In Celebration of Life services were held Sunday, March 15, 3 p.m. at the Pikeville Airport Hanger in Pikeville, for James Gregory Hamilton, 66, of Flat Gap, who passed away Wednesday, March 11 at Markey Cancer Center in Lexington.
Mr. Hamilton was born Aug. 28, 1948 in Wyandotte, Mich., son of the late George David and Flora Ducina Hamilton. He was a part of the Mountain Arts Center and Kentucky Opry, a Vietnam War vet, and a business accountant.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Carroll Hamilton of Flat Gap; one son, Christopher Ginter of Morehead; one daughter, Brooke Ginter of Lexington; two brothers, George David Hamilton Jr. of Taylor, Mich., and John Wallace Hamilton of Lexington; and one sister, Mary Jane Logan of Taylor, Mich.
The service was officiated by Elder Joe Carroll.

Janet Marie Wheeler Mollett
1957-2015
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2 p.m. at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Janet Marie Wheeler Mollett, 57, of Blaine, who passed away Saturday, March 14 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville.
Mrs. Mollett was born July 16, 1957 in Franklin County, Ohio, daughter of the late Francis Eugene Wheeler and Pearly Jane McCoy Hashman. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Cheryl Thompson.
Surviving are her husband, Edgar Mollett of Blaine; one son, Mark Mollett II of Blaine; three step-sons, Marvin Mollett, Jeffery Mollett, and Edgar Mollett Jr., all of Ohio; two daughters, Debra (Timothy) Wells and Donnie (Scott) Burchett, both of Blaine; son-in-law, John Thompson; two brothers, Russell Hashman and Mark Wheeler, both of Louisa; one sister, Teresa Wheeler of Louisa; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren.
The service will be officiated by Jimmy VanHoose, with burial to follow in the Mollett Family cemetery at Blaine.

Funeral services were held Thursday, May 7, 11 a.m. at the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel for Hattie Lou Wilson, 76, of Blaine, who passed away Monday, May 4, 2015.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 11, 6 p.m. at the Burcham-Jennings Funeral Home in Fairborn, Ohio, for Burgess Blanton, 75, husband of Toby Blanton, who passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 in Ohio. Visitation will be Monday, May 11, 4-6 p.m.
Arnold William Ealey Jr.
Mr. Arnold William Ealey Jr. age 70, passed away at his residence on April 29, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born the son of the late Arnold William and Beulah Conley Ealey Sr. in Paintsville.
He was a plaster engineer in the construction industry and a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Ealey is survived by his companion of 27 years Janice Parrish of Taylorsville; his two sons, William Thomas Ealey of Taylorsville, and John and his wife Mary Ealey of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; one grandson, Nicholas Ealey of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; three sisters, Lena Gibbins of Paintsville, Lois Ann Johnson of Catlettsburg, and Phyllis Kay Griffith of Ashland.
Mr. Ealey was preceded in death by his parents.
He chose to be cremated and a memorial service will take place at the Ealey Family cemetery in Paintsville at a later date.
Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home of Taylorsville was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 4, 11 a.m. at the Phelps & Son Funeral Home Chapel for Madonna Jean Senters, 70, of Paintsville.
Pastor Josh Huffman officiated. Burial was in the Highland Memorial Park cemetery at Staffordsville.
Buddy Goble
1940-2015
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 29, 11 a.m. at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home for Buddy Goble, 75, of Hager Hill, who passed away Saturday, April 25.
Mr. Goble was born Jan. 3, 1940 in Johnson County, son of the late Ben and Manchie Robinson Goble. He was a retired business owner.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Goble of Hager Hill; three sons, Randy Goble (fianceé, Emily Jenson) of Charleston, W. Va., Roger (Bryan) Goble of Van Lear, and Ronnie (Donna) Goble of Flat Gap; one daughter, Teresa (Darrin) Goble Dixon of Winchester, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The service will be officiated by Justin Williams and J. D. Johnson, with burial in the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery.

Howard Wendell Wallen
1933-2015
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 29, 1 p.m. at the Tom’s Creek Free Will Baptist Church for Howard Wendell Wallen, 82, who passed away Sunday, April 26 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
Mr. Wallen was son of the late Mitchell and Leona Preston Wallen. He had been employed by the Johnson County school system for 38 years; a basketball coach; a member of the Kentucky High School Athletic Association; and a member of Tom’s Creek Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Jewell Ward Wallen; two sons, Howard Jr. (Debbie) and Michael (Teresa) Wallen; one daughter, Lisa (Hubert) Senters; one sister, Lois (David) Webb; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Elaine Louise Shaver
1917-2015
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date for Elaine Louise Shaver, 97, of Paintsville, who passed away Friday, April 24 at her residence.
Mrs. Shaver was born July 12, 1917 in Perham, Minn., daughter of the late August and Freda Eisenburg Knodt. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are two sons, Gregg Shaver of Mesquite, N. V., and Herald “Hall” Shaver of Woodbury, Minn.; two daughters, Mary L. Johnson and Jan Payne, both of Paintsville; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mary Aleene Trusty
1926-2015
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 28, 1 p.m. at the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel for Mary Aleene Trusty, 88, of Whitehouse, who passed away Saturday, April 25 at Community Hospice Care Center Nursing Home in Ashland.
Mrs. Trusty was born June 7, 1926 in Pike County, daughter of the late Garland and Elvie Babb Epling. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ottis Trusty.
Surviving are one son, Gordon B. Trusty of Paintsville; two daughters, Brenda Sue Walker of Whitehouse, and Latie Carol Williams of Gulf Port, Miss.; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
The service was officiated by Isaac Rowland, with burial in the Johnson County Memorial cemetery at Staffordsville.
