He is survived by his wife, Virginia Darnell of Marion; two sons James Darnell and Thomas Eric Darnell, both of Marion; five daughters, Debbie Holmstrom of Princeton, Nora Farmer, Laura Brooks, Ann Dunn and Mary Jackson, all of Marion; 11 grandchildren; and 11great-grandchildren.
Darnell was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Darlene Darnell.
Services were held Jan. 8 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Phillips officiating. Burial was in Dunn Springs Cemetery.
Crider
Services for Billie Doris Crider, 68, of Marion were held Jan. 8 at Marion Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Phillips and Dr. Darrell Clarke officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Crider passed away Jan. 5, 2000 at Crittenden Health Systems.
She was a member of Cave Springs General Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Ramona Ford of Marion; a sister, Patsy Greer of Smithland; and two grandsons, Derek McCree and Brian McCree, both of Marion.
Slaton
Julia Carr Goad Slaton of Marion passed away Jan. 5, 2000 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.
She is survived by her husband, James Slaton of Marion; her mother, Rella Fryer of Evansville, Ind.; a daughter, Lisa Brothers of Evansville; a son Larry "Tag" Goad of Evansville; and a brother, John James Frye of Castleberry, Fla.
Graveside services were held Jan. 7 at Repton Cemtery with Rev. Robert Phillips officiating.
Millikan
Frances Alma Millikan, 89, of Salem, passed away Jan. 6, 2000 at Crittenden Hospital.
She is survived by a son, Robert Millikan of Salem; two daughters, Evelyn Millikan of Salem and Louise Hall of Chicago, Ill.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coleman Millikan.
Services were held Jan. 9 at Loveless Chapel Church with Revs. Larry Peach and Wayne Hunt officiating. Burial was in Loveless Chapel Cemetery.
Campbell
Edith Campbell, 90, of Salem passed away Jan. 7, 2000 at Salem Springlake Care Center.
She is survived by a daughter, Jean Simpkins of Mayfield; two grandchildren, Sandra Armstrong and Don Simpkins, both of Mayfield; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Lewis Campbell.
Services were held Jan. 10 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. James Dwiggins officiating. Burial was in Lola Cemetery.
Curry
Bobby Curry, 45, of Ledbetter passed away Jan. 8, 2000 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
He was a member of the U.M.W.A. and was employed by Martin Marietta Aggregates for 23 years.
Curry is survived by a daughter, Christy Curry of Smithland; a son, Bobby Curry of Smithland; his mother, Lavine George of Salem; his step father, James George of Salem; two sisters, Kathy Curnel of Marion and Betty Belt of Joy; two brothers, Everett Curry of Paducah and David George of Marion; several cousins, nieces, nephews, a great niece and a great nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father, Riley Curry.
Services were held Jan. 11 at Boyd Funeral Home with Revs. Larry Peach and Cortis Hill. Burial was in Good Hope Cemetery.
Lee
Burnest Lee, 77. of Paducah, passed away Jan. 9, 2000 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
He is survived by his wife, Molee Lee of Paducah; two step daughters, Alice Patterson of Paducah and Marilyn Lopez of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Alice Hill of Smithland, Marie Ray of Madisonville; six brothers, Richard Lee of Oklahoma City, Okla., Elton Lee of Benton, Robbie Lee of Paducah, Bobbie Lee of Joppa, Ill., and Noel Smith and Lee Smith both of Harrodsburg; several nieces and nephews; and six step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Loretta Lee.
Graveside services were held Jan. 11 at McMurry Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Terry Henderson officiating. Boyd Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Stevens
Christy Cullen Stevens, 21, of Sturgis passed away Dec. 29, 2000 in a single car accident.
Stevens is survived by her husband, Corporal David Allen Stevens, who is stationed in Japan; two daughters, Mallory Brooke Stevens and Alyssa Anna Stevens, both of the home; her parents, Freddy and Georgia Cullen of Sturgis; two sisters, Joyce Curtis of Sturgis and Debbie Henry of Carmi, Ill.; four half-sisters, Joann Ricketts and Sharon Hayes, both of Waverly, Martha Russelburg of Sturgis and Donna Sue Pope of Orlando, Fla; two brothers, Freddy Ray Cullen and Jerry Cullen, both of Sturgis; a half-brother, Ronnie Keen of Degroves, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Jan. 3 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis with Rev. Nicky
Winders officiating. Burial was in Pythian Ridge Cemetery.
Reynolds
Boyd Lewis Reynolds, 87, of Salem, formerly of Hanson, passed away Jan. 5, 2000 at Salem Springlake Care Center.
Reynolds was a retired farmer. He was a member of Providence Rural United Methodist Church.
He is survived by several cousins.
Reynolds was preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Blanch Reynolds.
Services were held Jan. 6 at Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Archie Oliver officiating. Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery in Hanson.
Perkins
Lori Gilland Perkins, 33, of Dycusburg, passed away Jan. 4, 2000 at Caldwell County Hospital.
She is survived by a son, Mason Shane Perkins at home; her parents Vernon and Linda Gilland of Fredonia; a brother, Jonathon Gilland of Fredonia; her grandmothers, Mae Gilland of Fredonia and Willene Woodall of Marion; a niece; a nephew; and several aunts and uncles.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 6 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crayne Cemetery.
