James L. Forbes, Sr., 52, of Horse Branch passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born June 30, 1960, in Louisville, KY the son of James Willard and Dean Basham Forbes. He was a truck driver.
He is survived by his son James L. Forbes, Jr., his daughter Regina Forbes, and his daughter Samantha Forbes all of Horse Branch, KY; a Step-Son Michael Stewart of Hartford, KY. Also surviving are seven grandchildren: Jayden Peace, Promise Peace, Rebecca Baggerly, Haley Culbertson, Alexis Irwin, Dakota Wood and Cheyenne Wood.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Rebecca Forbes; and a brother Charles Raymer.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 16, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville with Bro. Jimmy Dockery officiating with cremation to follow.

Mark Anthony Bratcher

Mark Anthony Bratcher, 49, of Louisville, passed away Monday, May 27th, 2013 at the Saline Care Nursing Facility in Harrisburg, IL.
He was born on November 27th, 1963 in Louisville, the son of the late Leon and Eva (Swift) Bratcher. Mark was a self-employed carpenter who loved to play music, especially drums. He was also a member of the Baptist Faith.
Mark is survived by his sister Vickie Renfrow, his brother Donnie Bratcher, and his sister Gail Copley all of Louisville and his brother Charles Bruce Bratcher of Elizabethtown. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandmother Delphie Bratcher.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 30th at 2:00 p.m. at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Rodney Smith will be officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Harmony Cemetery.

Theresa Lynne Webb

Theresa Lynne Webb, 44, of Millwood, passed away Tuesday, May 14th, 2013 at her residence.
She was born on August 7th, 1968 in Louisville, the daughter of the late Hilbert and Goldie (Thompson) Webb. She loved the outdoors and Native American crafts. Theresa had two dogs, Baby and Buddy, and a cat, Shim she loved very much.
She is survived by her loving friend of more than 30 years, Harrell Snell of Caneyville; one sister, Rose Tomes (Joseph) also of Caneyville; two brothers, Hank Webb (Sonnie) of Roxi, Mississippi and Anthony Webb of Leitchfield, and several nieces and nephews. Other than her parents, Theresa is preceded in death by her grandmother, Dollie Thompson.
Funeral services will be Sunday, May 19th at 3:00 p.m. at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. James Alvey will be officiating. Burial will be in the Cain Cemetery.

Sharon Dianne (Suchsland) Tomes

Sharon Dianne Tomes, 69, of Leitchfield, passed away Thursday, May 9th, 2013 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
She was born on April 10th, 1944 in Louisville, the daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Holbert) Suchsland. Sharon was a cook for the Grayson County School System.
Sharon is survived by her 5 sons, Bro Timothy Elwood Tomes (Becky) of Caneyville, William "Billy" Tomes of Leitchfield, Ricky Alec Tomes and Larry Tomes both of Louisville, and Timothy Ray Tomes of Edmonson County; 4 daughters, Rhonda Dennis (Jeff) of Leitchfield, Ramona Catherine Lee of Louisville, Yvette Renee Stewart (John) of Caneyville, and Vickie O'Brien (Danny) of Louisville. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husband, Junior Thomas Tomes, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Funeral services will be Monday, May 13th at 11:00 a.m. at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Elwood Tomes will be officiating. Burial will be in the Beech Grove Cemetery.

Frankline Thomas Milliner
Frankline Thomas Milliner, age 83, of Big Clifty, Ky., passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009 at the Baptist Hospital East in Louisville, Ky.
He was born February 22, 1926 in Louisville, Ky., the son of Luther and Pearl Minton Milliner. He was am Army veteran of World War II and a retired maintenance worker for Lollard Tobacco Co.
Survivors include, his wife, Jean Miller-Milliner of Big Clifty, Ky.; one daughter, Patricia Paul (Randal) of Leitchfield; three sons, Thomas (Denise), Roger (Teresa), and Mark Milliner (Theresa), all of Louisville; two brothers, Charles Milliner of Big Clifty and Louis Milliner, both of Louisville; three sisters, Thelma Self and Mable Milliner, both of Leitchfield, and Glennie Drane of Hardin Springs, Ky., Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Cas, James, Carrie, Nathan, Krista, Scott, Jennifer, Eric, and Ashley; and 10 great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, James Michael, Emily, Brady, Summer, Keenan, Ava, Jacob, Lilly, and Hunter.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Herschel, and Earnest Milliner.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2009 at the Mt. Hebron Church with Bro. Bradley Bacon officiating.
Burial will be in the St. Francis Cemetery.
Visitation will be held after 4:00 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2009 at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield, and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the church.
Mary Nell Stewart
Mary Nell Stewart, 70, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Floyd Memorial Hospital, in Indiana.
She was the former Mary Nell Puckett and she was a Catholic.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Marie Puckett, and two sisters, Doris Jean Clemons and Pallie Puckett.
Survivors include: four sons, Edward Hawkins, Jasper Hawkins (Annette), Randy Hatfield (Holly), and Pinky Hatfield; two daughters, Jo Ann Terry, and Tamara Hatfield; two brothers, Lawrence Puckett (Juanita), and Kevin Puckett (Teresa); three sisters, Ann Puckett, Milly Nelson (Bobby), and Tammy Jacobs (Larry); 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Cedar Hill Cemetery, in Big Clifty..
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes(1119 E. Market St., New Albany, IN.).
