Services for Ruby Lee Powell McCormick, 74, of Clay, were held March 3, 1999 at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay. Burial was in Pride-Bordley Cemetery in Pride.
McCormick passed away March 1 at her home.
McCormick was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Webster County.
McCormick is survived by three daughters, Edith Dutton and Judith Hall of Clay and Ruth Ann Clayton of Providence; two sons, Morris Lynn McCormick and Aubrey McCormick; four grandchildren, Mark Dutton, Brian Dutton, Tommy Hall and Jason Clayton; and three great-grandchildren, Bethany Dutton, Brock Dutton and Brendon Hall.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris McCormick; and eight brothers and sisters.
Schnee
Robbie Lee Brantley Schnee, 79, of Evansville, Ind., passed away Feb. 28, 1999 at her home.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., March 4 at Browning Funeral Home in Evansville with Rev. Don Moore officiating. Burial will be in Blackburn Cemetery in Marion.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Southern Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Patsy Ann Hape of Evansville; a sister, Virgie Goodman of Evansville; two grandsons, Mark Allen Hape of Cleveland, Tenn., and Thomas Andrew Hape of Jacksonville, Fla.; and three great-grandchildren, Megan, Nick and Paige Hape.
She was preceded in death by her husband.

Alvey
Funeral services for Lura Mae Alvey, 83, of Henderson, were held March 2, 1999 at Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Orbley Ramsey officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Alvey passed away Feb. 27 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.
She was a member of Lawndale Baptist Church. Alvey was retired from Sonoco Products in Henderson.
Survivors include a daughter, Bernice Knight of Marion; a son, R.J. Shoulders of Henderson; two sisters, Ruth Phipps of Evansville, Ind., and Geraldine Thomason of Henderson; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jerome V. Alvey.
Driver
Funeral services for Ruble Driver, 73, of Marion, were held March 1, 1999 at Boyd Funeral Chapel. Rev. Clinton Belt officiated. Burial was in Tyner's Chapel Cemetery.
Driver passed away Feb. 27 at Livingston Hospital.
Survivors include his wife Hazel Driver of Marion; five daughters, Barbara Woodall, Betty Cowan, Velda McKinney of Marion, Shirley Puckett of Grand Rivers and Greta Joiner of Salem; two sons, Rueben Driver of Salem and Donnie Driver of Florida; his mother Martha Driver of Ridgeway, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
Sturm
Mildred Dunning Hardesty Sturm, 84, of Tampa, Fla., passed away Feb. 13, 1999. She was a native of Marion.
Surviving are four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Brown
Charles Luther Brown, 71, of Salem, passed away Feb. 24, 1999 at Crittenden Hospital. Graveside services at Union Cemetery were held Feb. 26 with Rev. Roger Rice officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Brown of Salem; three daughters, Charlotte Edmonds of Lancaster, Cal., Charlene Woodruff and Nancy Asbridge of Salem; a son William "Hi" Hardin of Marion; a sister, Juanita Pierce of Portage, Ind.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son and a sister.
Millikan
Services for Margaret Arley Wing Millikan, 87, of Marion, were held Feb. 27 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Phillips and Rev. Tim Baker officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
She passed away Feb. 24, 1999 at Crittenden Hospital.
Millikan was a member of Marion General Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Otis Millikan of Marion and Douglas Millikan of Princeton; four grandchildren, Sandra Williams, Jeanna Sevy, Darron Millikan and David Millikan; and three great-grandchildren Zachary Williams, Micah Sevy and Taylor Sevy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Lloyd Millikan; and a sister Daisy Wing Gass.
Dunkerson
Funeral services for Lucille Dunkerson, 86, of Salem, were held March 3, 1999 at Boyd Funeral Chapel with Rev. Charles Brantley officiating. Burial was in Hampton Cemetery.
She passed away Feb. 28 at Oakview Nursing Home in Calvert City.
Dunkerson was the oldest member of the Hampton United Methodist Women.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Potts of Tiline and Virginia Carrol Nagers of Maryland; a brother, Lal Curry and a sister Myrtle Groves of Burna; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Champion; her second husband, Lewis Dunkerson; a son; and a brother.
Abell
Services for Clarence W. Abell Sr., 85, of Marion, were held March 1 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. A.C. Hodge and Rev. Jerry Thurman officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Abell passed away Feb. 26, 1999 at Crittenden Hospital.
He was a member of Second Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth "Libby" Abell; two sons, Wesley Abell of Clarksville, Ind., and Douglas Abell of Holland, Mich.; two daughters, Darlene Drake of Middlebury, Ind., and Carolyn Lueken of Evansville, Ind.; a sister, Ruby Tate of Nokomis, Fla.; three brothers, Forrest Abell of Birdseye, Ind., William Abell of Evansville and Wayne Abell of Leesburg, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Angela Abell and Betty Luker.
