Truman H. Dunkerson, 85, of Burna, passed away May 30, 2000 at Crittenden Hospital. He was a member of Dyer Hill Baptist Church and supporter of Burna Christian park. He was a retired truck driver.
Surviving are his wife, Katherine Dunkerson of Burna; a son, Homer Dunkerson of Burna; three daughters, Nancy Hanley of Lewisburg, Debbie Mauck of Nashville and Diane Dunkerson; two brothers, Warren G. Dunkerson of Paducah and G.W.
Dunkerson of Burna; four sisters, Dessie Barnes of Salem, LaVern Sanders of Akron, Ohio, Nona Davis of Joliet, Ill., and Joyce McMican of Hatfield, Ind.; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Nona Knight Dunkerson, three brothers and one sister.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., June 1 at Dyer Hill Cemetery with Rev. Shoney Oliver officiating. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Dyer Hill Baptist Church, c/o Linda Ladd, 1290 U.S. Hwy. 60 East, Smithland, KY 42081.
Walker
Nancy Ann Pritchett Walker, 55, of Marion, passed away May 20, 2000 at Crittenden Hospital.
She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, the Marion United Methodist Church and the National Respiratory Board of Care. She was a certified respiratory therapist.
Surviving are two daughters, Rebecca Hyatt of Evansville and Angela Walker Owen of Marion; a son, Chad Walker of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; her mother, Kathryn Pritchett of Corydon; a sister, Sue P. Thomas of Gillette, Wyom.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Walker, and her father, Buck Pritchitt.
Graveside services were held May 23 at Shady Grove Cemetery with Rev. David LeNeave officiating. Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery.

Phelps
Rev. J.D. Phelps, 82, of Gadsden, Ala., formerly of Marion, passed away May 18, 2000 in Gadsden.
He was a graduate of Bethel College and Presbyterian Seminary in McKenzie, Tenn., and ministered 60 years in Kentucky, Tennessee, Michigan, Alabama and Mississippi. He attended East Gadsden Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Gadsden since retirement.
Surviving are his wife, Peggy Phelps; two sons, James Douglas Phelps of Kingston Springs, Tenn., and John Francis Phelps of Hawesville; a daughter, Donna Faye Fite of Columbia, miss.; eight grandchildren, Gregory Phelps of Kirkland, Wash., Scott Phelps of Kingston Springs, Tenn., John Bryan Phelps of Hawesville, Christopher Fite of Baton Rouge, La., James and Michael Fite of Columbia, Miss., Kimberly Welborn of Hawesville, and Anna Irene Fite of Columbia, Miss.; two brothers, Curtis Eugene Phelps of Marion and Rev. Lawrence Earl Phelps of Adamsville, Tenn.; two sisters, Edna Christine Herrin of Providence and Nelda Frances Phelps of Marion; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anne Bettis Phelps. His parents were Rev. George Francis and Daisy Scott Phelps.
Funeral services were held May 24 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Pope and Rev. Jack Ferguson officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Frankie Floyd Educational Endowment Fund at the East Gadsden Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Gadsden, Ala.
Hudson
Paul Hudson, 55, of Marion, passed away May 17, 2000 at his home.
He is survived by his mother, Mittie Hudson of Marion.
Funeral services were held May 20 at Dunn Springs Cemetery with Rev. Gary Hardesty officiating. Burial was in Dunn Springs Cemetery.
Lindsey
Hazel Lindsey, 79, of Dycusburg, passed away May 18, 2000 at Livingston Hospital. She was a member of Frances Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Warner Lindsey of Dycusburg; two sons, Larry Lindsey and Rickey Lindsey, both of Dycusburg; a daughter, Joy Knight of Dycusburg; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Lindsey.
Funeral services were held May 21 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene White and Rev. Kenny Odom officiating. Burial was in Dycusburg Cemetery.
Board
Billie Board, 69, of Fredonia, passed away May 13, 2000 at Caldwell County Hospital. He was a retired truck driver at Fredonia Valley Quarry and a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Ricky Board and Randy Board, both of Caldwell County; a sister, Barbara Sigler Hillyard of Caldwell County; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Board was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Turley Beard; a brother, Robert Board; and his parents, Edward Board and Nellie Canada Board.
Funeral services were held May 16 at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Lester Watson officiating. Burial was in Leech Cemetery in Caldwell County.
Hendrix
Funeral services for Guy Davis Hendrix, 86, of Marion, were held May 15 at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial in Sugar Grove Cemetery. Hendrix passed away May 13, 2000 at Salem Springlake Care Center in Salem.
Hendrix was a retired mail carrier and farmer.
Surviving are three sons, Carol Hendrix of Marion, Darrel Hendrix of Clay and Bruce Hendrix of Greenville; a daughter, Joy Wesmoland of Marion; a sister, Addie Mae Curry of Melbourne, Fla.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell Hendrix.
Teitloff
Thelma Teitloff, 86, of Smithland, passed away May 16, 2000 at Livingston Hospital. Funeral services will be held May 18 at Boyd Funeral Chapel with Rev. Roy Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
Survivors include five sons, Jimmie Teitloff of Nashville, Bill Teitloff of Calvert City, Randall Teitloff of Jonesboro, Ark., Ishmael Teitloff of Salem and Jerry Teitloff of Calvert City; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Teitloff, and her parents, Alvin and Estella Singleton Curnel.
Daughtrey
Betty Ann James Daughtrey, 79, of South Bend, Ind., passed away April 30, 2000 at St. Joseph County Hospice.
Daughtrey was a former Marion resident and 1939 graduate of Marion High School.
Survivors include a son, Richard J. Daughtrey of Nokomis, Fla.; a daughter, Janice Ann Firtl of South Bend, Ind.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Daughtrey was preceded in death by her husband, James William Daughtrey, and her parents, Frank and Zoe James.
Funeral services were held May 3 at Handley and Son Funeral Home in South Bend.
