Billy J. Myrick, Sr., 71, of Marion, passed away Oct. 23, 2001 at Crittenden Hospital.
He was a member of Emmaus Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Penn of Marion; a stepson, Dwayne Sunderland of Salem; two stepdaughters, Sue Ringstaff of Salem and Paula Brown of Burna; a brother, Robert Myrick of Indianapolis; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Oct. 25 at Seven Springs General Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Howton officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
Tinsley
Sidney Lee "Jack" Tinsley, 83, of Orient, Ill., passed away Oct. 7, 2001 at the V.A. Medical Center in Marion, Ill. Funeral services were held Oct. 10 at the Parker-Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort, Ill., with Gene Fox officiating. Burial was in Denning Cemetery.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a son, Ed Tinsley of West Frankfort; three daughters, Sandra Holloman of Marion, Ky., Connie Machetti of Marion, Ill., and Lisa Jones of Benton, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Nancy Kelly of West Frankfort; a stepson, Ronnie May of Centralia, Ill.; four brothers, Jim Tinsley of Fredricktown, Mo., Herschel Tinsley of Bessmer, Ala., and Eugene Tinsley and Billy Tinsley, both of Marion; four sisters, Helen Belt of Paducah, Bertie Meier of Princeton, Pauline Brown and Mary Gilland, both of Marion; and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elzie and Eddie Tinsley; a daughter, Beverly McReynolds; a son, Ralph Tinsley and a sister, Katie Todd.
Hodge
Robert Jackson Hodge, 66, of Cary, N.C., passed away Oct. 9, 2001.
A retiree from IBM with 23 years of service, he was a successful fund raiser for North Carolina State University's College of Veterinary Medicine.
Survivors include his wife, Donna L. Hodge of Cary; a son, Todd Hodge of Cary; his mother and stepfather, Zula and Gilbert Tabor of Princeton; and a sister, Jerry Sullenger of Princeton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jewell Osborne Hodge.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Joyce
John Paul Joyce, 63, of Paducah, passed away Oct. 13, 2001 at Loudes Hospital. He was a retired U.S. Airforce Colonel and veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Sally Joyce of Paducah; two sons, Jeffrey Joyce of Dumfries, Va., and Mark Joyce of California; his mother, LaVerne Croft Workman of Paducah; his stepfather, James Workman, also of Paducah; and a sister, Brenda Jerome of Newburgh, Ind.
Funeral services were held Oct. 17 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Alexander officiating. Burial was in Salem Cemetery.

Campbell
Funeral services for Mary Rosie Campbell, 91, of Marion, were held Oct. 15, 2001 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Groff officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Campbell passed away Oct. 12 at Crittenden County Convalescent Center.
Survivors include two sons, Carlos Ray Campbell of Fredonia and Archie Campbell of Marion; two daughters, Pauline Herrin and Eva Mae Vick, both of Marion; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Caraway
J.B. Caraway, 75, of Caldwell County, passed away Oct. 12, 2001 at Caldwell County Hospital. He was a farmer and member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Oct. 14 at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Arrice Taylor and Rev. Lester Watson officiating. Burial was in Morse Cemetery.
Caraway is survived by a daughter, Karen Knight of Caldwell County; two sisters, Tylene Morgan of Princeton and Kathy Holloman of Caldwell County; two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents were Clyde Lee and Ruby McChesney Caraway.
Millikan
Miracle Faith Angel Millikan, age nine months, passed away Oct. 11, 2001 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
Surviving are her parents, Amanda and Roy Millikan of Eddyville; a sister, Destiny Millikan at home; grandparents Steve and Rita Jared Collins of Madisonville, Clim and Mildred Millikan of Eddyville; a grandfather, Mike Jared of Cookesville, Tenn.; great-grandparents Roy and Louise Collins of Marion, Pepper and Mary Millikan of Marion and Willie Rose Nickell of West Liberty, Ky.
Funeral services were held Oct. 13 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Phillip McCoy officiating. Burial was in Hazel Bend Cemetery.

Alvie Jewell "Abe" Null, 73, of Hampton, passed away Oct. 10, 2001 at Crittenden Hospital.
Survivors include two daughters, Melva Louis Richmond of Burna and Patricia Woodall of Marion; two sisters, Thelma Rooker of Louisville and Lavana Driver of Grand Rivers; a brother, J.W. Null of Minnesota; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Null.
Graveside services were held at Dyer Hill Cemetery with Bro. Lewis Moore officiating.
Roberts
Clara Catherine "Cathy" Roberts, 56, of Marion, passed away Oct. 10, 2001 at her home. She was a florist in Marion for many years, most recently operating The Flower Basket on Main Street.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Roberts of Marion; a son, David Roberts of Marion; four sisters, Lois Belt of Marion, Sue Croft of Paducah, Betty Williams of Johnson City, Ill., and Vivian Jennings of Herrin, Ill.; a brother, Billy G. Curry of Orlando; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jessie Curry and James O. Curry; and a sister, Edna Jones.
Funeral services were held Oct. 13 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. Lucy Tedrick officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Cummings
Michael J. Cummings, 50, of Marion, passed away Sept. 25, 2001 at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Cummings of Marion; a daughter, Melissa Cummings; three sons, Willy Cummings and Steven Cummings of Marion; and Michael Cummings, Jr., of Morganfield.
No services were held. Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Perryman
Funeral services for Ruby Jane Perryman, 76, of Marion, were held Oct. 17, 2001 at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Baker, Bro. Faris Sahawneh and Paul Cannon officiating. Burial was in Mexico Cemetery. Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her husband, James T. Perryman of Marion; a son, James L. Perryman of Merrillville, Ind.; a brother, Kenneth Wheeler of Swannee; two sisters, Gerlene Hazel of Evansville and Mary Shinall of Valparaiso, Ind.; and one grandchild.
