Gladys E. Hogan, age 81, of Troy, Michigan, formerly of Central City, Ky., died Monday, March 11, 2002.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmond C. Hogan.
Survivors include her children, Daniel (ZoeAnn) Hogan, W. Douglas (Gail) Hogan, Michael (Virginia) Hogan, Joe (Ann) Hogan, and Jane (Salvatore) Agrusa; two sisters, Peggy (Richard) Richardson and Daniel (Faye) Crum; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia R. Hogan.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 3-9 p.m., at Price Funeral Home, 3725 South Rochester Road, (between Big Beaver and Wattles Roads), Troy. In state Thursday, 11:30 a.m. until funeral service, 12 noon, at First Baptist Church of Troy, 2601 John R. Road, (between Big Beaver and Maple Roads), Troy.
Interment will be in the Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester Hills, under the direction of Price Funeral Home.

Dorcas Tussey Fannin
Dorcas Tussey Fannin, of Spurlock Fork of Middle Creek in Floyd County, passed away March 10, 2002, at the age of 75.
She was born March 1, 1927, the daughter of the late Fred and Julia Haywood Tussey of Spurlock Fork, of Middle Creek, in Floyd County.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Fannin Sr., in 1978, after 31 years of marriage. She was a born again Christian of the Baptist faith. Before her retirement in 1991, following 25 years of service, she worked for the Floyd County Board of Education as a Cook at Clark Elementary School.
She is survived by her three children, Betty Fannin Layne of Syracuse, Indiana; Ernest Fannin Jr., of Spurlock, and Deborah Fannin of Oviedo, Florida; one brother, Donald Tussey of Middle Creek; two sisters, Angie Justice of Spurlock; and Lena Mae Hall of Town Branch, Prestonsburg; four grandchildren, Melissa Layne Drongowski of Nashville, Tennessee; James Michael Layne of Syracuse, Indiana; Christopher Fannin of Spurlock; and Pamela Fannin of Georgetown, South Carolina; three great-grandchildren, Christopher Blake Fannin, Alexander Drongowski, and Emilia Layne.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Bill Tussey of South Williamson, West Virginia; Calvin Tussey of Caney Creek, Curtis Tussey of Lexington, Ky. and Rev. L.P. Tussey of West Prestonsburg.
Funeral services will be held at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, Prestonsburg, Ky., on Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Dan Heintzelman and Randolph Crisp officiating.
Burial will be at the Lakeview Cemetery near Paintsville Lake in Johnson County.
Audrey B. Little
Audrey B. Little, 78, of Wheelwright, Ky., died Monday, March 11, 2002, following an extended illness.
Born on May 2, 1923, at Rush, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Pierce and Mary Ann Tufts Bailey. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Mikey Little.
Other survivors include two daughters, Peggy A. Bates and Mary Little, both of Wheelwright, Ky.; three brothers, Vernon E. Bailey of North Carolina, Chester Bailey of Ironton, Ohio, and Paul H. Bailey of Bypro, Ky.; one sister, Juanita Hall of Prestonsburg, Ky.; and three grandchildren, Judy Lynn Miley, Jason Edward Cook, and Stephanie Ann See.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William Bailey.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 14, 2002, at 1 p.m., at the Wheelwright Freewill Baptist Church, with Louis Ferrari officiating.
Burial will be in the Buckingham Cemetery, Bevinsville, Ky., under the direction of Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Ky.
Visitation is at the funeral home.
Anna B. Taylor
Anna B. Taylor, age 64, of Norwalk, Ohio, died Friday, March 8, 2002, at home, following a lengthy illness.
She was born March 27, 1937, in Harold, Kentucky, daughter of the late Ransome and Carmie (Castle) Blevins. She grew up in Harold, Ky., and had lived in the New London and Norwalk areas from 1960 until 1974, when she moved to Merritt Island, Florida. She moved back to Norwalk in 2000. She attended the Baptist Church. Mrs. Taylor had been a volunteer at a nursing home in Florida for more than 10 years. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by five daughters and sons-in-law, Zina Castle-Roberts and Don Roberts of Norwalk; Glenda and Ted Mason of Monroeville; Gletha and Clyde Sitz of Leeds, Alabama; Lorna Waldrup of Milan; and Sonya and John Verschoor of Cocoa, Florida; a son, Bradley Case of Norwalk; six brothers, Daniel Blevins of Clyde; Glen Blevins of Grundy, Virginia; Clyde Blevins of Harold, Kentucky; Terry Blevins of Jacksonville, Florida; Larry Blevins of Pennsylvania; and Chris Blevins of Georgia; two sisters, Nina Howell of Harold, Kentucky, and Lou Elkins of Crescent City, Florida; 16 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Case; her second husband, Jack Taylor; a son, Earl Eugene Case in 1994; a grandson, Joseph Sitz; a brother, James Blevins; and a son-in-law, Donald Castle.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, March 12, at 1 p.m., with Rev. Pat Eulett, of the Springmill Church of God, Mansfield, officiating.
Burial followed at Grove Street Cemetery, New London, under the direction of Eastman Funeral Home, New London.

Joann Tuttle McKinney
Joann Tuttle McKinney, 58, of Melvin, Ky., died Monday, March 11, 2002, following an extended illness.
Born on January 1, 1944, at Bevinsville, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Tom and Debbie Johnson Tuttle. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Shannon Turner.
She is survived by her husband, James McKinney.
Other survivors include two daughters, Shonna Phillips, and Sherry Compton, both of Melvin, Ky.; two brothers, Virgil Hall of Minnie, Ky., and James Tuttle of Mt. Sterling, Ky.; two sisters, Helen Johnson of Prestonsburg, Ky., and Goldie Bullock of Indianapolis, Indiana; and four grandchildren, Shanna McKinney, Jessica Bartley, Tyler Compton, and Matthew Compton.
She was preceded in death by one son, Wallace Turner; one brother, Nick Tuttle; and one sister, Violet Stumbo.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 14, 2002, at 1 p.m., at the Joppa Old Regular Baptist Church, Melvin, Ky., with ministers of the Old Regular Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be in the Turner Cemetery, Garrett, Ky., under the direction of Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Ky.
Visitation is at the Joppa Old Regular Baptist Church.
Beulah Prater
Beulah Prater, age 78, of Martin, Ky., wife of Ray Virgil Prater, passed away Friday, March 8, 2002, at her residence.
She was born March 1, 1924, in Wayland, Ky., the daughter of the late Millard Beverly and Cora Moore Beverly. Mrs. Prater was a homemaker and a member of the Maytown First Baptist Church, Langley, Ky.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mary June Webb of Allen, Ky., Sandra Lynn Flanery of Martin, Ky., and Theresae Lea Price of Lexington, Ky.; two brothers, Rev. Forrest Beverly of Dayton, Oh., and J.C. Beverly of Fairborn, Oh.; two sisters, Beatrice Porter of Allen, Ky., and Hazel Daughtery of Cincinnati, Oh.; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one deceased grandchild, Matthew Webb.
Funeral services for Beulah Prater were conducted Sunday, March 10, 2002, at 1 p.m., at the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, Ky., with the clergyman, Robert Varney, officiating.
Burial was in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, Ky., under the professional care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Ky.
Visitation was at the funeral home.

Sherman L. Foster
Sherman L. Foster, age 81, of Drift, Ky., husband of the late Nellie Marie Ward Foster, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2002, at the Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington, Ky., following an extended illness.
He was born February 29, 1920, in Martin, Ky., the son of the late Arthur Foster and Emma Shannon Foster. Mr. Foster was a retired coal miner.
Survivors include three brothers, Emmit Foster of Cleveland, Oh., Thomas Jefferson Foster of Akron, Oh., William “Billy” Foster of Gautier, Ms., and one sister, Nannie Foster Halbert of St. Mary’s Ohio.
Funeral services for Sherman L. Foster will be conducted Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at 11 a.m., at the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, Ky., with the clergyman, Ted Shannon, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Drift Cemetery, Drift, Ky., under the professional care of the Hall Funeral Home.
Visitation is at the funeral home.
