Fonta Bell Kerr, age 85, of Leitchfield, died on Monday, April 5, 2004 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
She was born October 7, 1918 in Grayson County as the daughter of Lawrence and Ella McClure Hartley. She was a retired nurse's aid, and was a member of the Leitchfield First General Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Carlos Kerr; one brother, Herman Hartley; and one sister, Ola Dean.
She is survived by three daughters, Peggy Brooks and Temple Ruth, both of Leitchfield and Carlene Matthews of Louisville, Ky.; three sons, Rev. Rudd, Carlos D. and Travis Kerr, all of Leitchfield. Also surviving are 13 grandchidren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 8, 2004 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with Rev. Buddy Brooks, Rev. Rudd Kerr and Sister Carlene Matthews officiating.
Burial was in the Landis Cemetery.
Carol Ann Morford Logsdon
Carol Ann Morford Logsdon, age 44, of Leitchfield, died Thursday, April 1, 2004 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
She was born February 25, 1960 as the daughter of Bill Morford and Lillie Mae Mercer in Grayson County.
She is survived by her husband, Chris Logsdon of Leitchfield; two sisters, MyLennia King of Leitchfield and Debbie Gentry of Connersville, Ind.; and one brother, Carlos "Pete" Mercer. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, April 4, 2004 at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel.
Burial was in the Walter Cook Cemetery.

Dudley Beeler
Dudley Beeler, age 77, of Clarkson, Ky., died Thursday, September 9, 2004 at University Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
He was born December 26, 1926. He was a farmer, WWII Veteran, and a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church where he was clerk for over 50 years.
He is survived by three sisters, Doris, Delora and Doreatha Beeler, all of Clarkson; brother and sister-in-law, Dalton and Linda Beeler of Clarkson; brother, Daymon Beeler of Clarkson; nephew and wife, Allen and Saundra Beeler of Clarkson; nephew, Stacy Beeler of Bardstown, Ky.; great-nephew, Adam Beeler of Clarkson; and great-niece, Alisha Beeler of Clarkson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mora VanMeter Beeler; sister, Daphna Beeler, and sister-in-law, Penny Beeler.
Funeral services were held Sunday, September 12, 2004 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with Bro. Jerry Weedman and Bro. Leland Childress officiating.
Burial was in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Rogers-Oller Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Janet Early Williams
Janet Early Williams, age 46, of Clarkson, Ky., died Saturday, October 23, 2004 at her residence.
She was born May 29, 1958. She was disabled.
She is survived by her parents, John and Joyce Early of Clarkson; son, John DiChiara of Clarkson; daughter, Jessica DiChiara of Louisville, Ky.; and husband, Denver Williams of Elizabethtown, Ky. Also surviving are five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 28, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. CDT at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Embry officiating.
Burial will be in the Goshen Cemetery in Breckinridge County, Ky.

Sarah Jane Smith
Sarah Jane Smith, age 59, of Leitchfield, Ky., died Wednesday, September 15, 2004, at her residence.
She was born on October 17, 1944 as the daughter of Sandford Meyers.
She was the assistant manager at the middle school lunchroom and a member of Shrewsbury Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Smith; her mother, Betty Meyers Watson; one daughter and son-in-law, Annette & Mark Cannon, of Leitchfield; one daughter, Rhonda Smith, of Pippa Passes, Ky.; four brothers, Frank Meyers, of Louisville, Tony Meyers, of Leitchfield, Norman Meyers, of Indiana, and Tim Meyers, of Shepherdsville, Ky.; three sisters, Mary Kirk Franklin, of Clarkson, Betsy Schroerlucke, of Leitchfield, and Vickie Campbell, of Louisville, Ky.; two granddaughters, Kelly and Kimberly Cannon, of Leitchfield. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held, Saturday, September 18, 2004 at the Watkins-Oller Funeral Home with Bro. Lee Schroerlucke officiating.
Burial was in the Shrewsbury Cemetery.
Noel "Bud" Trimble Jr.
Noel "Bud" Trimble Jr., age 76, of Falls of Rough, Ky., died Thursday, August 26, 2004 at his residence.
He was born on July 6, 1928 in Lincoln County, Ky., as the son of Noel Trimble Sr. and Lula Singleton Trimble. He was a retired signal maintainer for the Southern Railroad, and was a member of the Rough River Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mona Trimble.
He is survived by one daughter, Sherry Harp of Falls of Rough; one son, Robert Trimble of Hebron, Ky.; his mother, Lula Caffee of Burlington, Ky.; six sisters, Marjorie Smith of Burlington, Betty Keith and Martha Schaefer, both of Ft. Meyers, Fla., Anna Welcher of Acton, Ind., Eva Angal of Phoenix, Ariz., and Charlotte Floyd of Elsmere, Ky.; three brothers, Arthur of Myrtle Beach, SC, Charles of Franklin, Ohio, and Harold Trimble of Burlington. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Rob Trimble, Charles Harp and Jennifer Glass.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, Ky.
Burial was in the Steger Cemetery in Corinth, Ky.
