Curtis C. Hunt, 87, of Bethel Ridge Road, Sharpsburg, passed away May 12, 2005 at Flem-ing County Hospital. He was the widower of Fannie Lea Whaley Hunt.
Mr. Hunt was a member of the Concord Christian Church and a veteran of World War II.
Born on June 20, 1917, he was the son of the late Bannie Mr. and Ada Dillion Hunt.
Surviving are a special niece, Garnett Spencer of Fleming County; a niece, Betty S. Rolph of Lexington; a nephew, Boyd M. Spencer, of Bellebrook, Ohio; and several great nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were a sister, Nettie B. Hunt; and two nephews, Frank and Willard Spencer.
Funeral services were conducted May 17 at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. James Wilson officiating. Bur-ial was in Longview Cemetery, Bethel.
Calvin Eugene Mattox
Calvin Eugene Mattox, 62, of Faris Branch Road, Wallingford, passed away May 12, 2005, at his residence.
Mr. Mattox was a member of Past Master of Harry S. Johnson Masonic Lodge No. 0641 in Cincinnati.
Born in Cincinnati on Feb. 18, 1943, he was the son of Jessie J. Mattox and the late Calvin A. Mattox.
Also surviving are one son, Rick E. Mattox of Cincinnati; two sisters, Betty (Bill) Jett of Flemingsburg and Pat (Jim) Garifalos of Cincinnati; and one grandson, Cody Patrick Mattox of Cincinnati.
Also preceding him in death was a brother, Jim Mattox.
Funeral services were conducted May 16 at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Emmons, Ray Snider and Brother Jim Porter officiating. Burial was in Goddard Cemetery.
Carlton McIntyre
Carlton "Carly B" McIntyre, 74, formerly of Hilltop, passed away May 14, 2005, at the Robertson County Health Care Center in Mount Olivet.
Born in Fleming County on Aug. 3, 1930, he was the son of Tom and Ina Grey McIntyre.
Surviving are first cousins, Oakley McIntyre Bryant of Flemingsburg, Houston M. McIntyre of Lexington, J.C. McIntyre and Juanita McIntyre Sherwood, both of Con-nersville, Ind., Loucille Mc-Intyre Hesson of Kankee, Ill. and Richard McIntyre of Bloomington, Ill.; and several other cousins.
Preceding him in death was a sister, Georgia, who died in 1948.
Funeral services were conducted May 17 at Price Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Grimes officiating. Burial was in the Elizaville Cemetery.
Anna Marie Post
Anna Marie Post, 92, of Maysville, passed away May 9, 2005, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center.
Miss Post was a homemaker.
Born in Flemingsburg on April 21, 1913, she was the daughter of the late John Robert and Cynthia (Hurst) Post.
Miss Post is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Alton Post, Doug Post and John Post.
Funeral services were conducted May 17 at Brell and Son Funeral Home. Burial was in Maysville Cemetery.
