Clinton Acie Priddy, age 71, of Leitchfield, died Friday, October 1, 2004 at the Ohio County Hospital.
He was born December 19, 1932 in Grayson County as the son of Ray and Dorothy Edna Powell Priddy. He was a retired steel worker and a member of the Claggett United Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Maupin Priddy of Leitchfield; one daughter and son-in-law, Jeanean and (Steve) Thompson of Clarkson, Ky.; one son and daughter-in-law, Randal and (Charlotte) Priddy of Fern Creek, Ky.; one brother, Charles Priddy of Crestwood, Ky.; two sisters, Mary Nell Legrand of Louisville and Delia West of Elizabethtown, Ky. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Brandon, Cindy and Vanessa; three great-grandchildren, Brent, Colton and Cameron.
Funeral services were held Sunday, October 3, 2004 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with Bro. Garry Watkins officiating.
Burial was in the Claggett Cemetery.

Kayla Sue Hayes
Kayla Sue Hayes, age 15, of Oklahoma City, died Sunday, September 26, 2004 in Oklahoma City, OK.
She was born February 15, 1989 in Oklahoma City as the daughter of Gary and Susan Clemons Hayes.
She is survived by her parents, Gary and Susan Clemons, formerly of Leitchfield.
Funeral services were held Sunday, October 3, 2004 at the New Hope General Baptist Church at Sadler.
Burial was in the Church cemetery.
Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield was in charge of the arrangements.
Corda Harp Probus
Corda Harp Probus, age 79, died Tuesday, September 14, 2004 in Shelbyville, Kentucky.
She was a native of Edmonson County. She was retired from Baptist Hospital East's physical therapy department. She was also a former owner of the Probus Motel in Shelbyville and currently had been a volunteer at the Jewish Hospital Shelbyville. She was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church in which she was in the Sanctuary Sunday School Class. She also was memer of the Centenary Quilters.
She is survived by her husband, Walter A. Probus of which they would have celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on September 22, 2004; one son, Michael G. (Diana) Probus, of Wilmington, NC; one daughter, Karen S. (Larry L.) Crouch of Shelbyville, Ky.; one brother, Estle Harp, of Leitchfield; two sisters, Bertha Probus, of Shelbyville, and Mary Lou (Herman) Carter, of Leitchfield. Also surviving are four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, September 17, 2004 at the Shannon Funeral Service in Shelbyville with Rev. Mark Gibbons and Rev. Edward "Buddy" Coleman officiating.
Burial was in the Grove Hill Cemetery.

Emilee Michelle Peyton
Emilee Michelle Peyton, three months old, of Leitchfield, died Thursday, September 16, 2004 at Kosair Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
She was born June 26, 2004 as the daughter of Deric Peyton and Michelle Harned.
She is survived by her parents; paternal grandparents, Larry Allen and Sandra Peyton, of Shelbyville; maternal grandparents, Frankie and Margie Harned, of Leitchfield; great grandparents, Blanche and Allen Houchins, of Labelle, FL.; great grandparents, Bobby and Shirley Peyton, of Shelbyville, Ky.
Funeral services were held Sunday, September 19, 2004 at the Leitchfield United Methodist Church with Bro. Musial Parson officiating. Watkins-Oller Funeral home was in charge of the arrangements.
Burial was in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
John W. Lampton Sr.
John W. Lampton, Sr., age 73 of Leitchfield, Ky., died Friday, September 3, 2004 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.
He was born on September 12, 1930 as the son of Lee Lampton and Lydia Clark Lampton.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Lampton, of St. Paul, Ky.; two sons, John Lampton, Jr., of St. Paul and Joseph Lampton of Leitchfield; two daughters, Sheri Lampton of Indiana and Karen Riggs of Louisville, Ky.; three sisters, Ruby Hood, Laura Lampton and Rosa Dupin, all of Big Clifty, Ky.; and one brother, Jesse Lampton of Big Clifty. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at St. Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Martin E. Hayes officiating.
Burial was in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Big Clifty.
Margie O. Fields
Margie O. Fields, age 72, of Clarkson, Ky., died Saturday, August 7, 2004 at Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield.
She was born October 25, 1932 in Hart County, Ky., as the daughter of John L. Stanton and Beatrice Miller. She was a retired Real Estate Broker, and a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Hildred Fields of Clarkson; two sons, Lawrence T. Fields of Clarkson and Phillip R. Fields of Ft. Worth, Texas; two sisters, Ruth Jones Mathus of Louisville, Ky. and Addie Smith of Bonnieville, Ky.; and two brothers, Joe and Charlie Stanton, both of Bonnieville. Also surviving are two grandsons, Shawn D. Fields of Shelbyville, Ky. and Paul T. Fields of Washington, D.C.; and granddaughter, Stacey D. Fields of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at the Rogers-Oller Funeral Home.
Burial was in the Upton Cemetery.
James William "Jimmy" Lowe
James William "Jimmy" Lowe, age 62, of Eastview, Ky., died Saturday, August 7, 2004 in Eastview.
He was born on September 14, 1941 in Leitchfield as the son of Slaton and Dorothy Blevins Lowe. He was a retired overhead crane operator at Ft. Knox and was presently employed by Superior Builders of Louisville, and was a member and deacon of the Pond Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Shirley Wade Lowe of Eastview; one daughter, Shelli Green of Louisville; three sons, James William Lowe Jr. of Shepherdsville, Ky., Jefferson Wade Lowe of Mt. Washington, Ky., and Jared Slaton Lowe of Eastview; two sisters, Peggy Miller and Becky Crowe, both of Valley Station, Ky.; and one brother, Donnie Lowe of Louisville. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Kalynn McGrew and Kaleb Green; three step-grandchildren, Josua Lee Jackson, and Jeremy and James Coogle.
Funeral services wee held Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at the Mulberry Flats United Baptist Church in Leitchfield with Bro. Jeff Burden, Bro. Tommy Seabolt and Bro. Mendell Parker officiating.
Burial was in the Mulberry Flats Cemetery.
