine Jones and Edna Lee Belt; a son, James Wilson; two sisters; two brothers; and her parents, Alvin and Lillie Champion Bebout.
Peek
DYCUSBURG, Ky. - H. Ray Peek, 93, of Dycusburg passed away Jan. 13, 2006 at Crittenden Hospital.
He was a member of Dycusburg Masonic Lodge 232 and Dycusburg United Methodist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Steve Peek of Dycusburg and Neil Peek of Eddyville; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Rednour Peek; one daughter, June Smith; two brothers; and one sister. His parents were William Dave and Lula Walker Peek.
Services were Jan. 15 at Dunn's Funeral Home of Eddyville with Rev. Jim Keegan officiating. Burial was in Dycusburg Cemetery.
Shaffer
PRINCETON, Ky. - Funeral services for Charles P. Shaffer, 81, formerly of Crittenden County, were Jan. 29, 2006 at Morgan's Funeral Home. Rev. Tom Hughes and Rev. J. Bill Jones officiated. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Shaffer, a retired mechanic at SKW in Calvert City and retired maintenance employee with Princeton Housing Authority, passed away Jan. 25 at Princeton Health Care Manor.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary June Fletcher Shaffer; a son, John W. Shaffer of Princeton; two sisters, Shirley Allen of Owensboro and Margaret Cunningham of Paducah; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Bennie Lee Shaffer; an infant daughter, Cathy Shaffer; a sister, Virginia Dunn; and his parents, Ben and Ann Spencer Shaffer.
Fowler
FRANKLIN, Ky. - Christine Fowler, 89, formerly of Marion, passed away Jan. 27, 2006 at her home. Services were Jan. 31 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Garvey officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
She is survived by a nephew, Eddie Bruce Nunn of Marion; and two great-nieces, Debbie Crider of Marion and Jennye Cook of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by two brothers; and three sisters. Her parents were Robert and Mattie Wilson Fowler.

CONYERS, Ga. - Mary Elexzena Love, 93, formerly of Marion, passed away Jan. 25, 2006 at Portsbridge Hospice in Conyers. She was a member of Union Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Don Love of Snellville, Ga., and Gerald Love of St. Peters, Mo.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.W. Love; and a brother, Eugene Hodge. Her parents were Murry and Ila Brown Hodge.
Services were Jan. 29 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. A.C. Hodge officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery.
Hills
William Edgar "Bill" Hills, 79, of Marion, passed away Jan. 24, 2006 at Crittenden Hospital. He was a member of Sugar Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a World War II veteran of the British Army.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Carlene Travis Hills of Marion; a daughter, Paula Kelly of Russellville; two brothers, Ronald Hills and Terry Hills, both of England; two sisters, Christine Hills and Maureen Hills, both of England; and a granddaughter, Stephanie Kelly of Russellville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Percy and Elen Hampshire Hills; and a brother.
Services will be at 1 p.m., Jan. 26 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Morrow officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
