Tammy Ann Blair Haney, 44, of Johnson County, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016, wife of Robert S. Haney of West Van Lear.
Tammy was born on June 11, 1971 to Hebern Manis Blair and the late Carolyn Rose Hitchcock Blair.
Tammy loved her family and had a sweet soul. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Hebern and Melby Blair and Blain and Avanell Blair; and her brother, Timothy Wayne Blair.
She is survived by one aunt, Virginia Ratliff; three uncles, Willard Hitchcock, Wayne “Bub” Franklin and Dave Blair; one niece, Jessica Blair; two daughters, Kayla Jones Kimbler of Sitka, Destiny Haney of West Van Lear; two stepchildren, Elizabeth Marie Haney of Holiday, Fla. And Robert “Bobby” Haney of Vieques, Puerto Rico; four grandchildren, Keirstan, Sonia, Zachery, and Madelyn; and a host of family and friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Tammy on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 6 p.m. at Paintsville Lake, Shelter 4. All are welcome, come as you are.

1963-2016
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 19, 1 p.m. at the Phelps & Son Funeral Home Chapel for Fredrick Fitchpatrick Jr., 53, of Van Lear, who passed away Wednesday, June 15 at his residence.
Burial will be in the Hall Family cemetery at Van Lear.

Janet Sue May Horne
1945-2016
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 16, 1 p.m. at the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel for Janet Sue May Horne, 70, of Paintsville, who passed away Monday, June 13 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville.
Janet was born Dec. 4, 1945 in Johnson County, daughter of the late Gail Edward May and Lucille Hitchcock May. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Anita Carol Horne Sexton; and two brothers, Paul and Jack May.
She is survived by three sons, Allen (Billie) Horne of Hager Hill, Bryan (Debbie) Horne of Piketon, Ohio, and Chris (Betty) Horne of Staffordsville; one daughter, Donna (Lonnie) Click of Leander; one sister, Patsy Butcher of Van Lear; one sister-in-law, Betty May; nine grandchildren, four step-grandchildren 10 great-grandchildren, 10 step-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Paintsville Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Lakeview Memorial cemetery at Staffordsville.

Patsy Lou Harris
1939-2016
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 11, 11 a.m. at the Phelps & Son Funeral Home Chapel for Patsy Lou Harris, 76, of Van Lear, who passed away Tuesday, June 7 at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg.
Mrs. Harris was born Nov. 12, 1939 in Johnson County, daughter of the late Daniel and Carrie Mullins Cantrell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Harris (1997); three brothers, Gene Cantrell, Avis Cantrell, and Bill Cantrell; and two sisters, Esther McCoy and June Moma.
Surviving are two daughters, Tammy Lynn Ervin of Keller, Texas and Kimberly Sue Lowery of Lexington; one sister, Patricia Cook of Irmo, S. C.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The service will be officiated by Jerry Scott, with burial to follow in the Highland Memorial Park cemetery at Staffordsville.

Linda Sue Johnson Green
1948-2016
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 16, 11 a.m. at the Concord Independent Church for Linda Sue Johnson Green, 67, of Van Lear, who passed away Monday, June 13 at her residence.
Burial will be in the Webb Family cemetery at Van Lear.

Alma Margaret Eldridge, age 72, passed away on Saturday, June 4, at Mountain Manor Nursing Nursing Home in Paintsville. Funeral services were, Wednesday, June 8 at 11 a.m. at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home of Paintsville.
Bufford DeLong
1932-2016
Bufford DeLong, age 84, was born in Van Lear in 1932 to her parents Brown Lowe and Golda (Butcher) Wells. She is the beloved wife of the late Mitchell DeLong, Jr., loving sister of Willa Dean (Jerry) Kovatch, Sola (Gordon) Cole, Andrew (Katherine) Wells, and Jack (Anita) Wells.
Bufford was preceded in death by her brothers Brown Lowe (Seiko) Wells Jr., Sebert (Polly) Wells, Woodridge (wife Patsy living) Wells and Darvin (wife Eleonore living) Wells. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Bufford was a supervisor at the former Precision Metalsmith Co. in Euclid, Ohio for over 40 years and was a member of the Eastern Star (Nottingham Chapter). Bufford passed away June 2, 2016 at Lake West Hospital in Willoughby, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 9 at 11 a.m. at the Brickman Brothers Funeral Home at 37433 Euclid Ave. in Willoughby, Ohio. Entombment will take place in All Souls cemetery in Chardon, Ohio.
Gwennith Lemaster Adams
1924-2016
Gwennith Lemaster Adams, age 91, died on May 31, 2016, in Plantation, Fla., after a brief illness. She was born on Aug. 24, 1924 to the late George Dewey and Effie Lemaster in Oil Spring.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Lee Ray Adams. Gwennith and Ray married
on Dec. 8, 1945, and made their home in Van Lear, where they raised four children. She is survived by one daughter, Gwendolyn (John) Burkholder of Plantation, Fla., two grandsons, Lt. Col. David Ray (Christin) King of Yorktown, Va., and Jay Burkholder of Plantation, Fla.; three great-grandsons, Reed King and Adam King of Yorktown, Va., and David Lee King of Sevierville, Tenn.; one brother Garner (Shelva) Lemaster of Enon, Ohio; two sisters Faye Lemaster Blair of Lucasville, Ohio and Esther Lemaster Amburgey of Vicco, Ky.; one sister-in-law, Bonnie Adams of Sitka; one aunt Myrtle Lemaster Hitchcock of Waverly, Ohio, and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Frances Lee Adams and Linda Adams Banks; only son Orin Ray Adams; one grandson Shawn DeWayne King; three brothers Eustace Lemaster, James Carl Lemaster and Gail Lemaster; one sister June Lemaster McCarty.
Visitation will be held at the Phelps & Sons Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 8 from 5 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Cold Springs United Baptist Church at 689 Cantrell’s Creek, Flat Gap on Thursday, June 9 at 11 a.m. with burial following at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville. Elder Eulas Adams and Elder Phillip Caudill will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made “In Memory of Gwennith Adams” to the Cold Springs United Baptist Church, 378 Stapleton Branch, Flat Gap, KY. 41219, or to the Van Lear Historical Society, P.O. Jamie Lee Robinson
Jamie Lee Robinson, age 39, of Crosby, MN (formerly of Oil Springs, KY) died on Thursday, May 26 at his home in Crosby. He is the son of Ron and Jenny Robinson and the late Luciana Geyer. He is survived by his father and stepmother of Oil Springs; his daughter Trinity Rose Robinson of Crosby, MN; four sisters Beth Davis of Prestonsburg, Tracy Shannon of Rochester, MN, Tammy Freeburg of Crosby, MN, and Ashley Turner of London, UK. He is survived by his maternal grandparents Gil and Georgette Blanchette and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at the Oil Springs United Methodist Church on Thursday, June 9 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with burial expenses.
