Services for Velda Louise Drake, 84, of Marion, were March 7, 2007 at Myers Funeral Home. Rev. John East and Rev. Jerry Thurman officiated. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Drake passed away March 4 at Salem Springlake Care Center. She was a member of Marion Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Georganna Tabor of Morganfield and Reita McDonald of Marion; two sons, Bobby Holloman of Marion and Anthony Drake of Louisville; a brother, Kenneth Davidson of Memphis, Tenn.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Holloman; her second husband, Doug Drake; two brothers; and two sisters. Her parents were Roy and Vie McClure Davidson.

Davis
Marcia Mae Davis, 74, of Marion, passed away Feb. 28, 2007 at her home. She was a member of Marion General Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Nicky Davis of Marion; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Davis; a daughter, Porcia Woodall; and two sisters.
Services were March 3 at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial in Belles Mines Cemetery.
Leidecker
SALEM, Ky. – Ernestine B. Leidecker, 84, passed away Feb. 28, 2007 at Salem Springlake Health and Rehab. She attended East Side Holliness Church in Paducah.
Services were March 3 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Pitts officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Surviving are a daughter, Landa Martin of Gilbertsville; three sons, Donnie Leidecker of Salem, Joe Leidecker of Jacksonville, Fla., and Bobby Leidecker of West Paducah; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one step great-grandchild; one great-great-grandson; and one step great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, L.E. Leidecker; her second husband, Noble Taylor; two sisters; and one brother. Her parents were Richard Howe and Roxie Roach Howe.
Clayton
HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Fred Clayton, 82, formerly of Princeton, passed away Feb. 21, 2007 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Clayton was a retired teacher and coach. His first football coaching job was at Marion High School.
He is survived by his wife, Dean Beard Clayton; a son, Craig Clayton of Franklin, Tenn.; a daughter, Carol Birdsong of Brentwood, Tenn.; a sister, Sue Winebarger of Madisonville; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Dean Clayton; and a brother. His parents were Aubrey Clayton and Frances Hancock Clayton.
Services were Feb. 23 at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Harris
Joliet, Ill. – William Robert "Bob" Harris, 42, passed away Feb 17, 2007 at his home. He was a union painter, handyman and currently a sub-contractor through Menards.
Survivors include his mother, Princeton native Phyllis Hopper Paul and stepfather, Jerry Paul, William and Betty Harris, and Lenny Robbins; a son, Brandon Harris; a daughter, Nicole Harris; a sister, Rita Harris; and two brothers, Richard Harris and Robby Robbins.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald D. Harris in 1991; his maternal grandparents, Novella Teasley and Leonard Hopper; and paternal grandparents Monroe and Alice Harris,
Services were Feb. 24, at at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home in Joliet, Ill.
Private burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Crawford
PRINCETON, Ky. – Danny Crawford, 42, passed away Feb. 20, 2007 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
Crawford was an EMT for Crittenden County Ambulance Service, a member of Northside Baptist Church in Princeton, the Lyon County Bass Club and Joppa Masonic Lodge No. 167 in Eddyville. He was a former member of Lyon County Rescue Squad, Kuttawa Fire Department and Area II Dive Team in Madisonville.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Smith Crawford; two sons, Jace Crawford at home and Mark Crawford of Salisbury, N.C.; a daughter, Shirley Crawford of Salisbury, N.C.; his mother and stepfather, Marie and Kerry Rouze of Asheboro, N.C.; his father, Arvel James Crawford of Hollywood, Fla.; three brothers, Patrick Dallas of Randleman, N.C., Ben Crawford and Arvel Crawford, both of Hollywood, Fla.; and two sisters, Brittney Rouze of Asheboro, N.C., and Tina Crawford of Hollywood, Fla.
Services were Feb. 23 at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville with Rev. Jeff French officiating. Burial was in Rolling Hills Cemetery.

Asbridge
James Herman Asbridge, 61, of Marion, passed away Feb. 24, 2007 at his home. Services were Feb. 27 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial was in Freedom Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Brenda Asbridge; a son, Eddie Asbridge of Marion; a daughter, Stacy Asbridge of Calvert City; six half brothers and sisters; and three cousins.
McDonald
Gloria Belt McDonald, 68, of Marion, passed away Feb. 21, 2007 at her home. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Danny Belt of Marion; a daughter, Tina Arlene Rushing of Marion; a grandson, Wesley Belt of Fredonia; two brothers, Darrell Lee Belt of Marion and William A. “Bill” Belt of Benton.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Buddy Belt; her second husband, Wayne McDonald; and a son, Ricky Belt.
Services were Feb. 24, 2007 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Alexander officiating. Burial was in Freedom Cemetery.
Smith
LEDBETTER, Ky. – Sue “Cassie” Hall Smith, 88, passed away Feb. 25, 2007 at Livingston Hospital. She was a member of Ohio Valley Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Stan Hall of Smithland; two sisters, Elizabeth Doodie Henry and Jessie Lee “Dirt” Noles, both of Ledbetter; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William H. Hall; her second husband, Robert “Bob” Smith; a daughter, Patricia Ann Hall Jeffrey; a brother; and a sister.
Services were Feb. 28 at Smith Funeral Chapel with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Kenley
NEWBURGH, Ind. – June Samanns Schillinger Kenley, 80, formerly of Evansville and Sturgis, respectively, passed away Feb. 21, 2007 at the VNA Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville.
Schillinger retired from the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation where she worked in the cafeteria as a cook at Scott School from 1956-1990.
She is survived by a son, Austin Samanns of Newburgh; a grandson, three great-grandsons; and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Kenley in 1998.
Services were Feb. 23 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Rev. Noble Cobb and Pastor Troy Boulware with burial at Centenary Cemetery in Evansville.
