Kentucky Marriage Records by County

Harris

PADUCAH, Ky. ­ Milburn Eugene Harris, 73, passed away Oct. 19, 2002 at Paducah Centre Nursing Home. Funeral services were held Oct. 22 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Phillips officiating. Burial was in Green Grove Cemetery in Providence.

Surviving are two sons, Mike Harris of Troy, Mich., and Carroll Gene Harris of Providence; three daughters, Janice Woodkey of Springfield, Va., Patricia Harris of Morocco, Ind., and Barbara Hammond of Rensselear, Ind.; two brothers, Jack Harris of Salem and Carrol Harris of Clay; two sisters, Billie Travis of Paducah and Margaret Smith of Clay; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Terry

FORT MYERS, Fla. ­ Memorial services for Ruth Ochs Terry, 83, were held Oct. 21 at First Presbyterian Church in Fort Myers. Terry passed away Oct. 18, 2002.

She attended Western Kentucky University and taught elementary school for several years before moving to Florida. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Fort Myers and the Fort Myers Country Club. She was a member of the Winterthur Museum in Winterthur, Del., and the Filson Club in Louisville.

She is survived by her husband, T. Rankin Terry, formerly of Crittenden County; two sons, T. Rankin Terry, Jr., and John O. Terry, both of Fort Myers; a daughter, Joan W. Terry Mollett of Princess Anne, Md.; and two grandchildren.

Her parents were George H. and Julia W. Ochs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, George A. Oches III.

McClure

Troy Wayne McClure, 66, of Marion, passed away Oct. 16, 2002 at his home. Graveside services were held Oct. 18 at Pinckneyville Cemetery with Rev. Robert Phillips officiating. Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Surviving are two sons, Terry McClure of Marion and Paul McClure of Evansville; two brothers, Billy Owens of Marion and Danny McClure of Bowling Green; three sisters, Verna Kinnis and Dale Beverly, both of Marion, and Dean Wilson of Sharp; and one grandson.

Hunter

CREVE COUR, Mo. ­ Savannah A.D. Hunter, 17, formerly of Marion, passed away Oct. 6, 2002 at St. John's Mercy Medical Center.

Surviving are her mother, Renee Kirk, formerly of Marion; a sister, Stephanie Hunter, formerly of Marion; her stepfather, Gary Chittenden, formerly of Marion; her grandparents, Hayden and Louise Kirk, Bob and Venita Hunter of Marion and Clarence and Shelly Penn, all of Marion, Russell Chittenden of St. Ann, Mo.; seven aunts; seven uncles; many cousins and friends in Hawk Point; her special family, Buddy Cox, Jason Cox and Elaine Cox.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kevin R. Hunter, formerly of Marion; and a grandmother, Linda Chittenden of St. Ann.

Funeral services were held at Gilbert Funeral Home with eternal resting beside her father in Mexico Cemetery.

On Oct. 8, there was a candlelight vigil held at the home of Buddy Cox in Hawk Point.

Pace

SALEM, Ky. ­ Funeral services for Johnny Green Pace, 75, will be held at 2 p.m., Oct. 17 at Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. John East officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.

Pace, a member of Salem Baptist Church, passed away Oct. 14, 2002 at his home.

Surviving are a brother, James L. Pace of Calvert City; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother. His parents were James E. Pace and Opal Lee McDaniel.

Glenn

FREDONIA, Ky. ­ Virgil Howard Glenn, 63, passed away Oct. 9, 2002 at Lourdes Hospital. He was a member of Seven Springs Baptist Church and was a loader operator at Turner & Conyer Lumber Co.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Glenn of Marion; a daughter, Tammy Brantley of Marion; two sons, Kenneth Penn and James Penn, both of Marion; a brother, Forrest Glenn of Fredonia; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest Lee and Willie Lee Gray Glenn.

Funeral services were held Oct. 11 at Seven Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Howton officiating. Burial was in Asbridge Cemetery.

Hayes

Graveside services for Edna Lavine Ford Hayes, 83, of Marion, will be held at 1 p.m., Oct. 21 at Mapleview Cemetery. Rev. Wayne Garvey will officiate. Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery.

Hayes passed away Sept. 28, 2002 at Crittenden Hospital. She was a member of Marion United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a son, Gale Ford of Marion; a daughter, Linda Bonacci of Trumansburg, NY; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Marion United Methodist Church, 112 S. College St., Marion, KY 42064. Gilbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Lammert

MONTGOMERY, Ill. ­ Gerald A. Lammert, 72, of Montgomery, Ill., passed away Oct. 4, 2002 at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion, Ill. He was born in Mealbeta, Neb., and was a welder at Siemens in Western Chicago for several years. He was a member of the Irish Club.

He is survived by four daughters, Laura Andrews of Marion, Judy Capello of Moncillo, Wis., Sheila Strand of Kirkland, Ill., and Jackie Shannon of Montgomery; two brothers, Jay Lammert of Wisconsin and Wallace Lammert of Utah; 21 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Lammert.

Visitation was held Oct. 8 at Dieterie Memorial Home in Montgomery and Oct. 11 in Bridgeport, Neb., with burial in Oregon Trails Memorial Cemetery in Bridgeport.

Neel

Funeral services for Betsy Mae Neel, 91, of Marion, were held Oct. 11, 2002 at Gilbert Funeral Home.

Neel passed away Oct. 9, 2002 at Salem Springlake Care Center. She was a bookkeeper for Crittenden Motors for many years.

Surviving are two sons, Tom Neel of Nashville and George Neel of Lexington; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Neel; and a son, Joe Neel. Her parents were Ada and George Neel, Sr.

Funeral services were held at Gilbert Funeral Home with Dr. Darrell Clarke officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.

Lemon

HAMILTON, Ohio ­ Kathryn F. Lemon, 77, passed away Sept. 23, 2002 in Hospice of Hamilton Sunrise.

Surviving are her husband, James G. Lemon of Hamilton; a son, Mark E. Lemon of Gunter, Texas; two brothers, Jim Pickens of Missouri and John Pickens of Mississippi; and two sisters, Louise Cochran of Ohio and Elizabeth King of Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers and sisters.

Burial was Sept. 28 in Mapleview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the donors' charity of choice.
