Crouch passed away Jan. 12 at Crittenden Hospital.
He was a member of Crooked Creek Baptist Church.
Burial was in Tyners Chapel Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Doris L. Crouch; a son, Eugene Glen Crouch II of West Liberty, Ohio; a daughter, Marilyn Elizabeth Beckham of Valparaiso, Ind.; a brother, James Allen Crouch of California; a grandchild; and two step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers; three sisters; and his parents, John and Mary Hall Crouch.
York
LeeRoy York, 71, of Marion, passed away Jan. 4, 2007 at Crittenden Hospital.
He attended Unity General Baptist church in Crayne.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda York; two daughters, Debbie Heady of Belleville, Ill., and Kim Steeley of Eddyville; a son, Dempsey York of Marion; three stepsons, Terry Lee Banks of Dixon and Harry Wayne Banks and Ralph Eugene Banks, both of Henderson; two sisters, Pauline Writtenberry of Marion and Rose Hoyne of Summerfield, Fla.; a brother, Robert “Buddy” York of Marion; seven grandchildren; five step grandchildren; and seven step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, David York; a stepson, Billy Joe Banks; two brothers; and a sister.
Services were Jan. 6 at Unity General Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Hardesty, Rev. Buddy Hix and Rev. Tony Perryman officiating.
Burial was in Love Cemetery.
Buckman
HENDERSON, Ky. – Services for Larry Lee “Buck” Buckman, 66, formerly of Marion, will be at 10 a.m., Saturday at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Henderson.
Rev. Ted Burke and Rev. Gary Turner will officiate with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Friday and until service time Saturday.
Buckman passed away Jan. 9 at his home.
He was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Mary Beth Bellew Buckman; a daughter, Cynthia Ann (Greg) Fuller of Covington; two sons, Byron Keith (Terri) Buckman of Henderson and Jason Lee (Sondi) Buckman of Robards; a sister, Margaret Buckman Nally of Owensboro; a brother, Jim (Marie) Buckman of Atlanta; a sister-in-law, Margaret Buckman of Warner Robins, Ga.; and six grandchildren, Ryan and Chelsea Buckman, Thomas and Rachel Fuller and Tyler and Chase Buckman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, L.E. “Buck” and Carmon Levenia Wagganer Buckman.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice, the Ryan Owens Building Fund at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.

Davidson
Marion M. “Pete” Davidson, 81, of Marion, passed away Jan. 8, 2007 at Western Baptist Hospital.
Services were Jan. 10 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Davis officiating.
Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Randy Davidson of Reidland and Ronnie Davidson of Marion; a granddaughter, Crystal Engler of Reidland; and a great-grandson, Hayden Engler, also of Reidland.
Davidson was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie Davidson.
Brown
PRINCETON, Ky. – Edward Brown, 89, passed away Jan. 3, 2007 at Caldwell County Hospital.
He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II.
He graduated from Butler High School in 1935, moved to Detroit, Mich., and attended Meinzinger Art School until enlisting in the Army Medical Department.
He was discharged as first lieutenant in 1946.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Marie Six Brown; a sister, Helen Brown; and a brother, Karl Brown.
His parents were Elmore Roe Hammon and Dessie Lee Brinkley.
Services were Jan. 6, 2007 at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with Mrs. Charly Morgan officiating.
Burial was in Crayne Cemetery.
Beard
Reba Beard, 90, of Marion, passed away Dec. 21, 2006 at Crittenden Hospital.
She was a member of Marion Church of God.
Surviving are two sons, Jerry Crews of Columbia, S.C., and Lowery Crews of Louisville; a special friend, Jeanie Fritts of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; three grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Services were Dec. 27 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Starrick and Sister Lucy Tedrick officiating.
Burial was in Lola Cemetery.
Pohlman
GERALD, Mo. – Services will be held Jan. 4, 2007, for Betty Sliger Pohlman, 75, formerly of Marion.
Arrangements were handled by Oltman Funeral Home in Gerald.
Surviving are three daughters, Carolyn Mercer of Florida, Jeannie Duke and Charlotte Vandiver, both of Kansas; three brothers, Lewis, Alfred and Kenneth; and three sisters, Roberta Cash, Faye Duggan and Kay Glore; and three grandchidlren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; brother Robert Neal, sisters Mildred, Frances and Georgia.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Williams
Claude R. Williams, Jr., 69, of Marion, passed away Dec. 31, 2006 at Crittenden Hospital.
He was a member of Ambassadors for Christ Church.
Surviving are his wife, Stella; two sons, Timothy Williams of Marion and Claude Williams III of Manchester, Tenn.; three daughters, Edith Rose Wells of Marion, Carolyn Louise Graham of Marion and Anna Michelle Belcher of Goodletsville, Tenn.; two brothers, David E. and Jefferson Douglas Williams, both of Marion; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were Jan. 3, 2007 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Downs officiating.
Burial was in Freedom Cemetery.
Weldon
PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. – Tom Weldon, 55, passed away Dec. 14, 2006.
Services were conducted by Southerland Funeal Home in Panama City Beach.
He is survived by his wife, Becky; two daughters, Jayna Ennis of Evansville and Staci Couch of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; a son, Doug Hovermale of Marion, Ind.; his mother, Margaret Weldon of Marion; a brother, Mike Weldon of Marion; three sisters, Ginny Tinsley, Patricia Vied and Nancy Hodge, all of Marion; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter N. Weldon; and a sister, Margaret Louise.
