Lela Mae Langley, age 85, of Paxton, Ill. died on Tuesday, September 23, 2003 at Gibson Area Hospital in Gibson City, Ill.
She was born on March 24, 1918 in Grayson County as the daughter of Valentine and Lena Albro Shartzer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Langley; her parents, three sisters and one grandchild.
She is survived by four sons, Gene (Carol) Langley, Truman (Judy) Langley, Glen (Cindy) Langley, all of Paxton, Ill., and David Langley of Bloomington, Ill.; two step children, Norman (Becky) Langley of New Albany, In. and Ester Peevey of New Albany, In. ; one sister, Kathleen Bradley of Big Clifty. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 25, 2003 at the Ford-Baier Funeral Home in Paxton, Ill. with Rev. Lisa Goodwin officiating.
Burial was in the Glen Cemetery in Paxton, Ill.
Theodore Roosevelt Decker
1918-2003
Theodore Roosevelt Decker, age 85, of Caneyville, Kentucky, died on Saturday, April 19, 2003 at his residence.
He was a retired truck driver and was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Aline; a brother, George Decker and a sister, Fannie Mudd.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Debbie Decker of Caneyville, and Junior and Jean Decker of Vine Grove, Kentucky; two brothers, Harrison of Louisville, Kentucky and Herbert Decker of Millwood, Kentucky; six sisters, Aline Cummings of Falls of Rough, Kentucky, Mildred Nash, Sarah Stinson and Mary Mudd, all of Caneyville, Ora Travis of Louisville, and Alice Decker of Florida. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Patricia Drake and Angela Wright and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 22, 2003 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville with Rev. Ed Dermitt officiating.
Burial was in the Rabbit Flat Cemetery.
Eugene Dennis
1941-2003
Eugene Dennis, age 62 of Leitchfield, died Saturday, October 4, 2003 at his residence. He was born June 26, 1941 in Hart County, the son of Ernest and Opal Miles Dennis.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Dennis and his wife Linda Mattingly Dennis.
Survivors include one son, Darrell Dennis of Leitchfield; one daughter, Cristi Dennis of Louisville; his mother Opal Miles Dennis of Leitchfield; three brothers, John Dennis of Michigan, Russell Dennis of Clarkson, and Ronny Dennis of Leitchfield; five sisters, Doris Decker, Bonnie Meredith, and Mary Ann Morgan, all of Leitchfield; Betty Jean Futch of Lexington and Diana Duke of Nashville, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003 at the Watson and Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Holly Cemetery in Leitchfield.
Visitation will be held after 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, 2003 and from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at the home of Watson and Hunt Funeral Directors in Leitchfield.
Euma Lavelle Willis Wilson
1927-2004
Euma Lavelle Willis Wilson, age 76, of Morgantown died on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at the Ohio County Hospital in Hartford, Ky.
She was born on June 30, 1927 in Grayson County as the daughter of Vol and Loretta Embry Woosley.
She was a housewife and attended the Wilson Home and the Horse Branch Baptist Churches.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Golyne Belle Woosley.
She is survived by five daughters, Sharon Kerr of Leitchfield, Norma Faye Embry of Caneyville, Euma Kathleen Taylor of Morgantown, Christine Embry of Welchs Creek, Ky., and Stella Cowles of Smiths Grove, Ky.; one son, Ronald Dee Willis of Fordsville, Ky.; three grandsons, Joshua Taylor, Ronald and Adam Willis; and three great grandchildren; three step children, Bonnie Kiper of Tennessee, Anita Wilson of Louisville, and Lester Wilson of Caneyville; two brothers, Oval of Indiana and Hicks Woosley of Florida. Several step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Monday, Jan. 12 at 1 p.m. at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Reverends Joe Watson and Terry Tarrance will be officiating. Burial will be in the Woodcock Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville after 5 p.m. Sunday.
Willis Clark
1927-2004
Willis Clark, age 76, of Falls of Rough died on Monday, January 5, 2004 in Louisville.
He was born on September 26, 1927. He was a member of Grayson County Cattleman's Association and a member of Stonesview Methodist Church and a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Clark; and his parents, Wavie and Alma Patterson Clark.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas W. and Paula Dee Clark of Louisville; one daughter and son-in-law, Glennis Sue and Jerry Pelfrey of Paris; two brothers, Wavie Clark of Louisville and Herman Clark of Short Creek. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Melissa D. Clark, Tracie R. Clark, and Juan Gerald Pelfrey; two great-grandchildren, Jerry Michael Pelfrey and Madison Lee Pelfrey.
Funeral services were held on Friday, January 9, 2004 at Watkins-Oller Funeral Hoe with Rev. Delmer Williams and Rev. Paul Williams officiating.
Burial was in the Spurrier Chapel.
