Wendy Jean Coons, 29, of 622 Washington Street, Findlay, Ohio, died Friday, September 28, 2001, at BVRHC.
Born November 20, 1971, in Findlay, Ohio, she was the daughter of John N. Jr. and Carol (Blanton) Montgomery. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church, Findlay, Ohio, a nurse at Winebrenner Village for the past two years. She received her LPN from Stratzenberger College in 1999. She worked at Findlay Ford in 1998.
She is survived by her husband, Paul J. Coons.
Other survivors include her children, Andrew Montgomery, Braiden Bland, (son), Kyle Coons, all at home, Nichole and Shannon Coons, both of Findlay, Ohio; sisters and brothers, Charles Montgomery, Frank Montgomery, Debbie Montgom-ery, Mrs. Thomas (Margaret) Kingery, Johnette Watson, John N. Montgomery Jr., Timothy Montgomery, and Jayson Montgomery, all of Findlay, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Dorthea Montgomery.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, October 2, at the Routson Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Steven Holbrook and Pastor Gene Milioni officiating.
Burial was in the Maple Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Routson Funeral Chapel, 201 Osborn Avenue, Findlay, Ohio.

Ricky D. Ousley
Ricky D. Ousley, age 41, of Martin, Ky., passed away Sunday, September 30, 2001, at the Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg, Ky., following an extended illness.
He was born April 1, 1961, in McDowell, Ky., the son of the late Estill Ousley and Ada Hamilton Ousley. He was a coal miner.
Survivors include one daughter, Christen Ousley of Martin, Ky.; three brothers, Steve Ousley and Jack Ousley, both of Inez, Ky., and Mike Ousley of Prestonsburg, Ky.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Judith Johnson.
Funeral services for Ricky D. Ousley were conducted Tuesday, October 2, 2001, at 1:00 p.m., at the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, Ky., with the clergyman, Dan Heintzel-man, officiating.
Burial followed in the Hamilton Cemetery, Martin, Ky., under the professional care of the Hall Funeral Home.
Visitation was at the funeral home.

Creddie “Ted” Lawson Duff
Creddie “Ted” Lawson Duff, age 91, of Hueysville, Ky., widow of Rev. James Duff, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2001, at the Riverview Health Care, Prestonsburg, Ky.
She was born September 9, 1909, in Garrett, Ky., the daughter of the late John Lawson and Dollie Turner Lawson. Mamma Ted was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God, Garrett, Ky.
Survivors include two sons, James Arville Duff of Hueysville, Ky., Freeman Duff of Versailles, Ky.; one sister, Alvie Lawson Frasure of North Hudson, In., eight grandchildren: Dr. Reva Guiler, Rita Osborne, Karen Hall, Sandy Mullins, Sheila Allen, Todd Duff, Ricky Duff, and Alex Duff, 12 great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, Patricia Duff and Elizabeth Duff, both of Hueysville, Ky.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Birchell Duff; three infant sons, six brothers, three sisters, and one great-grandchild, Olivia Nikole Hall.
Funeral services for Creddie Duff were conducted Thursday, August 30, 2001, at 1:00 p.m., at the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, Ky., with the clergyman, Donnie Braggs, officiating.
Burial followed in the Duff Cemetery, Hueysville, Ky., under the professional care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Ky.
Visitation was at the funeral home.

Viola Juanita Ricker Fraley
Viola Juanita Ricker Fraley, 76, of Hi Hat, Ky., died Sunday, September 23, 2001, at Pikeville Methodist Hospital, following an extended illness.
Born on December 8, 1924, at Greasy Creek, Ky., she was the daughter of the late James Hillyard Ricker Sr., and Channie Frazier Ricker. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy at Hi Hat, Ky., and was a retired dry cleaner employee.
She is survived by her husband, Don Fraley Sr.
Other survivors include one son, Don Fraley Jr., of Hi Hat, Ky.; two daughters, Sheri Fraley and Kimberly Fraley, both of Hi Hat, Ky.; three brothers, Charles W. Ricker and Roger Ricker, both of Dora, Ala., Bennie Ricker of Lima, Ohio; three sisters, Selmer Johnson of Weeksbury, Ky., Betty Crist of Lima, Ohio, Estalene Newsome of Louisville, Ky., five grandchildren, Robbie, Jennifer, Edmand, Jessica, and Michael; and two great-grandchildren, Stephanie and Stacy.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Hillard Ricker Jr., and Samuel Ricker; and one sister, Velmo Hall.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, September 25, 2001, at 12 noon, at the Church of God of Prophecy at Hi Hat, Ky.
Burial was in the Newman Cemetery, Hi Hat, Ky., under the direction of Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Ky.
Visitation was at the Church of God of Prophecy at Hi Hat.
Hershel Fouts
Hershel Fouts, 73, of Melvin, Ky., died Saturday, September 22, 2001, at McDowell Appalachian Regional Hospital, following a brief illness.
Born on January 25, 1928, in Floyd County, Ky., he was the son of the late Jacob and Alice Tackett Fouts. He was a disabled coal miner and a member of Joppa Old Regular Baptist Church at Melvin, Ky.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Johnson Fouts.
Survivors include one son, Barry Fouts of Melvin, Ky.; one daughter, Wanda Sue Fouts of Melvin, Ky.; four sisters, Loretta Stephens of Prestonsburg, Ky., JoAnn McCauley of Texas, Dacie Slone of Galion, Ohio, Goldie Woody of Newark, Ohio; and one grandchild, Alena Fouts.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Paul Dean Fouts; one daughter, Nancy Carol Fouts; and one brother, Edgel Fouts.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, September 24, 2001, at 11 a.m., at the Joppa Old Regular Baptist Church, Melvin, Ky., with ministers of the Old Regular Baptist Church officiating.
Burial was in the Matthew Tackett Cemetery, Melvin, Ky., under the direction of Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Ky.
Visitation was at the Joppa Old Regular Baptist Church at Melvin.
Anthony E. Brock
Anthony E. Brock, 73, of Columbus, Oh., passed away September 21, 2001, after a long illness.
Survivors include his wife, brother, sister, nieces and nephews, and many great sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Graveside services for Anthony E. Brock were conducted Tuesday, September 25, 2001, at 12:00 noon, at the Lucy Hall Cemetery, McDowell, Ky., with the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Ky., caring for those arrangements.
Visitation was at the Hall Funeral Home Chapel.

Earl “Hi” Mitchell
Earl “Hi” Mitchell, age 86, of Grethel, Ky., husband of Verlie Imogene Howell Mitchell, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2001, in the Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg, Ky.
He was born December 10, 1914, in Grethel, Ky., the son of the late Andy Mitchell and Maudie Hall Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell was a retired diesel mechanic, and a member of U.M.W.A., Wheelwright Local, co-chairman of the Mud Creek Clinic, board member of the Mud Creek Senior Citizens.
Survivors include five daughters, Donna Sue King of Teaberry, Ky., Brenda Bogar and Sharon Jarvis, both of Grethel, Ky., Regina Mitchell of Harold, Ky., Tammy Ruehrwein of Milford, Oh.; eight grandchildren, Mark and Stuart King, his wife, Tabatha; B.J. Gibson, Kelli and Natalie Newsome, Jami and Jerri Mitchell, Collin Ruehrwein; 3 great-grandchildren, Alexie, Eligah, Hannah King.
Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Enoch James Mitchell.
Funeral services for Earl “Hi” Mitchell will be conducted Wednesday, September 26, 2001, at 10:30 a.m., at the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, Ky., with the Regular Baptist ministers officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mitchell Family Cemetery, Grethel, Ky., under the professional care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Ky.
