Born on July 3, 1940, in Martin, he was the son of the late Roe Ousley and Gracie Robinson Ousley.
Survivors include three brothers, Mike Ousley of Lexington, Rondall Ray Ousley and Darrell Ousley, both of Martin; two sisters, Joyce Ousley of Martin, and MaDonna Duncan of Prestonsburg.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, July 23, at 1 p.m., at the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with the clergyman, James Stephens, officiating.
Those serving as pallbearers for the fuenral of Willie Edward Ousley were Bille Joe Ratliff, Kevin Ousley, Rickie Duncan, Fred Mynhier, Martin Sexton, Robbie Nichols, and Jim Slone.
Burial will be in the Ousley Cemetery, at Spurlock, under the direction of Hall Funeral Home.
Mary Story
Mary Story, 80, of Salem, Indiana, died Wednesday, July 19, at Meadowview Health Care Center.
Born on May 12, 1920, in Pikeville, she was the daughter of the late James and Charlotte Casebolt Williams.
Her husband, Bernie Story, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Bloyd of Salem and Pebble McCord of Santa Rose, California, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, July 21, at 1 p.m., at Williams Family Cemetery in Pikeville.

Wilbur Woodrow Layne
Wilbur Woodrow Layne, 83, of Tom's Creek, died Wednesday, July 19, 2000, at his residence.
Born on February 24, 1917, at Tom's Creek, he was the son of the late Leonard and Lou Caldwell Layne. He was a retired coal miner, having worked for Princess Elkhorn Coal at David.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Hall Layne.
Other survivors include three sons, Jack Layne of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Roger Layne of Betsy Layne and Shawn Layne of Stanville; three daughters, Patty Bammerlin and Dottie Layne, both of South Bend, Indiana, and Glenda Hatin of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two brothers, Ellis Layne of Ragland, West Virginia and Edward Layne of Harold; three sisters, Stella Mavie Adkins of Richmond, Virginia Whitten of Paintsville, and Dollie Mae Butler of Hager Hill; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted, Saturday, July 22, at 1 p.m., at the Floyd Funeral Home Chapel, Prestonsburg, with the Rev. Virgil Hall officiating.
Burial will be in the Davidson Memorial Gardens at Ivel, under the direction of Floyd Funeral Home.
Agnes Hall
Agnes Hall, 77, of Betsy Layne, died Monday, July 17, 2000, at the Pikeville Methodist Hospital.
Born on April 29, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Adam Risner and Julie Prater Risner. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Hall.
Other survivors include three sons, Ted Hall of Monroe, Michigan, Terry Hall and Tommy Hall, both of Little Mud Creek; two daughters, Dottie Hall of Betsy Layne, Arda Kidd of Honaker; one brother, Jake Risner of New London, Ohio; three sisters, Martha Clark of Honaker, Della Dennis of Jenninson, Michigan, Mary Chandler of Seattle, Washington, 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 20, at 11 a.m., at the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with the clergyman, Junior Kidd, officiating.
Serving as pallbearers for the funeral of Agnes Hall were Greg Kidd, Kenny Hall, James Hall, Randy Hall, Barry Hall, Timothy Hall, Cody Hall, Gary Bentley, Adam Hall and Travis Hall.
Burial will be in the Hall and Risner Cemetery, Little Mud Creek, under the direction of Hall Funeral Home.
Hairett Lawson
Hairett Lawson, 80, of Garrett, died Sunday, July 16, 2000, in the Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
Born on September 24, 1919, in Langley, she was the daughter of the late George B. and Mae Moore Salisbury. She was a member of the Bethel Regular Baptist Church, Langley.
Her husband, Eddie Lawson, preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons, Rendell Lawson and George E. Lawson, both of Rochester, Indiana, Jimmy M. Lawson of Garrett; one daughter, Brenda F. Turner of Garrett; three brothers, Ashland Salisbury of Langley, James Haster Salisbury of Parkman, Ohio, George D. Salisbury of Napoleon, Ohio; one sister, Tava Terry of Langley; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, July 18, at 11 a.m., in the Bethel Regular Baptist Church, Langley, with the Regular Baptist ministers officiating.
Burial was in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, under the direction of Hall Funeral Home, Martin.

Lynn Boyd Holbrook Jr.
Lynn Boyd Holbrook Jr., 85, of Grove City, Ohio, formerly of Auxier and Middle Creek, died Saturday, July 15, 2000, at the Columbus Rehabilitation Center of an extended illness. He was a retired instructor at Mayo Technical College in Paintsville. He was a member of the Church of Christ, Prestonsburg, and graduated from Nashville Automotive College in 1945.
Born on February 28, 1915, on Middle Creek, he was the son of the late Adam Kelsey Holbrook and Virgie Lee Preston.
His first wife, Deloris Dotson Holbrook, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Onda Curnutte Holbrook of Auxier.
Other survivors include two sons, Larry Holbrook of Grove City, Ohio, Don Holbrook of Prestonsburg; one daughter, Patsy H. Wells of Grove City, Ohio; two brothers, Charles F. Holbrook of Anderson, South Carolina, and Ralph E. Holbrook, of Panama City, Florida; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 19, at 11 a.m., at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, with Evangelist Bennie Blankenship officiating.

Myredia Armstrong
Myredia Armstrong, 79, of LaRue, Ohio, died Monday, July 17, 2000, at her residence.
Born on January 18, 1921, in McDowell, she was the daughter of the late John M. and Anna Hall Bentley. She graduated from McDowell High School in 1938; attended Alice Lloyd Caney College in Caney Creek; then taught school in Kentucky.
Her husband, David W. Armstrong, preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons, Ronald David Armstrong of Marion, Rodney Armstrong of LaRue and Roger England of Marion; two daughters, Jennifer McCrary of LaRue and Shirley Mitchell of Columbus; two sisters, Myrtle Newsome of Marion and Magdalene Little of Columbus; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 20, at 10 a.m., at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue, Ohio, with Rev. Tim Pasma officiating.
Burial will be in the LaRue Cemetery, under the direction of Stofcheck Funeral Home.
Kenny Joe Cole
Kenny Joe Cole, 26, of Knoxville, Tennessee, formerly of Floyd County, died Friday, July 14, 2000, following a sudden illness.
Born on January 14, 1974, in Pikeville, he was the son of Estill Cole of Melvin, and the late Joyce Isaac Cole. He was a diesel mechanic.
Survivors, other than his father, include his stepmother, Fayetta Johnson Cole of Melvin; three brothers, Ricky Cole of Pikeville, Warren Cole and Rocky Cole, both of Melvin; three sisters, Melody Cable of Melvin, Crystal Johnson of Elkhart, Indiana, and Greta Tackett of Hi Hat.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, July 18, at 11 a.m., at the Little Rock Old Regular Baptist Church, Bevinsville, with ministers of the Old Regular Baptist Church officiating.
Burial was in the Isaac Cemetery, Bevinsville, under the direction of Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home, Martin.
Elizabeth Laven Turner
Elizabeth Laven Turner, 85, of Lexington, died Monday, July 10, 2000, at her residence.
Born on August 5, 1912, in Floyd County, she was the daughter of the late John Patrick and Mary Susan May Laven. She was a retired Floyd County school teacher, where she taught for 32 years, many of which were in a one-room schoolhouse. She had also been active with the Headstart Program. She received her BS degree from Pikeville College and was a member of Southside Church of Christ.
Her husband, Raymond B. Turner, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a nephew, Patrick Hunter of Wyandotte, Michigan; and a niece, Flora S. Barthelmes of Troy, Michigan.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, July 15, at 11 a.m., at W.R. Milward Mortuary-Southland, with Rev. Ken Neller officiating.
Entombment will be in the Lexington Mausoleum.
