Willie Albert Jordan, age 80, of McMinnville, Tenn., died on Sunday, May 30,2004.
He was born March 21, 2004 as the son of Homer Knox and Etta Simmons Jordan in Warren County. He was a army veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Bea McAfee Jordan of McMinnville; two daughters, Jane Jordan Parkerton of Brooklyn, NY, and Kristin Jordan Conner of McMinville; one son, Willie Albert Jr. and wife, Jo Ann Jordan of Tullahome, Tenn.; his mother, Etta Jordan Rigsby of McMinnville; three brothers, Donald Jordan of Indian Shores, Fla., Louis Jordan of Centertown Community, and John Jordan of Decatur, Ala. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday, May 31, 2004 at the High Funeral Chapel in McMinnville, Tenn.
Burial was in the Shady Grove Cemetery.

Betty Dean Willis
Betty Dean Willis, age 60, of Leitchfield, died on Sunday, May 16, 2004 at her residence.
She was born on August 30, 1943 in Caneyville, Ky. She was a sewing machine operator and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene of Leitchfield; one daughter, Lynn Markwell of Leitchfield; one step-daughter, Kim Hood of Leitchfield; one son, Jody Maxwell of Leitchfield, and one step-son, Faron Willis of Leitchfield.
Also surviving is her caregiver, Betty Hayse and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with Rev. Randy Howard officiating.
Burial was in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Gerald L. Johnson Sr.
1933-2004
Gerald L. Johnson Sr., age 70, of Leitchfield died on Saturday, January 24, 2004 at his residence.
He was born June 28, 1933 in Leslie, Michigan as the son of Allen Ernest and Jeneva Emily Putz Johnson. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Rabbit Flat Baptist Church and a Mason with Shrewsbury Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Nelson Johnson of Leitchfield; one son, Gerald Lee Johnson of Jackson, Mich.; four daughters, Catherine Yokam and Christina Johnson of Jackson, Mich., Bonita Krpata of Fla., and Tracy Patterson of Mason, Mich.; four step children, James Jackson and Toni Drier of Levering, Mich., Deborah Kaufman of South Lyon, Mich., and Tiffany Sakcriska of Topinbee, Mich.; two sisters, Ada Stiles of Gladwin, Mich. and Barb Battleshaw of Leslie, Michigan. Also surviving are 29 grandchildren and five great-grandchiildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Ernest Johnson.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Watson & Hunt Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Gladys L. Young
Gladys L. Young, age 88, of New Albany, Ind., formerly of Grayson County, died Sunday, April 11, 2004 at the Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany.
She was born May 13, 1915 in Grayson County as the daughter of Sammie and Bessie Fentress Payton.
She is survived by her children, J. W. Geary and Larry Young, both of Waddy, Ky., Anita Niceley of Columbus, Ind., Alberta Cartuyvelles of Pekin, Ind., Wretha Ashley of New Albany, Ind., and Joyce Milliner of Hesperia, Cal.; one sister, Chloris Duggins of Caneyville; and one brother, Bryant Lee Payton of Spring Lick, Ky. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield.
Burial was in the Yeaman Cemetery.
Charles R. (Dickie) Johnson
Charles R. (Dickie) Johnson, age 69, of Clarkson, died on Saturday, May 22, 2004 in Leitchfield.
He was born May 12, 1935.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stoy and Nellie Clark Johnson; and one brother, Calvin Johnson.
He is survived by his brother, Leroy Johnson of Russell Springs, Ky.; three sisters, Louise Atkins of Peonia, Ky., Anna Jane Donahue of Louisville, Ky., and his sister and brother-in-law, Evadeen and Lyle Hogan of Quincy, Ill. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home with Bro. Wilford Logsdon officiating.
Burial was in the St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
Lillie M. Cieniawa
Lillie M. Cieniawa, age 63, of Clarkson, died on Thursday, April 15, 2004 at in Leitchfield.
She was born April 2, 1941.
She is survived by her husband, John Cieniawa of Clarkson; three sisters, Mary Sherrard and Martha Mattingly, both of Louisville, Ky., and Katherine Bonds of Jeffersontown, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmond and Nellie Mae Payton.
Funeral services were held on Monday, April 19, 2004 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Rev. Brian Johnson officiating.
Burial was in the St. Anthony Cemetery.
