Helen E. McDaniel, 87, of Marion passed away March 8, 2007 at Crittenden County Hospital. She was a member of Marion Chapter of Eastern Star.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna (Deonn) Williams of Salem; a sister, June Enoch of Marion; three grandchildren, Darrin (Roseann) Williams, DeAnn (Darrell) McDonald and Debbie (David) Collins; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Noble McDaniel and two brothers. Her parents were Eston and Flora Hughes.
Services were held March 10 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Thurman officiating. Interment was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Clark
GREENWOOD, Ind. Doris Louise Clark, 81, formerly of Marion, passed away March 11, 2007 at Greenwood Village Nursing Home.
She was a member of Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by six sons, Michael Patrick Clark of Franklin, Ind., George Kelly Clark of Westchester, Ohio, Clifford Hughes Clark and Roger Steven Clark, both of Indianapolis, Ind., Gregory Wayne Clark of Avon, Ind., and James Martin Clark of Evansville, Ind.; two daughters, Pamela Kay Dellen of Indianapolis and Norma Jean Neal of Norfold, West Va.; 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Clark. Her parents were Martin Luther and Martha Ann Clift.
Services are at 10 a.m., March 15 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Grace officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Brown
HARDYVILLE, Va. Ted Anthony Andy Brown, 47, formerly of Marion, passed away March 5, 2007.
He is survived by a son, Chris Sharpe of Fort Washington, Md.; his father, Ted M. Brown of Hardyville, Va.; a sister, Candy Frisbee of Middleburg, Fla.; and a brother Jamie Joe Brown of Jacksonville, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Brown.
Services were at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home in Saluda, Va., March 10. A graveside service was held at Repton Cemetery on March 13. Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
Hughes
PRINCETON, Ky. Burnace Hughes, 76, passed away March 9, 2007 at Princeton Health and Rehab Center following a long illness.
He was a retired machine operator of special metals. He is survived by his wife, Ledley Lee Hughes of Priceton; one son, Thomas Hughes of Evansville, Ind.; two daughters, Lorna Hollowell of Owensboro and Terry McDonald of Evansville; two step-sons, Byron Boyd and Quentin Boyd, both of Princeton; one brother, Garland Hughes of Dayton, Ohio; two sisters, Thelma Momon of Milwaukee, Wisc., and Bertha Copeland of Princeton; his mother-in-law, Ann Lee of Morganfield; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, James Kenneth Hughes and Robert Douglas Hughes. His parents were Lacy Hughes and Narcissia Mills Hughes.
Services will be at 1 p.m., March 16 at St. James Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Oscar Powell. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Howerton
Willie Perry Howerton, 84, of Marion passed away March 9, 2007 at Livingston Hospital.
She was a member of Dunn Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Howerton; a son, Wayne Howerton; a daughter, Melinda Brasher, all of Marion; a sister Lois Sandefur of Henderson; four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Her parents were Robert Howard and Charles Ora Ford Fritts.
Services were held March 12 at Gilbert Funeral Home with interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Clayton
PRINCETON, Ky. Barbara Ann Clayton, 63, formerly of Marion, passed away March 9, 2007 at Princeton Health and Rehab Center.
She was a member of Hardmoney Baptist Church in Paducah.
She is survived by two sons, Terry Boone of Princeton and Jeff Boone of Orlando, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother. Her parents were Robert and Mary Guess Clayton.
Services were held March 12 at Gilbert Funeral Home with interment at Shady Grove Cemetery.

Binkley
BURNA, Ky. Don Binkley, 72, passed away March 10, 2007 at Livingston Hospital.
He was retired from Carpenters & Pipefitters Local #357.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Binkley; a daughter, Donna Michele (David) Bebout of Hampton; four sisters, Vanda Engler of Burna, Dorris Moffett of Evansville, Ind., Mary Girardot of Central, Ariz., and Helen Cooper of Reidland; one brother, James C. Binkley of Burna and two grandchildren, Cyndel Bebout and Terry Bebout, both of Hampton.
His parents were James C. and Sally Elizabeth Ramage Binkley.
Services were held March 13 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Wring officiating. Burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Stokes
GRAND RIVERS, Ky. Billy Ray Stokes, 65, passed away March 8, 2007 at Lourdes Hopsital in Paducah.
He was retired from TVA and was an Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Martha Stokes; two sons, Shane Stokes and Steve Stokes, all of Grand Rivers, two grandchildren and two great-grandchilidren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Farris. His parents were William Ray Stokes and Claudine Sledd.
Services were March 10 at Smith Funeral Chapel with Rev. Willie Guess officiating. Burial was in Grove Chapel Cemetery.
Cox
Ruth Cox, 86, of Marion, passed away March 3, 2007 at Christian Care Health Center in Hopkinsville. She was a member of Marion Baptist Church and the Marion chapter of he Eastern Star.
Surviving are a son, Eddie Cox of Clarkston, Mich.; a daughter, Carolyn Ledford of Greenville, N.C.; a brother, George Bud Foster of Salem; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bill Cox; and a sister. Her parents were Coleman and Nelle Foster.
Services were March 5 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Mac Dossett officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.

Winders
Charline Winders, 88, of Marion, passed away March 4, 2007 at Crittenden Health and Rehab.
She is survived by three daughters, Brenda Easley and Ann Murray, both of Edgewater, Fla., and Faye Duncan of Marion; three sons, James F. Winders and Doug Winders, both of Marion, and Bobby Winders of Edgewater, Fla.; a brother, J.W. Floyd of Marion; a sister, Wanda Hunt of Marion; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Alvin Winders; a son, Bill Winders; two sisters; a brother; and her parents, Valentine and Ethel Lewis Floyd.
Services were March 6 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Herbert Alexander and Rev. Heath Martin officiated. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
