James Walter Warder, 67, passed away Tuesday at Fleming County Hospital.
He was the son of the late Virginia Carpenter Hatfield and Elza Warder.
He was a retired Flemingsburg police officer and gun dealer.
James is survived by his wife, Jennifer Mineer Warder; three sons, Timothy, Dustin and Cody Warder, all of Flemingsburg; four daughters, Tammy (J.R.) Barton of Ewing, Jennifer Gallagher of Flemingsburg, Kim (Ashton) Biddle of Hilltop and Jenna Warder of Flemingsburg; one brother, Donald (Eldred) Warder of Lewis County; and grandchildren, T.J. Nathan and Keshia Warder, Brandy and Heather Barton, Josh Gallagher and Crystal and Kayla Biddle.
He was preceded in death by son-in-law, Terry Gallagher.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Friday at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.
Interment was in Fleming County Cemetery.
Elliott
Mrs. Patricia Parker Elliott, 60, of Lexington, died Monday, Nov. 27, 2006 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Mrs. Elliott was born in Fleming County, on March 14, 1946. Her parents were the late William M. and Lona Gilkison Parker.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Elliott of Lexington; one son, Robert E. Elliott of Lexington; one daughter, Melissa K. Elliott of Nicholasville; one sister, Linda Taylor of Louisville; and one brother, Duane Parker of Flemingsburg.
Services weree at 1 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 30, at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Boling officiating.
Burial followed in the Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Frazier
Dempsey Frazier, 81, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2006, at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home.
He was the son of the late Theodore and Alice Hicks Frazier.
Mr. Frazier was retired from Dayton, Power & Light after 30 years. He was also a former member of the Ohio National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie Howell Frazier of Flemingsburg; three daughters, Brenda (Carroll) Ballinger of West Liberty, Sherry Schaeffer of Flemingsburg, and Tennia Denning of Maysville; one brother, Junior (Bert) Frazier; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, D. J. Frazier; one sister, Joyce Sanders; and one brother, Dess Frazier.
Services were at 2 p.m., Sunday, at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home in Flemingsburg.
Burial was in the Fleming County Cemetery.
Pierce
Luther D. "Junie" Pierce Jr., 80, of Flemingsburg, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lexington. He was a retired farmer and a veteran of the United States Army.
He was born in Grange City on October 25, 1926 to the late Luther and Emma Filson Pierce. He is survived by his wife, Lillian Jamison Pierce, Flemingsburg; one stepson, Paul A. Jackson, Lexington; two stepgrandsons Corbet and Nicholas Jackson; and one nephew, Charles "Jabby" Snedegar,
Flemingsburg.
A Memorial Service was held for Mr. Pierce at 7:30 p.m., Sunday,
Dec. 3, at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home in Flemingsburg with Rev. Mac Colliver officiating.
