Pam Eberle Allen Jackson, 37, of Marion, passed away July 11, 2007 at Livingston Hospital. She attended Unity General Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Freddie Jackson of Marion; a son, William Paul Allen of Marion; two daughters, Chelsea Danielle Allen of Marion and Chloe Elizabeth Jackson of Marion; her parents, Bill and Loretta Eberle; and her grandmother, Betty Garner of Augusta, Ga.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William "Little Bill" Eberle; grandparents Willard Etheridge and Grady and Lillie Mae Eberle.
Services were July 14 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Hix officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Sorrell
Bob Sorrell, 65, of Hampton, passed away July 13, 2007 at Livingston Hospital. He was a member of Hampton United Methodist Church, the Burna American Legion and owned Bob's Body Shop.
Funeral services were July 15 at Boyd funeral Home. Bro. Gary Hardesty officiated. Burial was in Hampton Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife of 24 years, Grace E. Sorrell; a son, Bobby Sorrell of Titusville, Fla.; a sister, Doris Sorrell of Monticello, Ind.; and two brothers, John Sorrell and Carl Sorrell, both of Monticello.
Freeman
Charles Anthony Freeman, 19, of Marion passed away July 7, 2007 at Caldwell County Hospital.
He was a member of Union Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Freeman of Murray; a brother, Andrew Freeman of Marion; a sister, Casey Freeman of Marion; and his grandparents, Charles O. and Norma Freeman of Marion and Janet Kirk of Calvert City.
Freeman was preceded in death by his father Charles Robert Freeman.
The funeral was held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, July 10 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Jamie Baker officiating. Burial was at Deer Creek Cemetery.
Cosby
Nellie E. Cosby, 84, of Burna passed away at 6:25 p.m., Friday, July 6, 2007 at Crittenden Hospital.
She was a member of Burna Independent Missionary Baptist Church for more than 50 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Diann Koon of Salem and Lisa Woodall of Marion; a sister, Lucy King of Jacksonville, Ill.; one brother, Dwayne Hurley of Michigan; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Cosby was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Cosby; a son, Elbridge Cosby; three brothers and one sister. Her parents were Roy Hurley and Ethel Adkinson Hurley.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 10 at Burna Indpendent Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Sexton officiating. Burial was at McMurray Chapel Cemetery. Boyd Funeral Directors of Salem were in charge of arrangements.
Watson
Mable Maybell Watson, 89, of Marion passed away at 6 p.m., Sunday, July 8, 2007 at Crittenden Hospital.
She was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include a son, Dale (Gloria) Watson of Willow Spring, Mo.; a daughter, Caron (Paul) Carlock of Pekin, Ill.; two other sons; one additional daughter; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Watson was preceded in death by her husband, Burnice Watson; four brothers, James, C.B., Clinton and Harley Belt; two sisters, Methal “Tooter” Keeling and Phillis Belt; a half sister, Laddie Manhart; two half brothers; Ervin and Lincoln Belt; and her parents, George and May (Bradden) Belt.
Visitation is from 9:30 a.m., until 11 a.m., Thursday, July 12. Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m., Thursday at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare, Ill., with Rev. Roy Holtzclaw officiating. Burial will be at the Flourine Cemetery in Rosiclare.
Walker
Romie Almont Walker, 67, of Henderson, formerly of Marion, passed away at 5:26 a.m., Monday, July 9, 2007 at Morganfield Nursing and Rehab Center.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving are two sisters, Shirley Melloy of Sturgis and Virginia Hinton of Henderson.
His parents were Romie and Ruby Walker.
Graveside services were Wednesday, July 11 at Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis with Rev. Don Phelps officiating. Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis was in charge of arrangements.
East
Raybert Allen “Sonny” East, 64, of Eddyville, formerly of Marion, passed away at 7:48 a.m., Friday, July 6, 2007 at his home.
Surviving are his daughters, Tammi Head of Eddyville; three sons, Rocky and Ronnie East of Marion and Roger East of Brunswick, Ohio; his parents Robert and Dorothy Guess East of Henderson; a brother, Roy East of Henderson; a sister, Carolyn East of Henderson; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, July 9 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Rodney Wallace officiating.

Travis
Bulah K. Travis, 95, of Opa Locka, Fla., formerly of Marion, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at her home.
She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Clark of Summerfield, Fla.; a son, Richard Travis of Opa Locka; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Wallace Arflack of Marion; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvis Travis; one daughter, Martha Wheeler; a son, Joe Travis; two sisters and one brother. Her parents were Joe and Nona Arflack.
Graveside services were June 7 at Dade North Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements were by Lithgow Bennett Philbrick Funeral Home of North Miami, Fla.
McKinley
Services for Geneva McKinley, 90, of Marion, will be held at 2 p.m., July 12, 2007 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Sister Lucy Tedrick will officiate.
McKinley passed away July 9 at Crittenden Hospital.
She is survived by two daughters, Faye Conger and Sarah Hamby, both of Marion; two sons, Bill McKinley of Marion and Robert McKinley of Calloway, Fla.; four sisters, Florence Jones, Alta Davidson and Wilma Robertson, all of Marion, and Rosa Nell Rodgers of Lake Station, Ind.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and 10 step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmie McKinley; two sons-in-law, Ollie Hamby and Charles Conger; and a sister, Gertrude Millikan.
Burial will be at Rosebud Cemetery in rural Crittenden County. Visitation was from 5-9 p.m., Wednesday.
Poindexter
Jim Poindexter, 60, of Princeton, passed away July 9, 2007 at Crittenden Health and Rehab. He was a member and deacon at Chapel Hill Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m., July 12 at Morgan's Funeral Home. Rev. Tom Keim will officiate with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Vera Baker Poindexter; a son, Kevin Poindexter of Princeton; a daughter, Kandi Poindexter of Princeton; a brother, Lynn Poindexter of Caldwell County; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Alma Griffith Poindexter.
