Bee Baldridge, age 48, of Eastern, husband of Dorlis Shepherd Baldridge, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2003, in the Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
He was born January 1, 1955, in Lackey, the son of the late Adam Baldridge and Clara Mae Moore Dooley.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include one daughter, Lisa Dawn Terry of Eastern; one step-daughter, Sarah Thomas of Dema; two sisters, Rosetta Hall of Fisty, and Ethel Green of Indianapolis, Indiana; one grandchild, Kimberly Bald-ridge; and one step-grandson, Austin Thomas.
Funeral services for Bee Baldridge will be conducted Friday, May 30, at 11 a.m., at the Ball Branch Regular Baptist Church, at Mousie, with Sterlin Bolen and Mitchell Shepherd officiating.
Burial will follow in the Moore-Bolen Cemetery, at Ball Branch, Mousie, under the professional care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin.

Tina Hamilton
Tina Hamilton, age 64, of Harold, wife of Walker Hamilton, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2003, at her residence.
She was born September 22, 1938, in Harold, the daughter of the late Herman McKinney and Allie Hamilton McKinney. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include five brothers, Clinton McKinney, and Michael McKinney, both of Harold, Edgar McKinney of Pikeville, Terry McKinney of Holly, Michigan, and Dan McKinney of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; three sisters, Connie Richardson of South Rockwood, Michigan, Teresa Stevens of Harold, and Vanessa Martin of Brunswick, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, J.J. McKinney and Ronnie McKinney; and one sister, Donna Sue McKinney.
Funeral services for Tina Hamilton will be conducted Friday, May 30, at 1 p.m., at the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with pastor Edgar McKinney officiating.
Entombment at the Davidson Memorial Gardens, at Ivel, will be under the professional care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin.

Dollie Hamilton Akers
Dollie Hamilton Akers, 78, of Teaberry, died Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at the McDowell Appalachian Regional Hospital.
Born January 28, 1925, at Teaberry, she was the daughter of the late Milford and Minnie Kizer Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church at Teaberry.
She was twice married, first to Paul G. Hamilton, and later to Clarence Akers. Both preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons, John B. Hamilton of Teaberry; Hayes Hamilton of Beaver, and Thomas R. Hamilton of Grethel; three daughters, Ruby Hamilton of Xenia, Ohio, Pluma E. Newsome of Albion, Michigan, and Phyllis Hamilton of Pikeville; a brother, Millard Johnson of Teaberry; three sisters, Hamey Hamilton of Prestonsburg, Dillie Hamilton of Teaberry; and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Hamilton of Beaver; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, and her husbands, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Earmal Johnson, Kendrick Johnson and Willard Johnson; two sisters, Opal Hamilton and Nettie Martin; and one grandson.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 31, at 11 a.m., at the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church in Teaberry, with Old Regular Baptist ministers officiating.
Burial will be in the Andy Hamilton Cemetery, at Teaberry, under the direction of Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home, Martin.

Jerry Harold Ousley
Jerry Harold Ousley, age 61, of Hippo, husband of Ramona Lou Hicks Ousley, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2003, at Our Lady of the Way Hospital, Martin.
He was born September 10, 1941, in Hippo, the son of Alice Moore Ousley, of Hippo, and the late Grover Ousley. He was a retired coal miner.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by one son, Michael Grover Ousley of Greenup; one daughter, Melissa Carol Ousley Little of Blue River; three brothers, Richard E. Ousley of Branford, Florida, Clarence Ousley of Kannopolis, North Carolina, and Carlos R. Ousley of Bellevue, Ohio; one sister, Anna Lou Kahnweiler of Torrance, California; four grandchildren, Chloe M. Ousley, Jared Michael Little, Christopher Neil Little, and Campbell Jerry Ousley.
Funeral services for Jerry Harold Ousley will be conducted Friday, May 30, at 11 a.m., at the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Regular Baptist ministers officiating.
Burial will be in the Hicks Cemetery, at Hippo, under the professional care of the Hall Funeral Home.

Eddie Rowe
Eddie Rowe, 74, of McDowell, husband of the late Alpha Marie Justice Rowe, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2003, in Plymouth, Ohio.
He was born December 30, 1928, in Pikeville, the son of the late Hasten Rowe and Nervie Dutton Rowe. He was a retired Chrysler Motor Company employee.
Survivors include three sons, Eddie Ray Rowe of Ashland, Richard Rowe of Portsmouth, Ohio, and Mark Kevin Wade of Paducah; three daughters, Paula Ethel Tackett of Willard, Ohio, Fayetta Tackett, and Lois Elane Hall, both of Plymouth, Ohio; 11 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, and parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Perry Rowe and Randal Keith Rowe.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, May 25, at the Little Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church of the New Salem Association, at McDowell, with Old Regular Baptist ministers officiating.
Burial was in the Yates Cemetery, at Shelbiana, under the professional care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin.

Sophie I. Lands
Sophie I. Lands, age 77, of Martin, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2003, at Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
She was born February 18, 1926, in Martin, the daughter of the late Edgar Lands and Missouri Turvey Lands. She was a homemaker and a member of the Arkansas Church of Christ.
Survivors include three sons, Don Samons of Hylton, New York, Kirby G. Samons of Martin, and Leslie Dan Samons of Fresno, California; three daughters, Irene Sue Snyder of Martin, and Linda Joyce Blener and Diane Hayden, both of Reeds Spring, Missouri; one sister, Mae Carroll of Riverside California; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Sophie I. Lands were conducted Sunday, May 25, at 12:30 p.m., at the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Ronnie Samons officiating.
Burial was in the Samons Cemetery, Martin, under the professional care of the Hall Funeral Home.

Susie Bradley
Susie Bradley, 84, of Langley, died Monday, May 26, 2003, at the Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
Born January 23, 1919, in Floyd County, she was the daughter of the late Joe Bradley and Pearlie Stephens Bradley. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include four brothers, Bobby Bradley of Langley, Coy Bradley of College Corner, Ohio, Billy Joe Bradley of Belle Fontaine, Ohio, and Clifford Bradley of Lima, Ohio; five sisters, Shirley Haws, Bonnie Bradley, and Clara Parker, all of Prestonsburg, Louise Howard of Hippo, and Ruth Moore of Auxier Heights; special friends, James and Carolyn, John and Lesley Stout; one aunt, Betty Riley of Richmond, Indiana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Harlen Bradley, Gorman Bradley, and Clyde Bradley; and one sister, Zada Ratliff.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 29, at 11 a.m., at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, with Chuck Hall, Roger Hicks, and Raymond Lawson officiating.

Frances (Pitts) Moore
Frances (Pitts) Moore, 76, of Sebring, Ohio, died Thursday, May 22, 2003, at her residence.
Born December 6, 1926, in Dock, she was the daughter of the late R.E. Pitts and Maggie (Howard) Pitts.
Survivors include three daughters, Cathy Swanson of Lectonia, Deb Walker of Sebring, and Pat Gray of Beloit; two sons, Tim Moore of Beloit, John Moore Jr. of Alliance; one brother, Don Pitts of Winchester; five sisters, Dora Cappello of Jackson, Michigan, Myrtle Rinehart of Sebring, Jurlean Brogan, Juanita (Peachie) Clark and Alberta Porter, all of Columbus; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John T. Moore; second husband, Ed Grimm; and one son, Donny Moore; two brothers, John L. (Bud) Pitts Jr., Bill Pitts and one sister, Ester Counts.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 27, at 11 a.m., at the Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home, with Rev. Ken Price officiating.
Interment will be in the Highland Memorial Park.
Visitation is Monday, May 26, from 2-9 p.m. with the family and 7-9 p.m.
