Christopher Russell, 26, of Kuttawa, formerly of Clay, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at his home.
Survivors include his parents Rodney and Gina Russell of Kuttawa; three brothers, Michael Russell and Alex Russell of Kuttawa and Drew Russell of Clay; grandparents, Gerald and Mona Russell of Clay and Barbara Cherry of Marion.
The funeral was held at 1 p.m., Friday, July 27 at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay. Burial was at Dycusburg Cemetery in Dycusburg.

Nance
Bonita H. Nance, 89, of Sebree, formerly of Marion, passed away at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.
Born in Nebo Nov. 27, 1917, she was a homemaker and a Christian.
Surviving are a son, Charles Hale of Lawrence, Kan.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Nance was preceded in death by her husband, William Arthur Nance, and a daughter, Ruth L. Oglesby.
A private graveside service was held Thursday, Aug. 2 at Onton Cemetery in Webster County. Myers Funeral Home in Marion was in charge of arrangements,
Hobbs
Ronnie Hobbs, 57, of Marion passed away at 6:27 p.m., Sunday, July 29, 2007 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind. He had been involved in a motorcycle accident earlier in the day in rural Crittenden County.
Hobbs was a member of the Carrsville Masonic Lodge 812, United Mine Workers Association and International Order of Machinists.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Hobbs; his mother, Juanita Hobbs; a daughter, Angie O’Leary; a stepson, Jacob Wood; sister, Patsy Payne; five grandchildren, Dalton Wood, Aaron O’Leary, Tiffany O’Leary, Sean O’Leary and Erik O’Leary, all of Marion.
Hobbs was preceded in death by his father, Harold “Poochie” Hobbs.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 1 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Porter officiating. Burial was in Whites Chapel Cemetery. Masononic Rites were given at the funeral home Tuesday.
Hebbeler
Avanelle Postlethweight Hebbeler, 91, of Evansville, Ind., passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Deaconess Hospice Care Center in Evansville.
She was born June 30, 1916 in Crittenden County to parents Charles and Mary Ann Cook Postlethweight and she graduated from Marion High School. She married
Elmer F. Hebbeler March 19, 1946.
Hebbeler is survived by three daughters, Barbara “Sue” Hebbeler of Evansville, Kathleen A. Hebbeler of Sardis, Miss., and Karen and husband of Hale, Mich.; a son, Steven F. Hebbeler; a sister, Marian Hutchinson of Newburgh, Ind.; a brother, Charles C. Postlethweight of Evansville.
Funeral services were Friday, July 20 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel in Evansville. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Wagoner
Buddy Franklin Wagoner, 52, of Dyersburg, Tenn., formerly of Livingston County passed away Monday, July 30, 2007 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tenn.
Surviving are his mother, Arla Givens of Carrsville; a son, Bradley Wagoner of Towanda, Ill.; brothers, Roy Givens of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Billy Givens of Lola; sisters, Debbie Ryburn and Cherrie Baker, both of Bloomington, Ill., Donna Baird of Ellsworth, Ill., Pam Novel of Normal, Ill., Bobbie Jacobs of Joy, Milly Suits and Sally Shuecraft, both of Salem, and Wendy, Suzie and Margie Wagoner of Indiana; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Wagoner; his stepfather, Roy Givens; and two nephews.
Services are at 1 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 2 at Boyd Funeral Chapel with Bro. Virgil Dial officiating. Burial will be at Deer Creek Cemetery. Visitation was from 5-9 p.m., Aug. 1.
Paris
Shelby L. “Littleman” Paris, 84, of the Mexico community in Crittenden County passed away at 8:24 a.m., Sunday, July 22, 2007 at Crittenden Hospital.
A member of the Mexico Baptist Church, Paris was married
to wife Effie Nell Paris, who survives, for 63 years.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Bennett; two brothers, John and Shelton Paris; two sisters, Mary McKinney and Dorothy Parrish; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were Tuesday at 11 a.m., at Frances Cemetery. Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Other survivors include two daughters, Carol (Eddie) Baker and Jeannie Baker, both of Fredonia; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Smallwood of Evansville and several nieces and nephews.
Scott
Robert W. Scott, 70, of Aliquippa, Penn., passed away Thursday, July 19, 2007, at his residence.
Born, May 17, 1937, in Marion, son of the late Ross and Emma Scott and a graduate of Crittenden County High School, he worked for U.S. Steel in Gary, Ind., and also American Bridge in Ambridge, Penn., where he eventually retired.
Scott is survived by three sons, Robin Scott, Rich Scott and Randy Scott, and three daughters, Deborah (Scott) Gregory, Darla (Scott) Fratangeli, and Dawn Scott. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson as well as many nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue (Humphries) Scott; two brothers, Will and Tom Scott; and three sisters, Gretna Scott, Nellie Scott Hodge Prevatte and Robbie Scott Tucker.
A private service was held for immediate family on Monday, July 23 at Tatalovich Funeral Home in Aliquippa, Penn. Burial will be in the family plot in Old Pleasant Hill Cemetery in the Creswell Community of Caldwell County.
Stinnett
Helen Stinnett, 80, of Crittenden County passed away at 10:28 p.m., Monday, July 16, 2007 at Salem Springlake Health & Rehab Center in Salem.
A member of the Caldwell Springs Baptist Church, Stinnett was a homemaker and wife of 53 years to husband Vernon “Cap” Stinnett, who survives. She was also a Kentucky Colonel.
Her parents were Roy Atwell Hamby and Grace Perkins Hamby.
Survivors include a son, Jimmy R. Stinnett of Crittenden County; a granddaughter Lesa Carol Stinnett of Princeton; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Bill Hamby of Stockton, Calif., Buck Hamby of Marion, Harold Hamby of Princeton and Steve Hamby of Kuttawa; three sisters, Norma McPherson of Eddyville, Sandra Lockhart of Princeton and Rita Joiner of Eddyville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy Hamby, Dennis Hamby and Donnie Brindley and four sisters, Edna Campbell, Dorothy Dycus Whitner, Betty Owen and Hazel Tubbs.
Services were July 19 at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville with Rev. Lonnie Knight and Rev. Shoney Oliver officiating. Burial was at Dycusburg Cemetery in Dycusburg.
Beshears
William Ray “Billy” Beshears, 60, of Marion passed away at 10:15 p.m., Sunday, July 15, 2007 at his home.
Born on April 4, 1947, Beshears was an independent oil and gas producer.
He is survived by four daughters, Lauren Raye Beshears, Pensacola, Fla., Mary Caroline Beshears, Rebecca Lynne Beshears and Sarah Louise Beshears, all of Owensboro; an aunt, Rena Mae Beshears of Marion; a sister, Tanya Brann of Marion; and two grandchildren.
Beshears was preceded in death by his parents William H. and Evelyn Wright Beshears.
Graveside service was July 19 with Rev. Cortis Hill officiating. Burial was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Marion.
Myers Funeral Home in Marion was in charge of arrangements.
Wilson
Lama E. Wilson, 89, of Salem, passed away July 10, 2007 at Lourdes Hospital. She was a member of New Union General Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna (Chuck) Brannam of Salem and Eva Jean (Tom) Thetford of Paducah; a sister, Dorothy Shoemaker of Salem; three grandchildren, Greg Weaver of Paducah, Brian Brannam of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., and Jana Brannam of Salem; two great-grandchildren, Caitlin Weaver of Paducah and David Brannam of Mt. Juliet.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Ida Watson Madry; her husband, Albert Wilson; and a sister, Vera Slayden.
Services were July 13 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. David Davis officiating. Burial was in Lola Cemetery.
