Dorothy Alexander, 82, of Marion passed away at 1:50 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2007 at Crittenden Hospital.
Survivors include grandchildren Kim (Tony) Floyd of Marion, and Michelle (Kevin) Garland of Benton; great-grandchildren, Kensley Bowerman of Benton, Rece Diles and Shelby Wahl of Marion; and step-grandchildren Amanda and Ally Floyd of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Alexander; and her daughter, Nancy Smith. Her parents were Burnie and Birdie Stone.
Funeral services are at 1 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 15 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Thurman and Rev. Steve Graham officiating. Burial will be at Crayne Cemetery. Visitation was from 5-9 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
Ferguson
Paulitt Ferguson of Citrus Heights, Calif., passed away on Oct. 18, 2007 in California.
She was born March 10, 1954 in Illinois and graduated from Providence High School in 1972 and from nursing school in Madisonville.
She worked as a licensed practical nurse for over 20 years and served in the U.S. Air Force.
Ferguson was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Providence.
Survivors include a son, Michael Hehir Jr., of Mt. Clements, Mich.; two daughters, Michelle David of Citrus Heights, and Christina Smith of Roseville, Mich.; her mother, Helen Ferguson of Providence; five grandchildren; and a brother, Joe Ferguson of Spring Creek, Nev.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17 at Dycusburg Cemetery in Crittenden County with Rev. Barry Cullen officiating.
Townsend, Jones and Erdman Funeral Home in Providence was in charge of arrangements.
Workman
Lyle E. Workman, 71, of Marion passed away at 11:05 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007 at Livingston Hospital.
He was a lifelong farmer.
Workman is survived by his wife of 51 years, Vivian Belt Workman of Marion; three sons, Larry Workman of Dry Ridge, Ky., and Barry and Gary Workman, both of Marion; a daughter, Sharon Smith of Marion; two brothers, Ted and Sidney Workman, both of Marion; three sisters, Nancy Byarley, Pearl Byarley and Betty Belt, all of Marion; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin P. and Leona Johnson Workman.
Funeral services were Saturday, Nov. 10 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Rev. Richard Gardner officiating. Myers Funeral Home in Marion was in charge of arrangements.
Lanham
Frances D. Lanham, 83, of Marion passed away at 1:55 p.m., Monday, Nov. 12, 2007 at Crittenden Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Gary Lanham of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Lanham.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Ramage
Roy Lee Ramage, 44, of Ledbetter passed away at 2:45 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007 at his residence. He was of the pentecostal faith.
Survivors include his mother, Edna Mae Ramage; a sister, Sue Peach; and a niece, Shavonna Peach-Bullock, all of Ledbetter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Erlin Ramage; and a sister, Sharon Ramage.
Visitation was after 11 a.m., Wednesday Loveless Chapel Pentecostal Church. Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Wednesday at the church with Bro. Carey Cowell and Bro. Tim Sprouse officiating. Burial was at Loveless Chapel Cemetery. Boyd Funeral Directors were in charge of arrangements.
Manus
Earl Wayne Manus, 69, of Crittenden County passed away at 1:44 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007 at his home. Complete obituary will be published next week. Morgan Funeral Home in Princeton is in charge of arrangements.
Jones
Bonnie Catherine Jones, 72, of Eddyville passed away at 12:38 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007 at the home of her daughter in Gleason, Tenn.
Jones was a retired manager of Palisades Resort in Lyon County and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church there.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Jeff) Darnall of Eddyville and Cindy Cosby of Gleason; a son, Stefan Ellington of Marion; seven grandchildren, Rommel Ellington, Stefanie Powell, Dawn Breedlove, Charles Breedlove, Brady Darnall, Sam Cosby and Clay Cosby; three great-grandchildren, Jake Ellington, Ian Ellington and Jacen Powell; a brother, Tom (Gladys) O’Bryan of Grand Rivers; two sisters, Martha (Roby) Kight of Kevil and Katie Tiller of Lyon County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Jones, and her parents, Floyd Henry O’Bryan and Elsie Rachel Downing O’Bryan.
Funeral services were Saturday, Nov. 10 at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville with Rev. Johnnie Davis and Rev. Jason Randall officiating. Burial was at Liberty Cemetery in Lyon County.

Wallace
Dorothy J. “Deanie” Wallace, 79, of Marion passed away at 10:51 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
She worked in retail sales for many years at Hick’s Dollar Store in Marion.
Survivors include two daughters, Cindy (Ricky) Guess of Bartlett, Tenn., and Jan (David) Davis of Smithland; three sons, Ed (Deb) Mitchell of Evansville, Greg Wallace and Mark (Rene) Wallace, both of Marion; her best friend, Carlisle Towery of Marion; two brothers, Donald Watson of Marion and Fred Watson of Kansas; three sisters, Oma Lee Dixon of Marion, Sud Rayburn of Smithland and Gracie Arflack of Sturgis; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Wallace was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Mertie Conger Watson; two sisters, Corine York and Velda Watson; and half-brother, Robert Fritts.
Services were Sunday, Nov. 11 at Myers Funeral Home in Marion with Bro. David Davis officiating.
Burial was at Mapleview Cemetery in Marion.
Kinnis
Lona M. Kinnis, 85, of Hobart, Ind., passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007 at St. Anthony In-Patient Hospice in Crown Point, Ind.
She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Hobart and formerly a very active member of Grace United Methodist Church in Glen Park, Ind.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn (Anthony) Cardenas of Portage, Ind.; two sons, Gary (Debbie) Kinnis of Jamestown, N.Y., and Ted (Marcia) Kinnis of Munster, Ind.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dottie Martin of Highland, Ind., and Jane Retke of California; and several nieces and nephews.
Kinnis was preceded in death by her husband, Kavid Kinnis; her parents, William H. Davis and Leah Owen Davis; three brothers, William L. Davis, Delvas H. Davis and James R. Davis; and one sister, Margaret Cassell.
Funeral services were Nov. 12 at Geisen Funeral Home in Merrillville, Ind., with Rev. Alex N. Stone officiating. Burial was at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville.

Deryl Son, 84, of the Walnut Grove community passed away at 9:04 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007 at his residence in Caldwell County.
He was a retired mechanic, had worked at Robinson Implement for 42 years and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mildred Austin Son; a son, Renee Son of Caldwell County; and three brothers, Denver Son of Louisville, Garret Son of Newburgh, Ind., and Roy Son of Hansen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert Randal Son and Gladys Lavina Dorris Son; and a sister, Beryl Son.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14 at Morgan Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial was a Rowland Cemetery in Caldwell County.
