Tim Hunt, 84, of Marion, passed away May 7, 2001 at Crittenden Hospital.
He was a member and deacon of Pleasant Hill Regular Baptist Church and member of Woodman of the World. He worked for Kentucky Utilities for over 25 years, was a WWII veteran, receiving both the Pacific and European Theatre ribbons.
Surviving are a brother, Elder William E. Hunt of Marion; three sisters, Lena Belt of Paris, Tenn., Martha "Dell" Ramsey of Marion, Elizabeth "Libby" Abell of Marion; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Hunt; three brothers, Maynard Hunt, John A Hunt and Arnold "Shorty" Hunt. His parents were William Harvey and Carrie Woodall Hunt.
Funeral services were held May 9 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Cortis Hill officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Lanham
Mark D. Lanham, 42, of Marion, passed away May 5, 2001.
Graveside services were held May 8 at Mapleview Cemetery with Rev. Frank McCallum and Rev. Robert Phillips officiating. Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are a daughter, Kayla Shewmaker of Ohio; two brothers, Arthur L. Shewmaker of Lake Station, Ind., and Eddie W. Shewmaker of Marion; four sisters, Carolyn Miliam of Pennsacola, Fla., Jeannie Young, Marilyn Shewmaker and Nancy McKinney, all of Marion; and his mother, Mary G. Shewmaker of Marion.
He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers and a sister.
Chittenden
Otto Chittenden, 62, of Marion, passed away May 6, 2001 at Crittenden Hospital. He was a member of Marion Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Jean Chittenden of Marion; a daughter, Belinda Dempsey of Marion; a son, John Sallee of Marion; three brothers, Russell Chittenden, Kenny Chittenden and Bill Chittenden, all of St. Louis; three sisters, Dorothy Case of St. Louis, Callie Chadwell of Paducah and Carol Stroede of Arizona.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack Chittenden, Bobby Chittenden and Conrad Chittenden.
There will be no funeral services. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Gilbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Hughes
Elsie Olive Hughes, 98, of Marion, passed away May 4, 2001 at Crittenden County Convalescent Center. She was a member of Marion United Methodist Church.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held May 6 at Hurricane Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Garvey officiating. Burial was in Hurricane Cemetery. Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Belt
Funeral services for Juliane Stewart Belt, 30, of Marion, were held May 7, 2001 at St. William Catholic Church. Burial was in St. William Cemetery.
Belt passed away May 3, 2001 at her home. She was a 1988 Crittenden County High School graduate.
Surviving are her husband, William Brent Belt of Marion; three brothers, Wompie Stewart of Salem, Billy Joe Stewart and Jimmy Stewart, both of Dallas; and a sister, Debbie Padgett of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Joann Stewart, and a brother, Trevor Kuhlenschmidt.
Driver
Anna Grace Driver, 67, of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Paducah, passed away May 4, 2001.
She was born in Crittenden County. She was a member of Gospel Assembly Church in Kansas City and was affiliated with the Gospel Assembly Church in Dawson Springs.
Funeral services were held May 5 at Gospel Assembly Church in Dawson Springs. Burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lone Oak.
Surviving are her husband, Rev. Gene Driver of Kansas City; three daughters, Rugina Rose James of Eldorado, Ill., Renee Huddleston of Dawson Springs, and Jennifer Grace Kodner of St. Louis; a son, Jeffrey Thompson Driver of Paducah; two brothers, Doug Thompson of Tiskilwa, Ill, and Beckham Thompson, Jr., of Montana; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grace Jeffrey Thompson and Beckham Thompson, and one sister.
Asbridge
Funeral services for William S. Asbridge, 82, of Salem, will be held at 2 p.m., May 10 at Boyd Funeral Home.
Asbridge passed away May 8, 2001 at Salem Springlake Care Center.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Mary Lee Asbridge of Salem; three sons, Stanley Asbridge of Rockfield, Ky., Lanny Asbridge of Lilburn, Ga., and Kenny Asbridge of Salem; a daughter, Darleen Guess of Burna; three sisters, Luvena Boseman of Marion, Juanita Johnson of Salem and Erleen Kitchens of Salem; a brother, Junior Asbridge of Salem; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nina Campbell and Arthur Asbridge; and a sister, Perleen Kirk.
Hughes
John E. Hughes, 84, of High Ridge, Mo., originally of Marion, passed away April 28, 2001 at his home. Funeral services were held May 1 at Fellowship Baptist Church in High Ridge with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill, Mo.
Hughes retired from the electrical maintenance department following 36 years with the Chrysler Corporation. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in High Ridge, Mo., where he was active in the J.O.Y. Band.
Surviving are his wife of five years, Ruth E. Powell Hughes; two sons, Edward A. Hughes of Tuscon, Ariz., Phillip E. Hughes of Ballwin, Mo.; two daughters, Linda F. Keeton of House Springs, Mo., and Pamela K. Cline of Fenton, Mo.; two sisters, Vesta Brown and Velda Margaret Akers, both of Marion; eight stepchildren, Dianna R. Queen of Forthworth, Texas, John E. Hockemeyer of Holt's Summit, Mo., Carolyn J. Womack of High Ridge, Mo., Penny R. Spencer of Fulton, Mo., Shellea M. Young of Auxvase, Mo., Marsha G. Healy of Fulton, Ronald Z. Hickman of Amarillo, Texas and Rodney D. Hickman of Glendive, Montana; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; 16 step-grandchildren; and seven step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Mary E. James Hughes; a son, Wilmer Hughes; and a daughter, Augusta Moore. His parents were Paul Walker and Margaret Sheridan Hughes.
Swager
Funeral services for Steven Lawrence Swager, 47, of Antioch, Tenn., were held May 1 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Phillips officiated. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
Swager passed away April 28, 2001 at Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville. He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are two daughters, Alexa Swager of Nashville and Amelia Brown of Frankfort; his mother, Virginia Swager of Kirksey; a grandmother, Amelia Swager of Malvern, Pa.; two sisters, Diana Hutchings of Richmond, Va., and Karen Shupe of Farmington.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Swager.
James
Ena James, 86, of Marion, passed away April 27, 2001 at Crittenden County Convalescent Center. She was a member of Marion Cumberland Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years.
Surviving are two brothers, Rev. A.C. Hodge of Marion and Oliver Hodge of Evansville; a sister, Marie Robertson of Marion; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard James.
Funeral services were held at Gilbert Funeral Home April 30 with Rev. Jack Ferguson officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
