She was preceded in death by her husband, Clovis and one daughter, Betty Woosley.
She is survived by three sons, Clarence Lloyd Woosley of Florida, Edward G. Woosley of Indiana and Fred D. Woosley of Louisville; five grandchildren, James and Doug Woosley, Susan Crusham, Darlene Fowler and Diedre Wade; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 6, 2002 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with Bro. Jeff Dye officiating.
Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.
Fulton Hayes
Fulton Hayes, 58, of Caneyville died on Friday, March 1, 2002 at the Bowling Green Medical Center.
He was born on July 12, 1943 in Grayson County as the son of William Edgar and Nellie Stewart Hayes.
He was a member of the Caneyville Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Baker Hayes of Caneyville; two daughters, Jennifer Lynn Young of Yeaman and Amanda Gayle Dockery of Butler County; his mother, Nellie Stewart Hayes; one brother, Gaston of Clarkson and one grandchild, Holly Dawn Dockery.
Funeral services were held on Monday, March 4, 2002 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville with Bro. Frank Doris officiating.
Burial was in the Rabbit Flat Cemetery.
Willa Dean Roark
1925-2002
Willa Dean Roark, 76, of Huntsville, AL died on Tuesday, August 6, 2002 in Huntsville.
She was born on December 15, 1925 in Millwood as the daughter of William Robert and Martha Ellen Ely Bratcher.
She was a housewife.
She is survived by one daughter, Gail Sullivan of Huntsville; two sisters, Elsie Layman of Huntsville and Cuba Kinser of Boston; one granddaughter, Laurie Sullivan Hunter of Florence, SC and a nephew, Earl Decker of Bethesda, MD.
Funeral services were private under the direction of the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield.
Burial was in the Vol Layman Cemetery.
Patricia Ann Ellis
1939-2002
Patricia Ann Ellis, age 63, formerly of Leitchfield, died on Monday, December 2, 2002 in Yukon, Missouri.
She was born on March 17, 1939 in Louisville, KY as the daughter of Tom S. Ellis and Martha Jane Ropke Ellis.
She is survived by her mother, Martha Jane Haire of Tennessee, two sons, John Michael and Dale Thomas Coats, both of Missouri; a brother, Tom "Tinker" Ellis of Tennessee, a half-sister, Theresa Wilson of Tennessee. Also surviving four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The body was cremated and services were private.
Hargus William
Hargus William, 84, of Campbellsburg died on Monday, March 4, 2002 in Campbellsburg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Revil Brooks Williams.
He was a native of Bulter County, formerly of Louisville, a retired stock clerk from Henry Vogt Machine Company after 26 years, and an Army Veteran of WWII.
He is survibed by two sons, Dannie W. Williams of Campbellsburg, Dennis Williams of Lyndon, Ky; one daughter, Hargustene Parsley of Louisville; one brother, Rodney Williams of Middletown, Oh; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 7, 2002 at the Dermitt Funeral Home.
Burial was in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Hallie L. Frank
1913-2002
Hallie L. Frank, age 89, of Caneyville died on Wednesday, December 4, 2002 in Louisville.
She was born on March 15, 1913 as the daughter of Fred and Fannie Porter Woosley.
She was a member of the Caneyville Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by four children, Louise Pettrey, Margie Lee Tate, Ralph and Russell Corley.
She is survived by three sons, Earl J. Corley of Caneyville, Carl Corley of Radcliff and Charlie Frank of Bowling Green; two daughters, Faye Haycraft of Louisville and Earline Tabb of Caneyville; several grand and great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 7, 2002 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville with Rev. Fred Woosley officiating.
Burial was in the Caney Creek Cemetery.
